Daegonna smiled. She was glad Roan planned to be here for Dagoth. Daegonna was also glad Roan wasn't going to drag her away, right now. She was troubled by the fact that there were Abominations, but rather more troubled by the fact that they were Nazis. She'd crossed paths with one before, only once. It had been decidedly unpleasant. Daegonna impulsively hugged Roan, and then withdrew, her cheeks flushed with a rosy tinge. Roan wasn't really the affectionate type, as far as Daegonna had seen, but that had never stopped her from spontaneous cuddles before. "I'll see what I can do from here. The battlemagic I know is really only the sort you can use on the battlefield, with a clearly visible enemy to fling it at. The curses, however...Those can be done from anywhere. I just need something of theirs. Hair is typical. I don't really like handling blood, but it works very well, too." Daegonna didn't go into detail, on that front, but she'd figured she should mention the most potent of tools to bind curses. She hesitated. "There are curses that don't require any reagents, but...That requires a different sort of power, and a different sort of bond." Daegonna paused. "Well, I'll do what I can from here, but I've only had a glimpse of the enemy, so that will make it much harder. I need to know who I'm trying to kill."

Believe me, by the time we engage properly, we'll know a lot more about them. I dislike fighting people I dont know. Its very rude.
*She grinned and would have said more, but her phone went off. She held a hand up to Dae, apologising for her rudeness, but she took the call - it was Iden, and she was worried about him and Javos. For a few minutes, the convo went back and forth, Roan filling Iden in on their problems, reacting to the fact he had been targetted too. When she hung up, she sighed, but when she leaned back, she was grinning wider than humanly possible*
Bad bad boys... they're being sneaky and they attacked my son.... shall we kill the naughty big boys form down the lane Daegonna? I think I should like a necklace of their finger bones...

Daegonna smirked. "I have to fight people I don't know all the time." She said dryly. "Though, perhaps, if they knew me they wouldn't pick on me." Daegonna was used to being forced to defend herself against those who saw her as a victim or a pawn. Daegonna waited patiently, not at all bothered by the phone call. In fact, she was glad to hear that Iden and Javos were okay. She missed Iden, and Javos, too, in a way. At Roan's words, Daegonna giggled. "I never did like bullies." She was thinking about making bone jewelry. She was also rather curious about the skulls of the Abominations. She wasn't usually the sort to collect trophies, but the bones of a rare critter always amused her. Bone was also a pretty common reagent in her spells. "Are Iden and Javos doing okay?" She asked,

They're alive, but Javos is hurt. He's unconscious, I dont know yet what he jumped in front of. On the plus, neither of them got captured and they're both coming home. When I wrap up what Im doing here, I'll go pick them up.
*She stretched and nodded*
Be near your brother. I'll keep you informed.

Daegonna nodded. She wasn't surprised that Iden and Javos had lived, she'd just been worried about how badly they had been injured. If Javos was unconscious, it must be pretty damn bad. Daegonna stuck her lollypop back in her mouth, and stared thoughtfully at Roan. She opened her mouth to say something, then stopped, and stuck the lollypop in her mouth again. It wasn't important. Roan dismissed her, and she turned on one boot, and skipped back to her seat. A few of the patrons of the club watched her go, shaking their heads and marveling at the nutjobs they let into the Fang. She seated herself in her chair, and smoothed out her lacy ruffled skirt, glancing almost shyly at her brother. She wished she could tell him what was going on. The timing of this whole thing was aboslutely terrible.

Meanwhile however, the god of blood in the back of Roan's mind had kept rather quiet, since the Matriarch's last words to him.... However, that was to change.
.::"Very well, bloody Seer. We have, an accord."::.
Was all that the Diety, had to say on the matter, as he fell back into the recesses of her being, his quiet, muffled chortle fading slowly, already at work doing as Roan had requested.

