"I'm fine right where I am. I'd never be able to make it across." She said. "You and short stuff race... and I'll laugh when Yugi beats you." Naomi looked at Janus, catching the look and tone. "What's wrong chick? Something go on between you and short-stuff?" She glanced up at Yugi then back to Janus.

Janus looked up at Naomi in some shock then said slightly defensively, "No." She remembered that Naomi didn't witness the shadow game before. Janus still wasn't used to the fact that they, well, killed two kids. Up until that point, she was cool about him. And the fact that he protected her, wait.... did he? That didn't cross her mind before. But that wasn't the important matter right now, she was much more afraid of the spirit in his puzzle. It almost reminded her of Yashami, so it was wounder she wanted to stay away. But she didn't know how to explain that to Naomi, so she changed the subject, "You don't like to swim?"

Naomi blinked at the sudden tone. Did she miss something? "Okay, sorry." She muttered before answering Janus' question. "No I do... I just never learned properly. The only thing I can do is dog-paddle ontop the water but I can swim really well underneath." She decided to ignore the sudden change of subject. For now.

Janus nodded, "It's ok." She smiled, "But at least you can swim- that's good." She went under to wet her hair and came back up.
Joey made a face, "You guys are no fun," he commented. He then looked at Naoko, "What about you? Er... what's your name? Well anyway, do you want to race with us?" Joey was friendly to anyone reallt, unless they were bullies or jerks. He figured if she was talking with Naomi and Janus, she had to be a friend.

"Meh, it's so-so." Naomi said. "And you can swim too you know." She looked down as someone, once again, swam underneath her. "Hey, pervert, do you mind swimming around? Thank you." She snapped, turning to the boy. She rolled her eyes as the boy swam off in another direction and turned back to Janus, her voice dropping down a bit. "So, seriously, what's going on between you and Yugi? You suddenly seem scared of the guy."

Naoko blinked, looking at it a bit. "Yeah..my ears are pierced..why?" She asked, forgetting somewhat about the earring. HEr ditzy side was surfacing, it soon going away. She then heard Joey, looking over to the blonde haired boy. "My name is Naoko..and...sure..why not!" She stated with a slight smile towards him.

Janus swam a bit over to watch the three, "Oh geez, this should be interesting." Janus sweat dropped. She watched the boy swim under her, "Assholes...." She directed her attension to Naomi again. She felt bad not telling her. "Well.... I.... did I tell you about the orb?" Janus swam away from the two boys and gestered Naomi to follow. It was only a bit away from them, still on the side of the pool. "It allows me to see someones true persona. It's not Yugi, it's his spirit inside the puzzle..... it.... I dunno...." She went to touch her orb, but it wasn't there. She then looked herbin the eyes, "It's not a big deal or anything. I don't know why I should even care." She completely lied, she saw two people die- perfectly good reason to care. Not to meantion what Despair told her.
Joey smiled, "My name's Joey and this is Yugi. Good to meet you."

"Well...it's nice to meet you, Yugi!" She stated, smiling towards Yugi and then looked to Joey. "It's nice to meet you as well.." She stated softly with a slight blush. He seemed kind of cute. She wasn't sure completely on how he acted, but he was cute. With that, she would wait for them to get ready before she got ready to race.

Naomi frowned on her question completely being brushed off. She shrugged it off and pulled herself out of the pool to sit on the side, letting her legs dangle in the water. "C'mon Naoko! Beat 'em both!" She called out as she watched.

Naomi jumped off the ledge and back into the water, following Janus, grabbing onto the sidding again like she'd done before. "Well if it's not Yugi than don't act like it's his fault. Maybe he can't control what his spirit does." She suggested then shrugged. "Despire doesn't like him - the spirit or pharaoh as she says. She won't tell me though." She did wonder what happened between them all back then.

Personality- Normally stays by himself, doesn't like to talk much
Bio- Tou Kurropoino is a smart boy when it comes to dueling. He can duel very well, or so people say. He doesn't like to flaunt his dueling skills though, so he normally makes up an excuse that he forgot his cards at his house or he's grounded from dueling for not getting good grades. To tell the truth, he doesn't care much for school when it comes down to the work. He is good friends with Naoko and always tries to protect her, considering he knows that she has no parents. He know about the millenium items and can tell when Naoko changes into her yami. HE also has been through a shadow game, even though he barely survived it. His name means Sword of the Darkness, which somewhat reflects his personality.
He is also the reincarnation of a man named Iah, which means Moon, who was great friends with Seika.

Janus smiled a bit, "I guess your right." She liked Naomi, she was glad they were friends. She decided to ask he something, "Um, Despair meantioned something about these items and 'shadow games', do you know anything about them?"

A figure sat upon the floor of the pool, his legs in the water, yet him not being completely in. He could care less for swimming, and he didn't want to be sociable. He had been sitting there for the longest time now, and even his bottom was getting somewhat numb. His black hair rubbed against his shoulders as it made it tickle, but he'd ignore that for now. He looked over towards Naoko, making sure nothing bad was happening, especially after she got yelled at by the teacher. Oh well, he figured the teacher would leave her alone now. With that, he just sat silently and relaxed a bit, possibly going to go in in a few minutes to visit with Naoko, that was, after she raced.

"Shadow games?" Naomi said, tapping her chin and thinking. "Can't help you on that." She shrugged her shoulders. Despire had yet to explain those to her yet. "As for the items, I probably know as much as you do. All I know is that they all came from Egypt and that priests made them to protect the land or something like that."
