Thanks, HPlover. whee

So, Matelia do you know What did Voldemort threaten Fudge with? I asked a few days ago and you didn't answer yet...I guess things in real life are keeping you busy from your Gaian life; it happens to everyone.

Wow! Thanks for the points!

Sorry Min. I wanted to give your question my best answer, and so I mulled it over for a couple of days. You may have managed to stump me, for I don't remember any time where Fudge and Voldemort had enough interaction to threaten Fudge to his face, or when Voldemort would have threatened Fudge to someone else (Harry/Dumbledore/Death Eaters) and what he would have threatened him with in that situation.

However, I'll have to say that my answer is that the presence of a returned Voldemort threatened Fudge with instability and more trouble than the Wizarding World had known in years, and so Fudge went into denial about Voldemort's return. He blamed Dumbledore for creating the whole panic, instead of looking at its true source, Voldemort.

Did I get that right? Is that the situation you were asking about? Golly, that question was hard.

It's a good guess, Matelia, but it's not correct. We don't actually see the interaction, however, in the first chapter of Half-Blood Prince Fudge discusses the situation in detail with the Muggle Prime Minister. "He threatened a mass Muggle killing unless I stood aside for him." When the Muggle P.M. become furious about the Muggles that were killed by the Brockdale Bridge, Fudge grows angry and demands, "Are you saying you would have caved in to blackmail like that?"

I suppose that makes me the Almighty Fanatic now? eek Oh, Dear Merlin, I've never been the Fanatic before! sweatdrop Oh no, what if I can't even get 5 in a row and don't earn my House any points? What if I don't get ANY right and completely disgrace myself? sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop *faints from anxiety*

Congrats Min biggrin . I'm sure you will be okay. That was a really hard question so appauld both you and Matelia. Matelia, you had a really good guess.
Okay, I'm here for a purpose so I should move on, shouldn't I?

*clears throat*

What was the title of the leaflet the ministry gave the 6ths years in preparation for their "big test"?
(Hint: Ron failed the test. Hermione passed and Harry didn't take it in his 6th year biggrin )

If you don't get the question, feel free to PM or whatever and I'll try to rephrase!

Of course you're talking about Apparation (Ron failed for leaving half of an eyebrow behind). Unfortunately, I'm afraid I've been stumped on the first question. emo Twycross told the students Apparation required destination, determination, and deliberation, but I don't recall him or any other Ministry official handing out any tangible leaflet guides to help the students study Apparation. confused The Ministry leaflet Protecting Your Home and Family Against Dark Forces says to make sure that in emergency situations underged wizards are aware of a Side-Along Apparation procedure, but that can't be the answer you're seeking because it isn't a study guide. *sighs* I guess I didn't earn my House any points. crying That makes Suze Fanatic again.

Sorry Min. You got the test right. The leaflet was called Common Apparition Mistakes and How to Avoid Them. Good try. It's okay. Maybe if you ask really hard questions, you can get points like Envy did!

I am the fanatic again? *takes big breath* Okay, I think I'm ready.

Good job, both of you! Now I can practice writing my questions to avoid the confusion of the last one.

Hmm, I'll start off with an easier one. What did Umbridge make Harry write in his detentions with her?

Umbridge made Harry write the line, I must not tell lies, over and over again with her special quill. biggrin

The pamphlet was given to those taking the apparition test. It wasn't handed out at the regular lessons, but Hermione and Ron were both clutching them before they took off to Hogsmeade. Alright, I've never done this before but here it goes.

In the Chamber of Secrets why did Ginny take Riddle's Diary back after she found Harry with it even though she had tried to dispose of it completely?

She stole it back because she didn't want Harry to find out all the things she had written in the diary or what she had done while under it's control.

Nice question Lily!

Correct, by the way. I'll have to wait for an opening to ask another question, though. So, hmm.
