 A love deprivation
I've got a jet black heart
It's all ******** up and it's falling apart
Miyuki's sigh echoed Damiens. When they were growing closer to the broken up appartments they had destroyed she raised her head and sniffed the air. She shivered at the scent, it was a mixture -- her own blood sinking into the wood, as well as Lidi's -- that blended into one powerful revolting smell, but she couldn't sense any aura. Not even the boys. The boy.. it brought her memories back, she hadn't had much time to concentrate on what had happened, but she remembered his aura, heavy, thick, almost choking back her breath, it could have crushed them. She shivered. What was that...

Damien jumped out of the forest happily. He was immediately hit by the powerful scent of blood and he recoiled with a hiss. He recognized the blood as Miyuki and Lidi's and calmed down. He remembered what had happened and shivered at the thought of the demon that had posessed the boy. He scanned the area to make sure that nobody was around, he found nothing. "Where are we going?" he asked quietly as if making sure some unseen enemy could not hear.

Miyuki shook her head, turning sideways to face him. "I can't feel them... Or anyone." She stated softly with a frown. "I guess they don't need saving, does that mean we go after Ryuu?" She sighed, looking up at the starry sky. "I don't know if I could kill him..." She raised her hand to her neck, her arm shaking slightly. "Even after the pain.."

Damein watched Miyuki then looked up at the night sky and mimiced her sigh. "Are you frightened by him?" he asked, carefully choosing his words so she wouldn't be offended by what he asked. He could tell that Miyuki was reluctant to go after Ryuu. "I said I wouldn't kill him, but I never said I wouldn't hunt him," he turned his head to look at Miyuki. "If you don't want to kill him, we could go find Lidi," or the boy.

Miyuki tilted her head. "I'm right here." She looked at him skeptically, assuming his worry cause him the grief and misspeaking. She took a cautious step closer to him and smiled even though her body was shaking. "I'm fine, he scares me not, I was worried about--" She stopped, she was afraid to speak the rest, afraid her words would jinx them.

"What frightens you?" he asked then tilted his head. He gathered Miyuki's hands in his and started to play with her fingers. "If you're worried about him killing you, then you don't have to worry. I won't allow it."

Miyuki smiled, and couldn't resist. She crushed herself against him, snuggling into his arms a half sob choked into her throat. "I don't care if I die.. I thought...I thought.." She hesitated, her grip on her shirt tightening as she breathed him in, everything from the tips of his soft, white wings, to his perfectly sculpted face. She gathered herself, refusing to shed a tear. "You shouldn't have risked your life for me.. I thought he was going to kill you."

Damien wrapped one arm around Miyuki's shoulder and one around her tiny waist. "Shh, don't cry," he said tenderly. "He won't kill me. He can't kill me." He moved his arm up to Miyuki's head and started to rock her back and forth slowly. He buried his head in Miyuki's head. "Dang girl! You need a shower!" he said as he pulled away with a disgusted look on his face and his tongue hanging out.

.Forever... Lidi continued to face ahead as Jake spoke, and only one real thought crossed her mind while he spoke: What does he mean by 'money has become a rarity'? The second Jake stopped talking, Lidi sighed and turned around a corner, stopping to lean against a wall. Currently she was pushing herself too much. "Well," she started, crossing her arms, "just what has happened that has made money so rare?" She glanced to him, seemingly relaxed and unexhausted. ...Together.

Miyuki winced at his words. "Is it that bad?" She asked innocently. He seems perfect in every way.. She could feel the corners of her lips slowly falling into a frown, she refused to let him go. "We can wash up later right.." She asked, her voice soft, almost reserved. "He can kill you.." She bit her lip softly. Knowing full well she couldn't cry, but human habits died hard. Her eyes stung as her body tried to produce tears, with no luck. She slammed them shut, trying to reduce the pain. "Its not that hard to kill an angel.." She mused, still holding her eyes shut, she could picture perfectly in her head her last fight with any angel. And that angel was no longer roaming the street, but she fought back saying this to him knowing it would only drive him away.

Damien smiled and tightened his hug. "It's not that bad," he whispered into Miyuki's hair. He just melted when he saw her like this, she was so cute when she was worrying over him. Damien smiled and laughed softly. "Don't worry, he'll never kill me," he whispered.

Ryuu quietly stalked out of the cottage. The scent of blood flooded from within the room, and he had to get away from it before his blood-lust caused him to drink it all back down. He kept all his senses as alert as he could at this famished stage, which wasn't much. He slowly made his way into the woods. His eyesight was starting to go blury, and all his thoughts started to become scrambled. No, not yet. He shook his head violently as if he could shake his blood-lust out. He growled, annoyed at his own weakness as he continued through the woods. He could not sense anything withing a 10-foot radius around him, but still he felt unsafe. He was in no condition to fight, and he could not sense someone if they weren't within 10 feet from him. He quickly scanned the area for any living creature. 2 deer, 10 birds, and 3 squirrels.
His head was begining to throb at a new level, and he could barely think now. The deer will have to do. he thought, as he silently made his way towards the deer. His feet made no sound above the dead leaves he stepped on, and he managed to get within 10 yards of a large buck. He crouched down, and eyed his prey. Only enought energy for one serious pounce. This had better work.
He darted out of the undergrowth, and ran towards the buck. The deer's head shot up, and once it spotted Ryuu, it turn around, and ran. Before it could move 1 foot, Ryuu held it in an inescapable grip. He barely thought of what he did as he bit into the buck's thraot. The warm blood that trickled down his throat sent chills of pleasure down his back. The deer's blood that usually tasted horrible in Ryuu's mouth tasted like fine wine. He drank every last drop of the deer's blood before finally letting the deer drop to the ground. Ryuu could feel himself panting from the effort of ambushing the buck with so little energy. Slowly, he could feel his energy returning to him. His senses alerted, and he felt safe once he couldn't detect anyone within a 1-mile radius around him. He sighed deeply, and headed off into the direction of the cabin.
That wasn't the best drink I ever had, but that will do. I'm in no condition to fight, and I have to rest up. I'll head out to the town later and find some more prey when I feel better. Ryuu pondered on such thoughts on his way back.

"Let's just say, I didn't exactly have much time to grab money when I left home," His reply was vague, but he could tell that the girl would want to hear more. Were she a human, he would not even consider divulging the truth. He knew any normal person would fear his curse, but she wasn't human, "Do you remember before when I touched that girl? I could tell you noticed my headache, it always precedes them."

Miyuki shook her head. "How can you be so confidant.." She coughed releasing the knot in her throat and took a deep breath. "Ups of being a vampire." She murmured, raising one of the hands that had been wrapped around him. "Once you run out of tears, your body no longer produces them." She rubbed her eye and shook her head. "We have to find those two people don't we? Isn't it part of your 'angel's duty' or something?" She looked sideways when she said 'angel' it still made her sick. She smiled picturing the angel she had left dead when she was just a new born-- or new dead for lack of words-- vampire. But it wasn't long after that she found a nice home, with a science lab. She shivered, pulling herself from her thoughts, not quite sure he had said anything she looked up. "Huh?"

.Forever... Lidi listened, annoyed with the reply since it didn't really answer anything other than the fact that he either ran away or was forced out of town. He continued on and she nodded, letting him know she understood. "So what? You get a headache every time you touch someone?" And turn into some demon thing? She added afterwards, guessing he probably didn't know he turned into a demon. If he did, than he would probably admit that he would turn into one. If not, than he either didn't want to tell or already knew. ...Together.
