After laughing so hard, Gerbo had to whipe a couple of tears off of his face before he could respond. He stood up, brushed himself off, then looked over at the mage.
"Sorry, but i made a pun and coudn't help it... my gnomish funny bone takes controll sometimes... I'm sure you know how it goes."

Trying to hold back a snicker, Gerbo tried his hardest to tell it without once again losing controll.
"I said a bard uses song and magic in perfect... HARMONY! Get it! Hahaha!"
Despite his best efforts, Gerbo once again fell back down to the ground laughing hystericaly.

Perrian blinked. "I don't get it?" He said and scratched his head. "Um...ok?" He really wasn't sure what to really say to the laughing Gerbo.

Regaining his composure once more, Gerbo continued to talk to Perrian.
"You don't get it? A Bard... they sing... you know? Hamonization? Its a song thing... Maybe you have to be a gnome to get it i guess..."
Scratching at his now dusty beard from the bar floor, Gerbo shook off the remaining bits of laughter he was still fighting.
"Anyway then... What brings you here to the Inn this morning?"

"Well, I'm here just to relax and rest. Also, just to meet some new people and see if they knew where a good plot of land is for a new home. I'm thinking about making myself a home soon, once I finish this quest for Shiva." Perrian said and took a sip of his diet soda.

"Who is this Shiva person that you speak of?"

"Shiva is a goddess who I met during my tournament. She's very nice and I'm helping her find a home." Perrian said and smiled.

Gerbo said with a look of amazment combined with disbelief, and a hint of speculation.
"When did this happen? And how was it a mere mortal such as yourself was able to gain her favor?"

"Yup. I met a goddess. Her name is Shiva. I met here past the 5th round at the tournament. There was a big crack in the wall with water running through it. The water led to a waterfall, where Shiva, the goddess of water and nature, was. It's a long story after that, but if you want me to tell you, I will." Perrian smiled.

"So you are now trying to find a home for this god? And were exactly does a god live at? I thought they lived way up in the sky, or on some big mountain or tree... Us gnomes only have VERY loose stories pertaining to gods... Not anything too concrete at all..."
Gerbo let out a "humph" as if he just had a revalation.
"So did this god grant you any cool magic powers! Perhaps... ULTIMATE MAGICAL POWER!"
Gerbo's eyes grew wide with excitement at his last phrase as he listened intently to Perrians story.

Suddenly the once inconfident and shy Luc bursts through the tavern door with newfound confidence and galore. At the top of his lungs, without yelling he says loudly. "BEWARE ALL! THE POWERFUL DM OF DEATH SHALL BE RESURRECTED TOMORROW TO BRING JUDGMENT AND CHAOS TO ALL!" Luc then turns with a fling of his cape and leaves the tavern.

Perrian blinked. "Well...what does he mean about "to bring judgement and chaos to all?' I'm confused."
He turns to Gerbo. "Oh yeah, back to our talk. Well, gods and goddess live on the earth, like us." He took a sip of his diet soda. "Now to how I met her and how I gained her favor, and back to the long true story. I met Shiva at the waterfall, but she was being forced out by Evangeline, who is the person who you must face in the 9th round. Evangeline told Shiva that Ra did not want her there and that Shiva had to either leave or be killed. I suggested to Shiva that she should come with me and I'll help her find a new home, she agreed. Currently, I am helping her find a new home." Perrian said and then took a sip of his diet soda "And no, she did not grant me any magic powers."

*Djanni stumbles down the steps from her room, nursing yet another hangover. Collapsing on a bar stool, she sullenly orders an orange juice - JUST orange juice, with lots of ice. Slowly, she sips it and rubs her head*
