Soul blinked a moment. That... made sense. A lot of sense. Deciding to forgo the tried and true 'who are you and what have you done with' joke, he merely turned around and nodded. "Market's this way. I'll get the cart." He muttered as he headed the direction of the markets, before breaking off into a full-fledged run. One of the main things to take note of is that they were working with limited time. It wouldn't be too long before G.U.N. took full control of the situation and started to comb the streets. They had a half an hour, tops, unless Eggman did something insane.

Margy grinned widely, rather proud of her intelligent--and almost non-Margy like--comment.
"Margy learned lots of smart things from...from somewhere." Margy said as her dense nature came back to her. "Margy can't remember what the place was, but she does know that it wasn't school--something different, definately something different."
Watching Soul as he grabbed onto the cart as he headed towards the market, Margy quickly turned and ran after him--flailing her arms excitedly.
"Kaay!!" Margy called out as she chased after her hedgehog friend. "We're going shopping--shopping, shopping--Margy and Soul-kun are going shopping." Margy cheered out, for no particular reason at all.
"So what are we going to get? Huh Soul-kun?" Margy questioned a second later. "Should we make a listen or just grab what we want, or or or--ohh! What's that?!" Margy squeaked and ran off ahead of Soul without a second thought.

Soul ran after her without too much avail, but he did manage, "Grab food that'll last and only SOME snacks, please!" He shouted before heading into the Super Market. As he ran through the halls, he slid down the soda isle first and loaded up on his favorite sodas, and then headed toward the canned goods. As he ran around he passed by a promotional area where he stared at a certain object for a long time - letting Margy run back and forth, loading whatever foods she pleased into the cart as he looked at the object in question. "That...." He muttered, "Is one hella nice computer...." He mumbled, toying with the prospect of taking it. He didn't need it. He probably wouldn't use it much when these girls were around. But the were already stealing and it was a slippery slope and only some rich guy who could to well with just a word processor would buy one like this and!

"MARGY! MORAL DILEMMA! NEED INPUT! STAT!" Soul shouted, as to bring Margy in for her take on the matter.

Running about the market at full speed--slowing down only long enough to drop something into the basket, Margy quickly collected the items that she wanted. One of them was two half gallons of a pink lemonade looking drink.
"Yay! Strawberry Kiwi Life juice!" she squealed happily, as she placed it in the basket, apperantly it was one of her favorite things when it came to drinks.
Stomping her feet onto the ground, the sound of a soft screeching could be heard as Margy slowly skid to a stop from her previous speed.
"Hiquuu?" the hyperactive hamster question, making her way back over towards her hedgehog friend.
"Hai Soul-kun?" Margy asked, tilting her head to the side. "What is it? Huh? Did Soul-kun find somethin---Oooh! A computer!" she exclaimed, figuring out the answer for herself. Staring at the computer that Soul-kun had found for a bit longer, Margy blinked and glanced back towards her friend.
"Is Soul-kun going to get it, or thinking about it?" she questioned, glancing between the two.

Soul shook his head, completely unsure of what to do. "I have no idea. I don't want to steal it, but the piece of crap back home is a fire hazard. Not to mention it can't even go on the internet without crashing more then half the time. And I could do stuff on this, like write, play games... stuff I could do when I was home..." He muttered. He really missed everything back at home a lot. He even missed yelling at the idiots who sometimes came over, even if some of them were just a means to be with other friends. Necessary evils. He sighed and looked over to Margy. "Stealing is a slippery slope. I don't really need it, and yet... I kinda do need it. But not in the way I need food." He tried explaining this better, but was at a loss.

Margy stared at the computer for a bit, before tilting her head to the side and pondering about the dilemma that they found themselves in.
"a fire-hazard is never a good thing." Margy said as she stared at the computer. "But Margy doesn't know if she can make the people who kept stock of the computer believe that they had one less--especially if it's out in the open like dis.." she explained, giving her head a bit of a scratch as she continued attempting to figure out a solution.
"Food is easier than computers, it's something that people would easily look over when it came to a few things missing.." Margy mumbled out and tilted her head to the side.
"Margy isn't sure... taking it be easy..but getting other people to believe that we bought it won't be easy." she mumbled out. "it very confuzzling yesh."
She seemed just as unsure as he was.

Soul shook his head. "While we may be getting away with it by taking care of the inventory sheets, the fact remains many more more people are going to come in here and take stuff before the owners - or heck, even the police come back. They prey on Dr. Robotnik's attacks. Thing is, this computer isn't going to be here whether we take it or not." He explained. "My dillemma is... do I want to be the one who actually takes it? Explaining it would be easy enough. I can just say my parents or some other reletive bought it for me." He explained. "Or hell, you or Steph. There are tons of ways to explain it." He muttered. "Ugh, why do I have a mind so useful for criminal activity when I don't want to do criminal stuff!"
PostPosted: Wed Jun 10, 2009 11:28 pm

Glancing back towards the computer, Margy's round ears began to to twitch as she considered their options. They could take it, or leave it--either way, by the time the owners got back...it'd be gone.
"Quuu..." She tapped her finger on her chin for a moment, pondering about it for a bit longer.
"Take it!" Margy said suddenly, pointing at the computer. "Margy can be the mastermind," she nodded quickly. "Or something like that."
Margy always was fond of evil things, so being a mastermind behind something actually sounded rather fun to her.
Walking over to the computer--before Soul could even say another word-the hyperactive hamster carefully picked up the fragile electronic device and carried it back over towards the basket.
"Besides--Soul-kun has a reason for getting ride of the fire-hazard." she added in a second later.

