*Dreamcloud hadn't much idea what was going on. She went back inside the cave and found another way out, trotting quickly to Sepsis. She woke the mare up and spoke quickly but quietly.*
Sepsis, you've got to get rid of Casper's body, Evander is becomming enraged by it, I don't know why..But you've got to turn his body to ashes like you did with Freebird.
*Sepsis had stood and looked warily at her foal, who was still curled up sleeping.*
I'll watch after her, don't worry..You have to do something, though, otherwise somebody may be killed...Keep your distance from Evander!
*Dreamcloud went and laid down next to Moonstruck who needed all the warmth she could get, her tiny body not lined with much fat for warmth and insulation.*
*Sepsis walked slowly towards Evander and the dead body. She stood about 10 feet away from Evander and took a deep breath, exhaling quickly and forcefully the body moved slightly away, she repeated this until it had moved a foot at least. and carefully lowered her head, watching Evander cautiously. She bit his skin hard. It was cold and unplesant. She hesitantly licked the wound, salivating heavily. She slowly moved away, and as she got a few feet away Casper's body becan to dry up. His coat dulled and the fur turned to ashes, leaving bare skin and no mane or tail. His skin then turned to ashes, following any blood left in his veins and lastly all of his cold, shut-down organs. She watched the last bit of his still heart and still lungs fade away and left behind was a perfectly formed, horse-shaped pile of ashes. It was eerie and unsettling.*

Evander hissed and lunged for Sepsis with lightning speed, but Ghost was quicker. Evander felt the coldest thing he had ever felt hit his face with amazing force, leaving glowing ice-blue hoofprint on the side of his face. He stumbled sideways before his venomous fangs could reach Sepsis and he looked around hastily for what had hit him that hard. His came to rest on Ghost who had his back to him, but was watching him, his ears pinned back and his teeth bared. "Evander, STOP IT!" he roared at him. 'It's going to take more than one hit to bring him back to his senses...' he thought to himself.
Evander screamed, but didn't lunge for Ghost, something stopped him. Perhaps the bond between him and and the lead stallion stopped him, or perhaps it was the fact that Ghost was almost the exact oppostie of himself: His powers granted him ice-cold attacks and invisibility, while he was fiery hot and powerful. Either way, he refrained from attacking Ghost, although his instinct was about overwhelming.

Kipcha struggled to stand, but finaly managed with a loud grunt. She flicked her tail uneasily wanting to go stand by Ghost yet knowing better than to move. She looked at Evander wondering why he hadn't attacked Ghost, but glad that he hadn't. "Ghost...." She whispered not wanting to draw Evander's attention.

*Sepsis jerked back as Evander lunged, more frightened than she had ever been and leapt backwards, agile even in her tired state. She bounded back to Moonstruck and Dreamcloud, nudging her filly awake.*
Your welcome to come with me, Dreamcloud, but I'm getting the hell out of here for now...I could have been killed...
*Moonstruck awakened and slowly stood up, not yet used to walking or standing. Sepsis hurried her along, making her clumsier than ever, as Sepsis walked quickly away, towards the jungle, Moonstruck could only walk as fast as her long, unstable legs would carry her. She stopped after a while, falling down and bleated for her dam, wanting to sleep and not have to go anywhere. Sepsis hurridly trotted back to her and encouraged her to stand once again, nudging her sides. Moonstruck turned and began to nurse and protested, bleating like that of a lamb and falling down again when Sepsis pulled away, desperately wanting to get away from Evander.*

Diamond watched in horror as Evander lunged for Sepsis. She tossed her head and pinned her ears back her eyes rolling in fear. She couldn't get up, as she was so frightend and she layed her front hooves stretched out before pushing her hind legs up struggling. She backed away into the corner and into the darkness, frightend.

*Sepsis walked slowly in a panic, keeping in stride with Moonstruck who concentrated deeply on each step. She looked back every couple of seconds, even though Evander and the others stood hundreds of yards away.*
*Dreamcloud stood, alert but not panicey and watched Evander and Ghost's struggle.*

