A shot was then fired from a sniper rifle, it just barely missing Alex's head, but hitting the left strap of her goggles.

"Now what?" Alex sighed annoyingly, stopping where she was as she removed her goggles to examine the strap. The left-over adjustment had been cut, which irritated her, but she'd keep quiet since it could have been her head.