"I suppose that's true." He said, relieved to have come to a decision. It wasn't morally right, but it was better them to take it then someone who would probably just sell it to make money or do demeaning things with it. In any scenario... this was probably the best one. "Hopefully..." He muttered under his breath, glad Stephanie wasn't around to hear him - or take witness of theft, really. In any case, he motioned for Margy that they needed to leave. "Did you change the inventory yet?" He asked, wondering if the speedy hamster had already taken care of it. It was her plan, after all.

Gently placing the computer into the basket, Margy looked up towards her friend and gave a quick nod.
"Uh-huh Uh-huh...all but this one." She said, pointing at the computer. With that said, the hyperactive hamster turned around on her heel and dashed off towards the inventory section of the super market once again.
Once inside of the inventory, she began to tap away at the computer that stored the market's lists and information about it's stock.
"Lets see..." Margy said, clicked away a bit more. "One less computer in the inventory--change it from this to that and done! Yay!!" She cheered out happily, and quickly dashed out of the room once again--shutting the door behind her to make it look like the room was still undisturbed.
"Done!!" the hyperactive hamster cheered out as she slammed on the brakes and skid to sudden stop once again. "Inventory all changed and fixed." she grinned widely, quite proud of herself.
"We done shopping now, or do we have more stuff to gets?" she questioned a second later.

"We're done. Food, and it looks like a computer." He said, wheeling the cart out with him. As they went across the parking lot, Soul hummed a familiar tune, which he did subconsciously. The fun thing was, it was the Super Mario Brothers theme, which seemed just ironic, given the circumstances. The cart rolled and bumped along as they went, and Soul subconsciously made the note that it would be best to stash the cart somewhere close, less they need to go grocery shopping again - and actually pay for stuff next time.

"Kaay!!" Margy lulled out happily, before throwing up her arms for no reason at all and dashing ahead of Soul and the cart. Running for a bit longer, Margy stopped for a second and seemed to blink--as if pondering something.
"Do we need baggies?" she questioned curiously, glancing over towards Soul for a moment. Her question had good intentions, but it probably would have been much more helpful if she had asked before they left the super market--not afterward.
"Den again..we can just carry up large arm fulls--uh-huh!" Margy said with a few nods, before quickly dashing ahead of the cart once again--as far as she concerned--it made perfect sense.

Soul got to a running start before leaping on the back of the cart and riding it forward. They were at a slight downward incline, so he didn't lose speed, and actually started going faster. Soul tended to do this every time he made his way to the end of the parking lot - but this time, he just kept going into the street. With no cars, the city was sort of like an odd ghost town. Sounds of far off fighting and cars could be heard, echoing down the streets of Station Square.

Soul pondered the fact that it seemed that only he and Margy remained in this section of the city. Maybe everyone else knew more then they did. Wait... no, that couldn't be right. It's the fact Soul knew more here. He knew this wasn't an attack on the city - but a declaration. Speaking of which... he hadn't heard it yet - meaning that when Eggman did, the city would remain in it's ghost like state for a few days. Surely, those who didn't leave would of ransacked much. Or would. G.U.N. was mobilizing it's units. The time frame Soul had put in place still stood. They had 15 minutes to get home. Hopefully Margy would fall back soon, as Soul had an idea to get home in time, as well as direct the hamster to just where they were going. He doubted the hyper-active animal knew where his house was already.

Slowly down after a few minutes, the hyperactive hamster spun around on her heel and quickly dashed back towards Soul--fully aware that she once again forgot hot to get home. It usually took a few turns as well as a few symbols to remember how to get back from where she started--however, stuff like never stayed when she was excited like she was now.
"These place is veerrryyy empty Soul-kun." Margy said as she met up with her friend once again. "It had lots of people, now it has none...except for two."
Spinning around in a circle for a moment, Margy looked about the area that they were in, before looking towards the cart and seeming to think about something.
Must remember--make no mention of being a mastermind to family... she thought to herself. Family...margy wonders how their doing... she fell silent for a moment and simply stared ahead as her brain ran over the memories of her family--as well as all the pets that she was used to sharing the house with. Compared to her house, Soul-kun's house was rather lonely--but she wasn't going to make any kind of comment like that.
"Nope nope nope." she said randomly and deciding to leave it at that.

"Yeah, it is pretty deserted. I kind of like it that way, though. I'm used to living in a small, sleepy town. Big towns... I'm still not used to it all." He explained as the cart came to a halt and he hopped off. "Anyway, Margy, we need to be getting to my house real quick here. Seeing how you are really fast, I think it's a good idea that you push the cart. I'll ride up in front and point out where we should be going, okay?" As he did so, he was walking toward the front end of the cart, looking at the bottom bar as he did so. If they didn't want people riding their carts like this, they shouldn't of made it so easy to. "And uh... do watch out for bumps and stuff."
