Onyx glanced at Moonstone.

"her father married our mother in this world. Simon is Cymarron in most aspects except he's human here. not a Vah. and he's alive. she was taking while he was gone..but I'm sure he know bout mother's death. and if he's anything like the dad we have back home..he's on a killing rampage heading this way."

"Yay! Sister! And causin!" She giggled. "it feels good to have family again." Although she didn't understand what Eser...Emeld...Emmie meant about them being boys. "Mommy's name was Rachel.""

Moonstone blinked. "Really?" He stared off in the distance for a moment. "He's either on a murdering rampage, or a stealthy and deadly hunt. He won't know who we are, perhaps it would not be a good idea to be...caught by him."

A look to the little girl. "That's why she smells so much like mom." He mussed Esmeralda's hair. "He means Rand in this world."

He smiled at her. "I think you can restrain yourself. After all, you wouldn't want to mar such a beautiful Vah face, would you?" He put a fist to his mouth as he yawned. "It's quite possible your father is here. But who knows where he could be? Labyrinth is a pretty big place. Your Pop cpuld be on the other side of the world."

"Daddy is comming, He'd never leave me behind! He told me so!"

"Awe, you usually avided the face though." He flexed his bicep. "Scars in other places look good."

He stood up and stretched, yawning and showing his large white fangs. "Well, my rest has been disturbed, I'll never sleep now. Shall we head down to the colleseum?"

"Ah well. Friends of a feather flock together. Our auara's probably drew on each other."

He did not know if Onyx would come, so he would leave Bode with him. She didn't need to be out ont he streets anymore then she had too. There could be more "bad people" out there.

He moved into the hallway, down the stairs and out the door. He looked up, and found that their was an overcast sky. "Look at that. they get cloads underground."

He took his head from the clouds and put a hand on her shoulder. "this way, my friend." They weaved their was through the crowed, which had grown thicker then when they were last outside. Onyx's lizard hadn't been tied up anywhere, but strange enough he had followed them to the inn, and stood outside the door, waiting for the two to return to him.

It was easy to find the coleseum, as it towered almost as tall as the castle its;ef. The banners tied to it were larger, and fluttered in the breeze. Moonstone swept a hand in front of him. "The coleseum. A grand palce of adventure, challeng, and intrigue." The bent to her ear and whisper, "or cheating, which ever way you prefer to look at it."

"Which is odd, because the words "loyal" and "Onyx" don't really fit." Then he heaved a sigh. "Yes well, not everybody was brought up the way we were, now were they?"

Inside the large enterance was croweded with betters. On a large chalboard all of the contestans names were written and their events, and their odds at winning. Moonstones odds were about half, considering he only one or two events to participate in. Onyx's were low, seeing as how he was fighting against Malik in several of the competitions. Every body had a few bets under their name, but none more so the Piper, Malik, and the gaurds.

Just beyond that, a ramp wound it's way around the building bringing people to higher and still high levels. At the bottom, there was a direct entrance to the coleseim grounds. A huge pit filled with sand, stone pillars spanned the areana, their tweleve tops flat, and statues of past champions tanding on top of some."