Ghost stood before Evander, just a foot or so away from him, his ears pinned and his teeth bared. He spoke to him telepathically. 'Come on, Evander, it's me, Ghost! Wake up!' He yelled through his mind. He glanced back quickly at the mares, then back at Evander.
Evander snorted, trying to shake the voice from his mind. He glanced out onto the plains to see Sepsis and Moonstruck walking quickly away. He shook his head, baring his fangs, then looked back at Ghost and hissed. His sharp ears picked up on Kipcha's whisper and his eyes shot to her. He growled and lunged for her.
Ghost screamed and struck Evander in the face again with such force it knocked the 17hh stallion right off his feet. Ghost turned to face him and bared his teeth. "Don't you EVER attack my mare again!!" He roared at him.
Evander struggled to his feet and, hissing, lunged for Ghost, but by the time he reached where Ghost should have been, there was nothing but air. He heard someone whisper behind him. "I hate to do this, but I have no choice..." He whipped around and fear came to his eyes.
Ghost standing behind him with icy mist surrounding his hooves and legs and a blinding white light surrounding him, illuminating the entire cave and the plains outside. His eyes had become extremely light blue and his coat was almost transparent white. He reared, then whipped around and delt a crushing blow to Evander's neck, leaving a searing white mark. Evander fell to the ground and just lay there motionless, his eyes slowly returning to normal as he lay on the cold ground, breathing hard.

Diamond watched the fight and when Evander lunged for Kipcha she whinnied to Kipcha to get out of the way. She watched Ghost, speechless as he knocked Evander down from the darkness. Looking in Evander's eyes from the darkness she slowly and quietly walked out of the darkness and over to Kipcha. She looked at Ghost fear still in her eyes. "Is--is--he alright?" Diamond asked, lightly.

Kipcha shied away and pressed herself against the wall. She flicked her ears about and rolled her eyes. She was frightened and it clearly showed, she couldn't calm herself. She kept herself against the wall, breaking out into a sweat that did nothing but give her chills as it cooled on her hot skin. Her nostrils flared and she was unsure wether she should be more scared of Ghost or Evander.

Ghost sighed and looked up at Diamond. "Yes, he's fine, just stunned, and he should return to normal after that. I've never had to do that to him until now....he attacked Kipcha...I wasn't about to let him take away from me what I care about most.." he said quietly. He snorted, leaving Evander on the cave floor to regain his composure, and returned back to Kipcha. Worry filled his eyes when he saw Kipcha in her frightened state. He approached her slowly, his wings folded tightly against him back, and nuzzled her neck gently. "It's okay, it's okay, love...." He said quietly to her, trying to calm her.
Evander finally shook himself into reality and looked around nervously. He saw Diamond standing over him. He tried to lift his head, but a searing pain in his neck restrained him from doing so. He winced in pain and lay back down, snorting. "Ghost?" He inquired quietly.

Kipcha flinched away from his nuzzle, tossing her head and eyeing him cautiously. It took only a second before she was leaning against him, falling to peices. "Ghost...Ghost..." Her voice trembled, being no more than a whisper at first, as she shivered from the drying sweat. Her sides twitched rapidly.

Ghost lowered his neck over hers and draped a wing over her. "It's alright...." he whispered comfortingly to her. He rubbed his head against her neck and his wing against her side. He lifted his head slightly. "You're shivering...aw, hun, calm down, it's okay..." He said and continued rubbing his head and wing against her.
Evander shakily got to his feet and looked around, like a shy colt. He looked over at Ghost and Kipcha and decided to let them be for now. He looked up at Diamond and saw the fear in her eyes. He looked out of the cave's mouth to see Sepsis and her filly walking towards the jungle. And lastly, he saw Dreamcloud, alert, but not frightened. 'How can she not hate me now?' he thought to himself.

She let out a deep breath. A pain seared through her stomach and she kicked at it with a back hoof. She would have been worried about being in labor except for the fact that she knew the pain wasn't strong enough. "Ghost...Ouch!" The pain came again and she winced.

Ghost lifted his head slightly. "Hm?" He replied softly. He lifted his head completely and looked at the othe two mares and Evander. He addressed the mares first. "Dreamcloud? Could you run and tell Sepsis that it is okay to return now? And Diamond, you can go back to sleep, everything's fine. You look exhausted." He said with a smile. He then addressed Evander. "You completely lost control over yourself. For the sake of everyone, don't ever do that again. You almost killed Sepsis, Kipcha, and me. Sorry about having to kick you...You feel okay?" He asked him, his wing still draped over Kipcha.
Evander found Ghost's eyes and his own were full of remorse as he told him what happened. "I-I'm truly sorry, to everyone. I rarely get so out of control. I promise it won't happen again...Yeah...I feel alright. You kicked me hard..." He said in his raspy voice, shifting uneasily. He glanced up at Dreamcloud, then looked back at the cave floor.

Kipcha looked cautiously towards Evander, still not trusting him yet. She flicked her ears back, otherwise settled, the last chills from the sweat gone and the foal settling again for a moment. It wouldn't be long now, not long at all. Her last birth started off with the same dull pains for nearly a week before she gave birth, this time she hoped it wouldn't be so long. "A week only a week left." She mumbled to herself before shaking her mane out, facing Evander with a guarded look.
