"I like Bullet well enough... he's not a bad guy... But I'm really not in the mood for Moonshot." Kairi said shaking her head. She then watched as a force field was created around the wolf. "Hey! Someone else who can make force fields like Haden and I! I wonder who it is... I don't it's anyone we know. Well I don't know anyone who who can fly, really." She spaced out a little. "I wish I could fly... That would be neat, huh?"

Tamy ran through the sand after Slash. A bullet flew by and grazed her calf, causing her to stumble and fall, but she dragged herself back onto her feet and sprinted to Slash's side. She stepped into the short, metalic tunnel and the automatic door behind her shut tight. She was alarmed for a moment, but as her eyes grew acustomed to the dim light she could see that they weren't in and danger... for the moment. the tunnel seemed fairly useless considering that there was another door not far down. She twisted Slash onto his back. He was pale and his expression was twisted with pain, but he had only lost conciousness. This is exactly what I didn't want to happen... She sat with him a minute, but found herself rising and walking to the door on the otherside of the curidor. It was a thick bolted door, with no windows or any handles on it, but to one side was some kind of scanner.
Merge climbed down the ladder and into the lab. Imediately he ran down the hall, but doubled back when her heard the sound of someone else coming. "Didn't I close that door!?" he snapped at Sickle. Sighing deeply, about how he'd have to bring an outsider with him he motioned for Sickle to follow. "But be QUIET!" She said, immensly anoyed and putting extra emphasis on the word 'quiet'. He stalked down the hall and made a couple of turns before coming to a stop at a door that needed an access card. Digging around in his pocket he pulled out a card that he'd swiped from a Scientist who left it on a side table earlier that day when Merge came to help him with a failing experiment. He grimanced at the memory and swiped the card. A soft beeping noise went off followed by the click of the door unlocking. He opened the door and closed it behind both of them, auto-locking it shut. The room they had entered had a giant computer taking up half the room, the other half had a long desk with numerous fancy chair. "Alright.." Merge said finally taking a seat in front of the computer, "We can talk now. This has all your answers in it." He said making a sweeping motion with his hands. "Were going to get all the info off it, then blow it to smitherines!"

"Coming here was more for Tamy's sake rather then mine, actually." He muttered as he took the keyboard. After a few quick key strokes, The wolf had made his way into the data files on the computer. "Hmph, pretty lousy firewalls." He commented as he read through some transcripts. He turned to Merge and raised an eyebrow, "Won't you get in trouble for blowing the place to kingdom come?" He asked, but while the hedgehog answered, he pulled out a small disk hidden in his fur. "I can't make heads or tails of this stuff." He muttered, copying the files and folders to his little drive. While it copied, he listened to the last of Merge's explanation.

Super pointed. "It's a piece of technology that makes the Force field, not a natural power like Haden's." Super explained as he slowed his pace. "Her name is Lea, by the way. The same one that I was talking about earlier." He spoke with a matter-of-face tone. "And she just trapped good old Moonshot in a bubble. Wonder how that'll work out..." His tone noted that he didn't much trust that the bubble would hold him for long.

"So that's her, huh...?" Kairi said, but she still couldn't get a good look at her. "I guess if Moonshot get's out we'll have to give her a hand. And since Moonshot will get out..." Her voice got quiet at the end of the sentence. She wasn't sure if she was looking forward to meeting this girl wolf.

"Your so Paranoid. Look, We have to go meet her anyway - She was heading toward us in the first place, it seemed like, anyway." He smiled, patting the fox on the back, jogging ahead. "Come on, I got see a caged Moonshot if only for a few seconds!" He called before zooming off in a blaze of speed.

Kairi sighed and shook her head. She then started running, which she could do a little bit faster in her new form. If she wanted to go really fast she could always go on all fours... but she hated doing that 'So undignified... dreadful.' as Haden would say when ever he had to run like that. And the fox wasn't in a hurry anyway...

Super turned around to see the fox not only going much slower then him, but she was almost a speck in the distance. He wasn't used to having a running companion who couldn't keep up with him. But he had to keep reminding himself that not everyone could bypass the speed of sound, so he stood and waited. Of all the things people were normal at, the one thing Super detested the most was lack of physical speed. He hated the fact that even the fastest humans couldn't go further then 15 MPH. And here he was going over hundreds of miles per hours. As he waited, he checked his watch. "Ooooh yeah, Bullet's long gone." He muttered. As Kairi approuched, he put down his watch and watched her for a moment. "Not much in a hurry, eh?"

Kairi smirked and her tail swished. "Yeah, what's the rush, Hedgie? You gotta slow down and smell the roses every now and then, huh?" She knew he hated when people went slow and for that reason she would usually get a ride from Sickle... but since he wasn't here... "If you really want me to go faster, you're going to have to give me a piggy back ride. I'm not gonna get my nails dirty on Moonshot's account."

"Blah... Fine, we'll walk. I don't like carrying people... most of the time." He added, recalling he almost always carried Sparky one place to another, as they were almost always onset by some sort of danger, normally it was Bullet or Moonshot, but on occasion there had been boulders or even dinosaurs. Lost in thought, Super had been standing there oddly. "Whoda thunk there be a dino down there anyway?" He blurted out, before looking at Kairi. "Uh, sorry, sorta thought out loud there. Anyway, lets go. I suppose Lea can hold the bubble long enough for us to get there." He smiled.

"Glad you're seeing this logically, Super." She said, smiling at the thought of getting her way. She walked calmly toward their destination. And tried to strike up a little conversation. "So.... come up with any new inventions lately? Or at least fix the toaster in Sickle's apartment?" She still called it Sickle's Apartment even though she was probably there more than he was on average.

"Well, the toaster is sorta on hold until I can convince Sickle to make improvements on it." He smiled. "Like, I think I can tweak it to work in about five seconds rather then a minute or two, and I've been tinkering with a new way to condence items like fruit into data, so I could make food from some data, and then it can make toast!" He said. The severe fairy tale of it all sounded highly impossible, but with Super, who was a little nuts when it came to inventing things, anything was possible, and nothing was safe. Normally the results for his obscure attempts for making the most easy way of doing things often ended in explosions. But he bounced right back.. normally. "Sooo.... It'll be a little while longer, sorry." He ended.

"Alright." Kairi said with a nod. She then glared at him a little. "Just don't use any of MY food for your experiments. I don't want to come home to find all of my yogurt burnt again." Her expression softened. "You must be a scientific genius. The first person in the history of the world to burn yogurt..."

"Actually, Sickle Burned Yogurt first. When we were shopping, he bought one of those electric lighters that you use for camping, and was playing around with it. Long story short he cought the tiolet paper on fire which burned the yogurt." He explained, defending his honor. He tapped his chin, "I suppose I can always just buy food for my experiaments next time." He murmered as the turned the corner, Lea within sight of this street.

"I don't know what you two would do if Sparky and I weren't around." She shuddered at the thought of the two boys accidentally destroying the city while trying to improve Sickle's television or something. "Scary thoughts, Hedgie, scary thoughts."
