Koosei Hero Maul I-minh After one day with a bit to work with:
Vote for Koosei.
Because of this quote:Koosei, pg24 one flaw in that though. The seers find out through PM. there's nothing saying they have to tell the rest of us what they scry. or that they have to tell us the truth if they tell us. I doubt the seer would ever lie to the townies, considering he or she is a townie him/herself. Why cast doubt upon the seer's credibility?
Leaving this open for other townie's consideration for the rest of the day. I think she's talking about the Insane Seer. gonk Maul is partially right. I also meant that there's nothing saying the seers can't just lie to us to screw around with our heads. they could find out an important role, and tell us something completely different just to mess with our heads and create mass chaos. That's...seriously not a good reason. The seers have absolutely no reason to do that, and screwing with people has no advantages. My vote remains on Koosei. (Nothing personal, Koosei. Sorry. :b)Quote: You make a fair point I-Minh but here's how I see things. *On one page you said I was a credit to the thread because I voiced my opinion, on the next you gave a quote which proved the opposite, which is it? * The quote above was indeed lacking evidence and opinion, and I will ensure that I back up all future claims with as much solid proof as I can. *. People shouldn't voice just any opinion that they have. Random speculation will lead to chaos and the lynching of valuable member. *. People should voice their opinions, along with solid evidence when they think that they are making even a slightly accurate assesment of the situation. IE: Your accusation of Koosei, though lacking in conclusive proof, did have a solid backbone and was worth pointing out. Where as someone who says "I think he/she is the wolf, because they haven't been posting" is an accusation with little evidence and does little to aid us. So, take time to gather evidence (but not too much) then present the evidence to everyone when the time is right. *With regard to your accusation of Koosei, I disagree in parts. Koosei has been on the thread more than alot of people, doing just what you asked: Voiceing her opinion. When someone talks and discusses as much as she does, there are bound to be certain times when her words can be seen as suspicous, simply for the fact that she is more noticable than everyone else. Perhaps you are right about Koosei, but I think that you should first appreciate someone who is voiceing her opinion openly (which, as tatsuman said, makes her a target for all parties.) *People who talk on the thread more, and voice intellegent opinions are more likely to be killed or lynched, it's a sad fact. We can perhaps determine that if someone was killed that had been suggesting things, then this is evidence that they were right. But is it? Perhaps that person was utterly wrong, but was killed as a distraction? Anyways, I hope that was all clear (I type whilst I think, so sometimes it gets mixed up a bit). And to clarify, I think you are right for the most part, but I disagree on a few points. One final thing, being Gonbes sister. Is being Gonbes sister a benefit or not? I'm not accusing you or her of anything, but I do imagine you would be able to garner some ideas based on the things Gonbe says (ie: she says something irrelevant, but you pick up a clue from it). Of course, I don't know if you even live together, but I think it's a imporatant thing to clarify. @FS: [point 1] Incidentely, the quote I used was supposed to suggest you did voice your opinions. Hence the quotation marks around "Did not voice his opinions". Did you read the quote?
[point 2] I never said anything against it. I was using it as an example of what townies should do.
[point 3] They should at least vote when the see a valid speculation against a member. Otherwise we get nowhere, and the psycic wolf gets to choose who gets lynched. So yes. People, if you guys see something suspicious, please do not just say that you 'have suspicions', share them and vote!
[point 4] It's impossible for anyone to get conclusive truth, unless you're the seer or connected to the seer in some way. And now is the right time to present evidence. Why wait till the last minute? By posting it now, it gives time for townies to discuss, as well as giving time for the accused to defend him/herself - ergo (Ah-ah-ah. I wanted to use this ever since playing Pheonix Wright.), we are more likely to arrive at the right conclusion.
[point 5] I am not against her voicing her opinions. But her voicing her opinions does not automatically make her a townie. It is an equally valid tactic as a wolf to be loud and obnoxious - so people will think, exactly like you, 'Why would she draw attention to herself as a wolf?" And as of so far, she hasn't made any substantiated claims, or claims at all, and the vast majority of what she has posted is idle conversation.
And if you'd look at her reply to the accusation. She defended her claim, so we know it isn't just the slip of a tongue. And it is a suspicious claim. The seers are the best we have right now. Why cast suspicion upon them?
As to the fact they may be a 'wolf in sheeps clothing', it is up to the townie to evaluate the seer's credibility. Fearing the seers does us no good.
[point 6] So? Does it matter if we're just townies? I repeat. However we look at it, keeping the seer alive should still be our utmost priority. The are the only ones who can find definite information.
[point 6] I don't live with Gonbe. She's at university, and I'm in a boarding school right across on the other side of Canada.
And what I've said about Koosei is completely based off what she's said in the thread so far.@Draken: THE RETURN OF THE QUOTEZILLA!

Actually... I grudgingly agree with I-minh on this one it -is- suspicious and if I cannot find a better candidate I'll be throwing my vote in with hers because I don't particularly want to give the Psychic Wolf our vote.
