We realized the other day that EVERY time our band has gone on a trip (at least in the past four years) there has been at least one hookup. It's quite amusing. This was the list we came up with:
Disneyland, freshman year: Male percussionist & female percussionist (both freshmen) Male percussionist & female flute (both freshmen)
Lionel Hampton, sophomore year: Male trumpet & female clarinet/alto (junior/sophomore)
Lionel Hampton, junior year: Male alto & female trumpet (sophomore/junior)
Hawaii, junior year: Male trombone & female violin (junior/senior) Male tuba & female clarinet (freshman/junior)
Jazz retreat, senior year: Male clarinet/tenor & female flute/tenor (freshman/senior)
Lionel Hampton, senior year: Male trumpet & female oboe/alto (sophomore/senior)
Of those, about half are still together. I can't wait to see who hooks up on our trip next month. XD Someone BETTER hook up! It'll break tradition if they don't!

Theres a few people that have a relationship in band. But some break up, and mostly they go back together. I know, I was in a relationship in band, but now me and him broke up because we live in different worlds, but me and him are best friends so its cool. But you ever wonder that when you break up with a band member of yours, you have to see them no matter what in band? lol.

Only one?! God in our band there are soo many! But all the good one graduated freshman year. I swear my section leader and her boyfriend are gonna get married. Our band just laughs at them for it and are ok with all of them until the PDA happens in uniform, then I get pissed, I'm the uniform manager.

Ah, yes.
There are/have been a LOT of Bandlationships at my school.
Two trumpets dated for a while, then broke up. PercussionxFlute, mylow brass PadrexClarinet, OboexTrumpet, French HornxAlto Sax, DrumxDrum, Clarinet (but now a trombone xp)xTrombone, TubaxAlto Sax...oh the list goes on and on.
There are a few more dating drama people, since the drama department and the music one share a hallway and are very closely related. The principal didn't, and still doesn't, know that our student sound guru is NOT in the band. xd

in summer of '04 ((my first year of marching band)) almost everyone was going out with someone. I was even part of a couple, which I regret.
We have a few currently, but only one of them is really serious

I'm in a band-lationship with a bass trombone player but I don't think it counts anymore cause he graduated. But we still go out. Basically everyone who dates in band dates other band ppl
