danielmcintyre danielmcintyre danielmcintyre danielmcintyre Ok, well..... That's nice........ I wake up in my house. It's another day, foggy and cool, just the way I like it. 'What should I do today' I think to myself as I get ready to go out. 'I know! I'll look for some pokemon!' I grab my handy-dandy bag and I head over to My PC to see if I have any mail..... *Beep* (computerized voice)--You have NO NEW MESSAGES-- "Darn, no mail..." I say to myself. "Oh well, Let's go then." I check my pak to make sure I have my pokeballs, and my potions, and I head outside. I grab a snack from the counter and I am now outside. As I walk towards the grass, I think about a bike, then decide to walk it. I reach the grass and head thru it, getting somewhat wet... As I go by some trees I hear a sound ahead. 'What could that be?' I ask myself, and jog over towards it. I am now almost a mile away from the house, when I reach the edge of a small 'forest'. "Hmmm.... The sounds are from in there..... Let's go Pikachu!" I call out Pikachu, who happily comes out of the Pokeball and runs up a tree. "Pikachu? Can you come down here?" Pikachu jumps from a low branch down to my head and shoulder. "Good Pikachu. I think there's a Pokemon in this forest, just waiting to be caught. Let's go!" Pikachu Hops down and starts going ahead of me, occasionally examining a leaf or root..... Soon, we arrive in a clearing. The noises stop, and, other than a sudden scurrying and some trails of burnt grass, the clearing is quiet and undesturbed. As I start to leave, Pikachu notices something. "Pika pika! Pikachu!" "What is it Pikachu?" Pikachu moves silently thru the tall grass of the clearing towards the center, and then, as I follow, I see it. An Eevee. Sleeping. "Good job Pikachu, lets wake it up so we can battle!" I whisper to Pikachu. Pikachu uses Quick attack to zoom right by it and scratch it ever so slightly. The Eevee wakes up with a jolt and looks around..... "Quick Pikachu, another quick attack!" I tell Pikachu, and PIkachu uses quick attack and it's a hit! The Eevee skids backwards then does a flip and lands on its feet and uses Tackle on Pikachu, which hits. "Ok, Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt while it's close!" As Eevee comes in for another tackle, Pikachu hits it with a good Thunderbolt, paralyzing Eevee. "Good hit Pikachu!" I call out, and then pikachu uses Iron Tail, but misses and Eevee bites Pikachu's tail. "Uh-oh..." I say to myself. "Pikachu hates it's tail being messed with..." Sure enough, Pikachu looks very angry and so prepares a thunderbolt, which would make the Eevee faint and I couldn't catch it, so I call out to Pikachu: "Pikachu! Use Iron Tail again!" "Pika!" Pikachu does a sort of electrified Iron Tail, and the Eevee cannot miove, it is paralyzed. "Yes! Pikachu, come here!" Pikachu stops attacking and comes over, and I throw a pokeball at the Eevee. 'Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease...' I think to myself as I watch the ball roll in the grass. 'If I get this one, then only 4 more to go! I will go for an Espeon and then Jolteon and then......'

I hope my RPing is okay, I usually don't do it all story-like, but since everyone else is and I do think it's better that way...

Elvenria Okay, I'm getting this one! Faith thought with determination. She had always wanted a horse-like Pokemon, and she had made up her mind to get one ever since she had learned that such a Pokemon had existed. She was not about to let this chance slip from her fingers. "Come on out Hope!" she called, tossing her Eevee's Pokeball into the air. Hope leapt out happily, landing softly on the grass. "Vee!" she squealed, waiting for a command. "Okay, try a Bite attack. Then go for a tackle to the stomach," Faith instructed, retrieving the now empty Pokeball. Hope leapt forward and leapt sideways at the last minute, catching the Ponyta on its unguarded hind leg. As it wheeled around in alarm, Hope let go and charged in for a tackle, hitting the fiery horse square on the belly. The Ponyta's flames blazed as it regained balance. This was serious now. Hope ran in for another tackle, and promptly missed as the Ponyta stepped neatly to the side. So Ponytas are pretty good with speed after all, Hope thought, calling Hope back to her Pokeball. Truth had a better speed stat. She sent out the little Charmander, who materialised while the ball was still in the air and took it to her advantage, giving the Ponyta a few Metal Claw slashes to the back on the way down. The move was countered with a Flamethrower, which happened to have barely any effect. Furthermore it seemed to brighten Truth's spirit, who immediately scuttled over and went for a Slash on the Ponyta's rump. "That's enough, Truth, return!" Faith called, and Truth disappeared in a beam of red light. The Ponyta could barely stand now; the health level was critical. "Pokeball, go for it!" Faith flung a Pokeball at the Ponyta, who disappeared in a flurry of gold stars. The lid of the ball snapped shut and the Pokeball jiggled once, twice, thrice. Faith bit her lip and crossed her fingers for luck. Her dream Pokemon...  Ponyta has been caught! (Which level was the one you wanted to catch?)

Ooc: Waa, thanks! ^^ It's the level 6 one,; the level 4 wandered off ^^ Thanks so much! -snugs- Bic: ...was hers. At last. HER dream Pokemon. Her very own. Faith just stood there, staring at the Pokeball, stunned out of imagination. She had done it; the time had seemed to fly. Was this....? A dream? Wishful thinking? A hallucination? Or...reality? Slowly she walked forward, hesitating for a moment before picking the ball up. It emitted a fuzzy feeling at her touch, somewhere between a warm glow and a slight vibration. Faith nearly leapt with joy. She spun in circles a few times, clutching her Pokeball and daring to believe it was true. She whirled and spun happily, then calmed down and headed down the lonely path to the Pokemon Center, her face the picture of utter bliss.