Just so long as you remember the blood Im MOST concerned about having melded with my own is NOT in my body... YET. I will find time at the mansion, possibly AFTER the first assault to acquire that for you to work with.
*Speaking her words back to the god, she loosened up the restrictions she kept in her own body by will alone, giving him nigh on FULL access to her flesh born form, though the few mental shields she COULD keep up between them stayed in place. She didnt need the Blood God deciding she'd simply make a better vessel in the middle of a war zone after all.
Smirking and contented with the days work, she stood up and zipped up her jacket. Tossing the cigarette to the floor and grinding it undertow, she shadowstepped out of the building after a salute to Dagoth. Time to go pick up Iden and her pet cat*

Daegonna seated herself by the ring again. She watched her brother intently for a moment, thoughtful. Would Bailey protect him, if blow came to blow? Pfft. No. He regarded Dagoth as a pet. That made Daegonna's blood boil. She sighed. Her tail flicked from side to side, the arrowhead shaped tip leaving a deep gouge in the leg of the chair she sat in. She closed her eyes, and shifted all of her attention to her senses. If she focused hard enough, she could "see" the auras of those around her. She turned her attention to her memories, now, struggling to remember everything she could about the one she had glimpsed by Seraphim. She couldn't remember enough of him to get a grasp of his aura, and couldn't even recall his scent. In fact, if she had sensed anything other than what she had seen with her eyes, she couldn't remember it. But she had gotten a look at his face. She focused on every aspect of him that she could remember.
Curses, for the most part, are something that most people need rituals and reagents for. "Voodoo" dolls and pins, blood and poisonous herbs, something with the victim's name on it, a lock of hair, and so on. This sort requires forming a link using something of the victim's, and pouring ill-intent through it. Next, there are the sorts of curses that gypsies or witches cast against those who do them ill. They seem to be, for lack of a better explanation, a burst of loathing and maliciousness carried on a current of magic. But those require specific circumstances. Of the few true witches and Gypsies who had been killed in various Inquisitions and holocausts, several of them cursed their executioners before they were put to death. There are countless other sorts, of course. Most magic users and spellcasters can do one or the other. A handful can do both. Daegonna was one of those few. Unfortunately, for all her talent, she was not fully trained. Most of her education in spellcraft of every sort had come from her own research, and a few teachers she had met along the way. Trial and error could be very dangerous. Daegonna had nearly blown herself up, or cursed herself, or transmuted herself several times.
Daegonna focused on her victim. She had to mentally grasp for a sort of thread between the two of them, something through which she could direct her spell. It was hard. People form bonds between each other every moment of every day. You can form a connection with a stranger just by passing them on the street. Some of those connections are permanent, and some of them are thin, tenuous, and will break, or wear away. Looking for the connection she needed was like opening a circuit box and trying to figure out which wire is the one you're looking for. Daegonna found that nameless something that stretched between them, and then stopped. Curses are dangerous, because there is great risk of them rebounding most horribly upon the caster, particularly if the Universe sees them as unjustified. It might be best to wait for them to strike against her personally before she cast. But she hated that thought. If she let them attack first, she'd probably be killed. Or worse, her family might be. That didn't really sound like a good plan of action. She pursed her lips. As far as she knew, she had seen him, but he'd not really noticed her. That was a gamble, to be sure. It was also a gamble to assume he wasn't carrying some sort of protective spell or amulet that would deflect any curses upon her. He was a Nazi. That gave her pause. The swastika had originally been a Romany symbol of protection. The Nazis had flipped it, and used the backwards symbol as their own. Would it protect them still? Or would flipping it have reversed the power of the symbol, making it's power null? Daegonna sighed. Magic theory could be really tricky. That was why so many witches and warlocks and magicians and mages died terrible deaths. She released her mental hold on the 'thread.' She would wait. There were just too many questions. If she got anxious, or if things started moving faster than she could handle, she would try her hand at scrying, and see if she could glean more information that way.

For some time now the younger Fiend had been away. Where he'd been he'd yet to make apparent to anyone. When it came down to it though he'd been just about everywhere. He'd been making random turns of Europe for a while mostly resting during daylight hours and then prowling the streets at night in the guise of whatever being he'd taken the liberty to feed on upon waking. After that grew old he went across water and stayed Stateside in New York for a while repeating much the same process of sleeping, waking, feeding and blending. It had done marvels for his ability to look human of course but that hadn't been the main reason he'd been away.
As he descended into the Chasm for the first time in what seemed like ages, and it DID feel good to be home, he finally pinned the reason down. It had been floating around in his head and it finally seemed to make sense as he reverted to his comfortable faun shape. What it had boiled down to was this: Leer had needed a break, needed to be anonymous for a while. He had needed to get away from the familliar faces and the old battles and clear his head, remember what he was.
All in all, the hiatus had felt good, but there was something he'd missed. Something he'd come back for...Ah, yes...
"...It's good to be back..."
Leer sighed a long icy breath as he slid into the familliar scenary and one of the old armchairs. Raising his arms high overhead he stretched until he felt the vertabrae pop and dislocate. Then, slowly, he put them back in place and sighed again.

