It seemed Sai and Ratsu had their own hands tied at the moment, so at least Nana was granted a break to gather her nerves. Mastema heard Tegral announced clearly, and was obviously familiar with the obsessive general. Tegral would detect no attempt to hide away from him, becuase Mastema was staring right back at him, impassively, as he approached.
Thanatos sighed, making no attempt to acknowledge Kah's existence, and drew his metal arm behind his lower back. Than's muscles flexed a little before he drank about half of his remaining punch. Was he going to show up or not.....
-----
"Twilight. Leader of the Black Company." Twi would introduce himself and present his invitation just as suddenly as he'd popped up in front of the doormen. Either the two had spaced out for a moment, or Twi was just popping up like a daisy. Twi would grin lightly to Baptistian, having met him when Val made his little frontal complaint. "My weapons are at home..."

"!!? *ahem* ...Welcome. You may proceed." Needless to say neither Bertuccio or Baptistain could see Twilight until he said something. He appeared quickly and quietly. Baptistain reccognized the man from earlier. "Back again huh?" After the brief exchange, Bertuccio would introduce Twilight to the rest of the guests. "Introducing-- Twilight, Leader of the Black Company." The man was free to enter the building, now that his invitation was received.

Ah-- hnn...
*Feeling a little out of place, Nana would take a sip of her punch while turned away from the others. Mastema seemed to have company on the way, as did Than. There were several other people here but Nana didn't know who she might like to try talking to first. About that time, Twilight was announced. Nana would turn her gaze towards the entry way, neither Nana nor Phia had seen Twilight in a long time. If Nana could get a word with him, she could make mention that Phia missed him and wanted to see him again*

KB snorted to himself quietly at the mention of Twilight's title, muttering the word traitor as he turned back to Than. Tegral and his goons could wait for awhile, as could the other people at the party. For the moment, KB simply wanted to speak with Than for a moment. Moving towards the reclusive young man, KB nodded to the cup before coming to a stop before the man, glancing curiously at the eye. "How're you feeling Than? It's been awhile..." KB asked genuinely, his quirky nature seeming to take a step back for the moment.

Ratsu had already moved away from Sai and was leaning in a corner coughing into a black hand kerchief before wiping the corners of his mouth and folding it. He hated when the other took over, however briefly because of the strain it placed on him. Though the black handkerchief was able to hide the color of blood from his fit of coughing, it was unable to hide the smell. Anyone with advanced senses would easily be able to recognize the smell of one that was both elderly and dying. Ratsu sighed, he had not lived a bad life, but even as a healer he could only extend it so far before his body began to break down on itself. He laughed and muttered softly, I won't give in to you yet you b*****d, you'd love it if I dropped dead at a place like this wouldn't you? As he spoke softly to himself he stood straight slowly, his back aching with the effort as he decided that if he was almost out of time he would at least look dignified when he died. He sighed and moved to get a cup of water and make his way around the various entertainment while studying the attendees. There were many powerful people in this region, and if he wished to prepare his master to act in the area he would need to gather what information he could before dying. An action in a place like this would require extreme forethought and proper contingencies in place for all eventualities. He smiled as his mind began to churn and he said softly, Almost makes me wish I was young again.

Having been denied the chance at conversation with someone new Kah glared daggers at KB's back and sent a low powered relay to Rookin, who was now turning towards the former figure head. Standing a bit dejected the cybernetic woman turned away from her potential source of entertainment for the evening and wandered through the party. So far her night just plain sucked.
Rookin, having received Kah's transmission, turned away from the hacking man in the corner he had been about to approach and started towards him. Seems the little heretic was to be found with a rather emo, (Emo?) looking young man against a far wall of the establishment. Because of the distance from the actual gathering of the people the space opened provided both Than and KB with a fine field of vision, the fact that Rookin damn near shone in his silvery armor added to his 'look at me' effect. Whether either of the pair saw him, KB's back turned to him and likely Than's attention fixated on the godless heathen, was really of no concern as Rookin had been ordered to find KB and deliver the object without folly, and so he would.
Tegral approached Mastema in much the same way he approached his friends, with neither an expression nor a word of greeting. Standing there, he sized the lord of the Citadel up and was ashamed of what he saw. Pitiful and girly to boot, Mastema had all the characteristics one would see in a gothic homo, what with his long black hair and leather bound attire. Pitiful b*****d. Without regard of being rude or intruding in on the conversation Tegral said, very plainly, "Mastema?"
Whether or not Mastema would recognize the Admiral, though it wasn't hard to figure out who he was regardless of recognition since his announcement pit him as either Tegral, Rookin, or Kah and of the three only the Admiral himself would have business to attend to with the Lord of the Citadel.
Garbed in a sharp black tuxedo, Tegral's black dress shoes polished until they shone like dark mirrors, the Admiral looked fitted for any formal ball and with the exception of a few others present put the rest to shame for 'black tie' affairs. He stood a well built height of six foot five and had a muscular frame that made the front of his creamy white undershirt strain against his pectoral muscles. Under each flap of his dress jacket, as apparent when ever he extended his arm out, a pair of empty holsters were in evidence and were only that way so that he might gain admittance to the party. Though in truth the lack of weapons did little to concern the Admiral who was very confident in his ability to crush all of these little whelps with great ease.

