"The enemy will be wary of you now Abel but I am the real target here. Just about all of my youth was spent in war and battle. I have many enemies that still roam this earth and some that are waking up again. I don't know if we will survive this to be honest." Shadow said as he smoked. Smoking offered Shadow nothing more than something to do with his hands. He would fidgit alot with out these things. If it wasn't for his imortality he wouldn't touch them.
Shadow saw what Satsuki did with the water and a small smile crept across his face. "Very nice!" he called to her.

Satsuki jumped slightly before she looked at Shadow and said "Thank you" She said in her usuall quiet voice. She still wasnt used to people telling her she did good or any type of compelement but she was able to keep consintration while talking to others.

"I have my fare share of enemies as well, within my travels I made many. I highly doubt that they would be here when we battle... " he trailed off. "From hearing about the size I am questioning survival as well." Abel gravely added. A smile suddenly crept to Abel's face. "Wonderful water magic my dear!" he called to Alice.

Shadow was glad to see aspiring mages. His own student had completed her training and now he had nothing to do anymore other than walk the grounds and prepair for war. It's not liek Shadow knew anything about other forms of magic though. "Keep it up Satsuki." he said to her.
"We all make enemies during our travels but I am sure you have not made as many as me. Lilith, the ultimate form of destruction. Nagash, the destroyer of empires. The Chaos gods that slowly waken... I think that is all the enemies I have left." Shadow said as he listed his remaining enemies that he knew of. "We have to get through this Abel. If he do not then... things will get bad." Shadow talent for understatment was incredible. The old powers could destroy this world with minimal effort. There was little hope and Shadow knew it but he was going to try and fend off the comming storms, even if it killed him.

Abel rubbed at his temples. All this battle and death talk was worrying him. "Pulling through will be a hard thing to do, you and I both know that. I'm unaware of anything we can do but watch and wait for this coming storm. I don't care if it kills me but I will defend with my life on the line." Abel said, he was unsure if he wanted Alice to hear him.

"We do have some allies. The older clans will stick with us till the end but the younger clans will only be with us through Lilith so we have a chance there. This place has been my home for the past hundred years. I will not let it fall." he said as his tone changed constantly, shirfting from worried to an almost heroic tone. In the end Shadow had no idea how things would end up. He could only hope that in the end everything would be fine. "Enough talk of battle and death. I think it is doing us more harm than good."

Satsuki made the cat start running along the surafe of the water all round the pool. She had just recently learned how to make the ice statues move and she was having fun with it.

Abel answered chuckling at his last remark. A heavy sigh escaped his lips. He really needed to talk to Vickilyn about more things than curing her blindness.

"So Abel. Have you managed to setlle down with anyone yet or are you still wandering around?" Shadow asked curiously trying to switch the conversation from battle and death to anything differant.
Shadow watched as Satsuki made the ice statue move. He was very impressed by this and wasn't afraid to et anyone know. "Very good Satsuki. Your getting good at this." he said.

Satsuki took a deep breath before she stoped moving her hands and made the cat move with only her mind to controll the cat. She made it jump out of the pool and cricle Shadow and Abel and she smiled.

He laughed lightly Shadow was trying to change the subject to something even more depressing subject he was to talk about it. Abel didnt mind it much but now that Bones had returned this was eating at his heart.

"So who is it that you have your eye set on?" Shadow asked. He would see this trhough till the end. Once he got curious there was just about no stopping him. Unless the subject was changed very quickly.
Shadow watched as the ice cat ran around. It was impressive and he couldn't help but wonder what Satsuki would be able to do with time and training.

"Vickilyn eh... It is a shame that she likes Bones. In all honesty I think she is moving to fast. She is just out of a relationship that didn't end to well... you did see her late husbands head in the dinnign room right? Well anyway I think she may be making the same mistake that I did with my now ex wife." Shadow said and let out a sigh. He spoke his mind once more and tried to take a draw of his cig but it had burnt out during their talking. "Great." he said to himself as he tossed it aside.

Satsuki kept her consintration and made a small ice kitten appear. It hopped onto abels head befor jumping onto Shadows before diving into the pool. When she heard Abels comment she giggled
