Her eyes shot wide open and she sat sttraight up. "Are you sick? What's wrong with you?! You won't die will you?! Please tell me you won't be leaving me to suffer alone!" she was having a panick attack. It was obvious.

Samuel tried to sit up, speaking in a weak voice: now he had gone and upset her..again. "N-now Yuki, c-calm d-down.." he murmured quietly, really wishing she hadn't said that last comment.

She was hyperventalating with panic as she laid back down still looking at Sam. She tried to calm down. "Pplease explain what happened to you." she said in a shaky voice.

Sam swallowed hard, thinking for a moment before looking at her seriously. "I-I'l only t-tell you i-if you p-promise to s-stay c-calm, no m-matter what I-I tell y-you..a-alright?" he said in his same soft voice, yet there was a firmness to it that let her know he was serious.

Her voice was still shaky but she was over the panic attack and was breathing steadily. "O-ok. -I pr-promise." shesaid. Now it was her turn to stutter.

Samuel took a deep breath and let it out slowly before he looked at Yuki, wondering what he should tell her. "W-well...a long time ago I was diagnosed with a terminal d-disease.." he paused for a moment: Yuki could tell he was being completely serious for he wasn't hardly stuttering now. "W-we don't know exactly what it is, b-but it has something to do with my h-heart and lungs.." Sam was watching Yuki carefully, studying her reaction to what he had just told her before he continued. "Th-they say that I'll be lucky if I see my t-twentith birthday..." his voice trailed off a bit as he continued to watch Yuki carefully.

The last sentance he said almost killed Yui. She wanted to break down and cry. Her eyes went flat. Her heart felt like it stopped. She almost was sure she wasn't breathing, but she klnew otherwise. "S-sam... h-how could y-you not.... w-want to l-live a g-good l-life? You l-let you m-mother beat on y-you, and y-you know y-you only h-have until t-the age of t-twenty. H-how could y-you do t-that t-to yours-self?" she looked like she was dead. All the blood rushed from her face. She was now paler thn the sheets she sat on. Her vision blurred as her eyes filled with tears.

Samuel watched Yuki worridly as he reached over to gently hold onto her hand again. "Y-yuki, I'm v-very happy.." he said quietly, pausing before he continued. "I-I love m-my mother v-very much, a-and I have f-friends who c-care about me.." he trailed off slightly before looking at her again. "Wh-what more c-could I p-possibly want?" he asked.

"O-oh, I-I don't k-know, m-maybe for your m-mother to stop h-hurting you and possibly a w-wife of whatever." she said. She was stuttering because of her past panick atack. She wanted to smash his mother into the wall until she understood how painful it is for everyone around Sam to not want to kill her, but she kept that to herself.

Samuel frowned. "Y-yuki, I l-love my m-mother.." he said: he never liked it when someone talked about his mother. "I-I don't m-mind if sh-she hurts m-me, i-it's not r-really her f-fault.." he said before giving a quiet sigh.

"s-so what are y-you s-saying?! T-That it-s y-yours?! I think not!" she said. her stuttering was dying down a bit which meant she was almost fully healed from the panic attack. The nurse came in and unhooked the tube. She smiled at the fact that they were holding hands as she left the room, again, shutting the door.

Samuel blinked a bit before slowly shaking his head. "N-no, it's th-the man wh-who raped m-my mother's f-fault." he said, puffing out his cheeks a bit when he had finished talking. He watched the nurse come and go, his slender fingers still curled around Yuki's hand.

She couldn't help but gigile at his face. "S-sorry. That was a f-funny f-face." she said between gigles. "But why does s-she t-take it out on you S-Sam?" she asked. "Can-t s-she just f-find him and get him arres-arssted?"