A lone figure suddenly appeared among the flowers, garbed in a black hooded cloak the figure moved forward, red eyes could be seen from a distance as it approached and bowed before the doorman saying softly, I am Ka'rinth, tender of the Farm. I have heard there is a festive event occuring and wished to join. I believe this is what is required? As he spoke he held an invitation out, though none would have seen his retrieval of it, it was an exact duplicate to the others. He had made it when he first received the invitation brought by his familiar. Red eyes glowed softly as he said, Is there anything of importance I need to learn before entering or during my time here? Truthfully he already had knowledge of the event and what it required yet he was quite curious how they would classify his weapons or rather the fact that he was in many respects a weapon.

*Kaiori makes her way over to grab a drink, a somber sway in her hips. She tosses her hair over her shoulder and lets out a soft sigh as her new muscles flex under the fabric of the dress. Her pretty blue eyes show that she isn’t very much into the mood for a party. Bell and Griffin discuss in private for awhile longer, later they might approach another party of people but currently they are satisfied talking to each other. Bell held no feelings for anyone in the room really, but Griffin felt as if he knew everyone a little too well.*

*Spotting Kaiori off by herself, Nana decided it might be nice to say hello again. The first time they had met in the Citadel, something was happening to Kaiori so she didn't want Nana too close. Perhaps in this setting things would go a little smoother. Nana would place a hand on Mastema's arm before heading towards Kaiori to let him know she was going to go mingle a bit. It wouldn't be too long before both women were side by side*
^__^
H-hello again.

Twi snorted, knowing it was pretty much only a title that he'd used. It was technically true.... although there wasn't much of a Black Company left. Twi just laughed and waved lightly to Baptistian in response to his comment. "I guess I am. And don't worry, lugnut shouldn't be stopping by today."
Than noticed that someone was approaching him, but the moment KB came into the picture that same person seemed to back off. Perhaps Than would pursue her after KB was done with to see what was the matter with her. "Biding my time," was the answer KB received. Just a cursory glance would show Than was blind; that didn't need to be explained, and his augmented stature made it obvious he hadn't lounged in a chair for the last year. "My younger brothers and sister were actually able to celebrate their second birthday without worrying about some outside attack by you, your lapdog, or otherwise notorious people. My condolences on your own misfortune." Than grinned to himself, drinking the last of his punch and placing the empty cup beside him. "Pardon me but I'd appreciate it if you step back about 5 meters if the one coming at us is after you."
Tegral would receive a somewhat laid back smirk from Mastema. It was easy to see Tegral was disappointed at this being the man who'd caused his army such grief. "The one and the same." Mastema extended his white gloved hand to the general. If anyone was going to start a skirmish here, it would be Tegral.

"Younger brothers and sister...?" KB asked, before nodding with a warm smile. "Oh yes! I remember now, one's about yeigh-high, right?" He asked, holding his hand somewhere around Eecheb's old height. "I remember he sure liked to hit things." KB reflected thoughtfully with another nod, and a light chuckle. The warring aside, it was nice that the two could be civil and discuss the siblings. KB had always been recklessly violent and at once helplessly peaceful.
Of course at the mention of someone coming after him, KB would turn to face the approaching Rookin. Than needed hid space to 'bide his time' and was more or less the Squall of their party, just waiting to be dragged off by someone who wouldn't put up with his gloomy attitude. "Well, Ciao!" KB called cheerily as he waved, his head cocking to the side before he twirled away and moved to meet up with the gruff armored man.
"Hiya!"

