You might also try checking with game shops and arcades in your area. Even if they don't host, they may post or advertise for DDR contests.

Ok. I have all of the DDR's for the Ps2. I can pass most of them. The two that I can not pass are the legend of max and parinoia Hades. But... my question is about the song Bag. How does somebody actually play that song on normal speed. It screws with my brain if I do not speed it up x5.

You make me so cruel Ok. I have all of the DDR's for the Ps2. I can pass most of them. The two that I can not pass are the legend of max and parinoia Hades. But... my question is about the song Bag. How does somebody actually play that song on normal speed. It screws with my brain if I do not speed it up x5. Lots o practice. Personally I can read it fine, and can do fairly decent on 0.5x speed as well. Helps to know that the only actual jump in the song is the last step.

Does anyone know which version of DDR on the PS2 has the most old school 70's and 80's music? I know it's a wierd question, but I'm trying to find one for my mom. I just got her started on DDR, but she doesn't like most of the music on Supernova or Supernova 2. Extreme 2 seems to have a lot on it, but that's the only other one I've tried.

millianth mile Try Max2, that's a good one Yes, with its grand total of 3 "old school" songs. rolleyes If you have a Wii, Hottest Party is supposed to have a good number of older songs, though I personally prefer to avoid it like a plague. She might enjoy it though.

Thanks! I think she wants to get a Wii, so Hottest Party might be a good choice, I just don't know anything about the Wii versions - all I have is the PS2 . . . oh, and a useless PS3 that I can't use for DDR sad Anyway, thanks! I'll check out Max2 - I think they have it used at my gamestop.

Max 2 is good, but as I said, it's not gonna be good for getting her into DDR at all. >_> Songlist for Hottest Party and Hottest Party 2.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't thought to check for songlists on wikipedia (duh moment . . .). I'll email it to her - she enjoyed the game so much at my house, I'd love for her to get to play it at her home ^_^

How is it that in Japan, DDR SuperNOVA 2 has all the good planet songs, including MARS WAR 3 and Jupiter, and other songs like Paranoia Hades, yet the US version has those songs spread out into the newsest DDR addition, DDR X?
:C
Just curious. I have both games, anyway. ;D

I don't think there's any reason for it, other than to make sure they have another game to bring out here (which makes no sense). That or Konami actually cares about import sales.

Jam Fizzle i have a question! so you know how there is a workout mode? how accurate is the calorie count? cause it seems pretty high to me, but i'm not entirely sure... I myself would imagine it depends on the way you play.... look at the peoples who play like they're having a seizure for instance... i bet they burn what the game says their burning... but as for people who are more coordinated i'll say..... they conserve their energy better while playing. so its all really a matter of the energy you use while playing.
wake up and eat 1000 calories then go play ddr for awhile until it says u burned em! i think this could be good weight loss lol but dont take my word for it im just a guy
