Pidgey looked over at Starley, glad to have the help. "Thank you!" she said in Pokemon. "Now let's give it our best!" She pumped her wings extra hard, inching Machi's foot upward. "Pidgey, Pidge!" she chirped up to Zachary and Charizard, meaning, "Help pull her up, please!" Pidgey  Type: Flying HP: 24/24 Level: 6 Gender: Female Attacks: Wing attack: 5 HP Takle: 3 HP Fly: takes 2 turns 6HP Peck: 3 HP Evolving lel: 16 1/10

Nova gave a quick and polite smile to Pidgey. “Starly Star!” she chirped, indicating that she was glad to be of assistance. She turned her attention back to Machi’s foot and pushed it harder than before. “Starly!” she chirped, stating that Zachary better help her up quickly.
Zachary grinned at the duo before he reached for Machi’s hands. Once he grabbed them, he gingerly started pulling her up as he struggled to stay balanced on the Charizard’s back.

Pidgey didn't give up until Machi was all the way up on Charizard, not wanting to take a chance of her falling again. She was getting a little tired but wouldn't stop until Machi's foot left her back. Nova glanced at Pidgey, quite impressed by her determination. She turned her attention back to Machi’s foot and pushed it up even harder, hoping not to disappoint Zachary and Pidgey’s efforts on saving the girl.
Once Zachary got Machi onto the Charizard’s back, he grinned down at the feathered duo. “Thanks guys. We’d be in big trouble if you hadn’t helped,” he stated, giving Machi a weak and somewhat tired grin. “You really need to hold on to Charizard, John, or I tighter. We don’t want you falling off again,” he scolded with a grin on his face as he grabbed hold of Charizard’s neck again.Nova the Starly

Pidgey chirpped happily, glad for the praise. She turned and flew up to land on Charizard's head again, a little tired now because of all the effort she'd used on helping Machi. She settled in and rested her wings. "Pidgey, Pidge," she said quietly, looking back at Machi, agreeing with Zachary. Nova chirped, quite confused about the situation. She sighed a moment later and flew down onto Zachary’s left shoulder, making herself comfortable on her favorite resting spot. She slowly turned to Zachary and nudged his cheek gently. “Starly star?” she questioned, curious as to why they where riding on a Charizard without Flames and Creampuff.
Zachary blinked before laughing lightly. He lessened his grip on the Charizard’s neck as he gave Nova a silly little grin. “Well… We need to get to a hospital quickly. Having more people and Pokemon on board of this Charizard will just slow things down,” he stated, sighing lightly as he furrowed his eyebrows together. He hoped Flames and Creampuff wouldn’t be too upset with him once they found out that Nova had been outside of her pokeball without them. Nova the Starly

Pidgey decided that she could sit backwards on Charizard's head without any problems, wanting to see how Zachary and Nova were getting along. "Your trainer seems really nice," she commented in Pokemon language, smiling and watching them talk back and forth. They looked like quite a team. Nova turned her attention back to Pidgey and gave her a bright and friendly grin. “Oh he really is. He gives Flames, Creampuff and I about three or so hugs daily,” she replied back in Pokemon language. She turned her attention back to Zachary and gave him an affectionate nudge.
Zachary blinked and laughed lightly as Nova continued to nudge him affectionately. “Aww! I love you too girl! But can you stop that for a moment? It’s ticklish,” he stated as he tried to keep his laugher in control. If Nova kept this up, Zachary might end up losing his grip on the Charizard's neck and fall off. Nova the Starly

Pidgey giggled, watching the two. "My keepers didn't hug us, but it sure looks like it would be fun," she said, watching. "I got lost on one of the flights back to home, that's why I'm not so wild like most of the other Pokemon." She went quiet for a moment, remembering. Nova stopped her nudging for a moment to gaze over at Pidgey. She gave a small frown and sighed slightly. “You poor thing…” she murmured quietly, looking over at her own trainer. She knew that’d she’d be devastated if she lost Zachary, Flames, or Creampuff. They were her one and only family now.
Zachary blinked, tilting his head slightly. He gazed at Nova curiously before turning his attention back to the Pidgey. He furrowed his eyebrows for a moment, curious as to what they were saying. His eyes widened as he remembered a similar event like this from the past. “...Hey, Pidgey, did you lose your trainer? You could with us for a while. We’ll help you search for them,” he offered, grinning at her weakly. He wasn't really sure if that was the Pokemon's problem or not. Nova the Starly

Pidgey tilted her head slightly to the side, not quite sure if she heard what she thought she heard from Zachary. "Do you mean it? Oh, that would be awesome!" she said, then hopped up and flew around excitedly, then landed on Zachary's other shoulder. "Thank you thank you thank you!" She nudged him as she had seen Nova do earlier, hoping that was ok. Zachary grinned and laughed lightly, slightly amused by the Pidgey’s nudging. “You’re welcome! …I think,” he stated smiling brightly before he gingerly let go of his grip on the Charizard’s neck. He paused, wanting to make sure that he was completely balanced, before he gingerly picked up Nova and Pidgey. “You guys almost forgot about your daily doses of hugging today!” he exclaimed childishly as he proceeded to hug the feathered duo gently.
Nova chirped quite happily, joyful that Zachary hadn’t forgotten to hug her today. She glanced over at Pidgey and smiled lightly. “Don’t worry. He’ll let go of us in five minutes if you’re feeling too uncomfortable…” she stated, wondering how Pidgey would react. Nova herself had just been quite amused by Zachary’s actions the first time he hugged her.

Pidgey grinned widely and tried hugging him back, but it didn't quite work out because her wings were pinned. She laughed a little anyway, glad she wasn't alone any more. "Pidge!" she said happily. Crow rubbed his chin as he looked over his first pokemon. "Hrm, you know, where I come from turtling isn't generaly a good thing..." He continued to stare at the small turtle-like creature, analyzing its body structure. Squirtle gave Crow a blank stare, unknowing of what to think of being sent away from Oak's lab and off with this strange looking human. In natural curiosity he made a quick dash and threw his body at Crow's leg in a tackle.Crow moved his leg accordingly, allowing the Squirtle to miss. He smiled as Squirtle spun around to face him again. "Well, at least you're aggresive. Water's not really my element, but I think I'm gonna like you." Crow extended his arm and wagged two fingers, signaling the Squirtle to come along. "Hrm, Squirtle, that's no good. What do you think of the name Shellshock?