*Ice stirred in his room, awakened by someone familair entering his territory. a long, loud yawn rolled off his lips as he disengaged his body from Daegonna's, leaving the demoness covered by furs as he slid out of bed and went to investigate, still half asleep.
Wandering into the lounge, he purred with pleasure when he noted who it was, and thus felt his childe's presence fully*
You have returned, my childe... it has been too long.
*he seemed genuinely pleased to see Leer, grinning wolfishly at his 'son' as he crossed the distance between them*

Sensing his Sire in the Chasms was not unusual and Leer picke up on him almost immediately. However, it took him a few moments to come to realize that Daegonna was around as well, and apparently had been for quite some time. That was an interestingly new fact.
He'd began pondering her presence here, noting how last he'd checked the Anon breed wasn't her favorite to mingle with but checked the thoughts to the back of his mind as Ice appeared in the room.
"Indeed, indeed!..."
Leer hopped to his feet, flourishing a low bow to the elder Anon. His tail moved casually around the chair he'd recently been reclining in and continued to do so as he stood erect, returned Ice's welcoming grin and continued speaking.
"Ah, but let us not dwell on my doings, they have been rather uneventful. I both sense and trust you've been up to your usual business. Tell me what I have been away from."
He was talking with his usual tones, but he almost sounded eager to get thrown back into the loop. To know was to hold power and Leer loved to know things.

I am CERTAIN uneventful is NOT the correct turn of phrase if you are any son of mine, but that aside...
*Ice waltzed to one of the chairs and snuggled - yes, SNUGGLED - into the furs. He barked orders for vitae to unseen servants, then gestured Leer to sit also*
Much has happened, but Im sure of most import to you will be that I have taken a vassal, and formed a bond with her. You are familiar with the half demon Daegonna DeSeer, correct? I think you will be.... impressed... with the power surge we have BOTH gained.

Daegonna stirred a bit, as Ice slid out of bed, but didn't wake immediately. She pulled the furs a bit tighter around herself, letting out a soft, sleepy sound. After a few minutes, she rolled over, and found Ice was not there. She sat up, running a hand through her tousled curls, and then slid out of Ice's bed. She sensed someone else, a vaguely familiar presence. She wrapped a fur around her bare shoulders, and silently padded out to the main room. She paused in the doorway, her horned head tilted to one side. Ah. Leer. She recognized him, now.

Leer nodded at Ice's statement. All things told there were a few interesting turns of events but Leer had a much greater lust to know what he didn't not know and could learn form Ice than what he already knew. Still, should the elder wish to hear of his own travels he would recite the story's he had.
"Ah, yes. Daegonna. Sorceress, relation to dagoth DeSeer and formerly using the family name Da'Shae..."
As beckoned Leer took a seat. The furs stirred endlessly and idly under the twists of his fingers and claws as he reclined into a relaxed posture and briefly closed his eyes bringing up an image of Daegonna as he'd remberred on their last encounter. Slowly his eyes slid open again as he resumed speaking.
"...I knew I recognized that scent. I take it that wasn't the world's smplest task? Last I recall she was not quite fond of Anon blood."
And, almost as if he'd ended his sentance on que to match her arrival, the subject of his conversation appeared. The younger Tzimi tilted his head sideways, at an oddly similar angle as Dae's own, and looked over at her. Without moving his head further he scanned her up and down while offering her a wave of his hand as greeting before returning it to its spot at the arm of his chair. His eyes had started at her feet worked up then back down then up again where they met her eyes with a soul-piercing gaze that he always used to examine things or people alike.
"Been a while, eh, Dae?"
With those casual greeting words Leer slowly his head turned back to where Ice lay.

*ice smiled as Daegonna entered. A little of the cold of the grave, the cold of his power, whispered from him in reaction to her and he held his hand out, inviting her to join him*
I admit I cheated and tricked the first step out of the lovely lady, but she has been... amenable, since. She is a boon to my power, and I to hers. Isnt that so, princess?
*his eyes were all for Dae, despite his wandering prodigal of a son returning*
There is much else we can discuss from your absense, but I feel food should be a first priority. Are you hungry, Daegonna?