"The Admiral," Rookin began, drawing from a simple leather ruttsack a small rectangular device, "Bids that you keep this on your persons. He says you may have need of it." A cell phone, plain and simple, with a flip front and silver keys. If KB was any sort of paranoid he'd check the thing for a bomb, rightly so since Tegral was more than happy to put a small bomb into the thing and direct a good half kiloton worth of explosions straight through the figure head's...well head. But, alas, if KB was expecting such a blatant act of outright hostility from the Admiral he would be sorely mistaken. It was a simple phone, with only a transmitter and receiver, with hardly enough memory to contain fifty numbers. An old phone perhaps? Extending the phone towards KB the solid, gruff, old man would stand there until the man took it, or, should KB refuse, he would crush it in his fist and leave it at that. The Admiral had said try, but cared little of the out come it seemed.
Mastema's trouble for his army rested solely on his barrier, and nothing else. Though the Lord of the Citadel thought himself fancy and clever with his Zenogais designs and what not, who was his latest? Omega? Regardless, they were pitiful excuses to the sort of technological marvels the Admiral could produce. At any rate it was for a different day than this to discuss the pros and cons of his cybernetic designs, or maybe not? It was a party, and rightly so the two would and should mingle.
"A pleasure to finally meet the man I've been trying so hard to kill these past months." Taking Mastema's hand in his own, Tegral's grip firm but not overly so, the Admiral politely shook his hand and gave a half smirk of his own. How Mastema could even guess at what he was feeling, granted he had no real feelings and the fake muscles of his face had not responded to his inner thoughts, was up for grabs, but it wasn't as if the Admiral had known that Mastema knew, so inquires would have to wait until someone coughed up some knowledge of knowing...such a paradox. "I trust you've been in good health?"

"Thank you." KB replied, taking the phone graciously. "Be sure to let the Admiral know I safely got his message." He added, before nodding and turning back to Thanatos.
^____^
Not sure if he should persist in bothering the youth, KB instead would make his way away from the young man, from the minions of the Amiral, and for the love of God away from the twincest. Well, as away from it as you could be if you went to harass their mother, which is exactly what KB did. It had been some time since he had a chance to speak with Kai on such happy terms, so he thought he'd at least say hi. Of course Kai was also being approached by Nana, so KB would sort of walk up as plainly as possible, clearing his throat a little before pocketing the phone, amusing given his military uniform didn't outwardly show a lot of pockets. "Hey Kai-I mean, err, Good evening, Lady Night." He corrected himself, before turning his attention to the stammering Nana. "I hope I'm not intruding." He asked politely.

Than listened passively to the little trade off between Rookin and KB, guessing that Rookin was one of KB's confidants in giving a gift to KB from an 'Admiral.' Than wasn't terribly interested, so he moved away in hopes of refilling his cup. Perhaps Kah would have another chance with KB distracted by her comrade.
The two enemies as it were seemed to at least hit it off on a fair note. Mastema withdrew his hand after shaking Tegral's. "I wouldn't say you've been trying too hard, since we have had no skirmish in nearly a year I believe. At the very least, I'm grateful for the substantial time I've had to develop my more interesting projects. And I can see you've established a home for yourself beyond the reach of most others on this planet. Although, it seems you have a slight problem with a possible foreclosure at the moment." Mastema knew full well about the Cradle, and the existence of the base on which it relied for supplies. Furthermore, he also knew of the battle that was, perhaps still, taking place outside of the space fortress.

"KB's premature ejection of me and my forces was, indeed, a bit of a hassle to deal with." Though passively aware of the fact Mastema had somehow puzzled everything out, maybe due in large part to the massive Harvester of Sorrows still floating up and about the stars, the Admiral felt no shame in explaining everything for the open. "The battle continues on, actually. His station is most numerous of guns." A faint chuckle, fake but somehow real despite the fact he couldn't feel happiness or humor, "No, I have three of my finest war vessels in the system currently poised to bring about quite the bombardment. Maybe after the party you and your family might join me and my officers for a bit of a firework show." For a machine that didn't need to breathe Tegral was a bit long winded, but showed no discomfort in speaking to someone he openly admitted trying to kill.
"At any rate, it's of no concern. KB shall be dealt with soon enough, his primary planet side station reduced to rubble by my forces." Forces commanded and over ridden by Tegral's emergency access codes. Programmed into the Growler Units without KB's knowledge the AIs followed the Admiral and he alone, the T-2's already loyal, not to mention the Quads, and the B.G. 41's as well. The only ones not commanded by Tegral, ironic enough, were those deprived from his own schematics. The T-MKII units Tegral had so freely given KB stood as a potential problem with his swarm of drone vanguard units. When orders of the 'mutiny' (as Tegral liked to think of it) occurred...none who called KB's name as loyalty survived. "As for the not attacking? Well, orders were to kill you. I personally don't give a whit if you're a live or dead. I'm a soldier, Mastema, plain and simple."
If Than were to search for Kah he would find her idly toying with a glass of golden bubbly champaign, the liquid mostly untouched by the cybernetic commando unit because of her lack of ability to enjoy the drink and partially from her irritation. She had no real desire to seek the boy out herself, he was after all just some guy she was going to waste time on, so forced herself to be content in her solace while Rookin made his way over towards the Night children.
