(( -just starts a post from a newer day?- ))
It had been a long time since the hybrid demonic rattlesnake had met the love of his life and started a relationship she denied to accept in manners. However, it didn't really upset him. He loved her, and inside knew she loved him. Though they had tiffs and everything.. it was only natural for two hot-heads to go through.
Rolling from his bed, it was already warm for it being morning. All it did was give him the energy to be the same lovingly hyped snake he truly was. But... he didn't really express it in the same manners as others. Slipping the small cotton sash around his waist, he gave a wide stretch and glanced down to his bed, a warm smile spreading his lips.

He had to fight the smile pursing his lips at the rustle under the covers as the dragoness has shifted. It was obvious she was awake to a small measure.
"Would you like coffee or breakfast Solstice?" He always asked now out of consideration... and pure enjoyment of showing how much she meant to him.
Long wings giving an un-volentary stretch, he turned a bi to crack the many bones in his spine and tail.

coffee...black. >>and just like always, this pulled her bright green eyes open, head popping out of the sheets to blink blurrily at him. Funny how she had taken to sharing his bedroom with him. She yawned silently and shifted a bit more under the blankets. Too late to deny that she was awake, but too sleepy to just get up and start doing things<<

He gave a nod and did as he normally did. Slithering out the door, he went on the search for the kitchen.
It seemed whatever she wanted, he'd get in a heartbeat.
His heart and soul were completely for her and he'd show it only in the smallest ways.
It had taken some time. You'd figure he'd know where it was by now.. but the most of the times, his head was full of Solstice. She really had him around her finger.

The dragoness only kept a few things here, not one to move into Sets room so technically still living in the forest. But since she slept here basically every night...a few things were needed. Solstice played that thought around in her mind a little bit. Moving in perminatly with Set...she chuckled and shook her head. Like that would ever happen<<

Returning, his hands holding the frail seeming blue glass cup filled with the black house blended coffee; his golden eyes shifted to his pale love sitting on the bed with an amused expression on her face.
This caught his interest. Moving towards her, he set the cup down on the night stand and shifted to relax on his large serpent body.
"Something funny?" He poked verbally.
If she was laughing... she was either thinking of how dumb he was or little bunnies being killed.

Usually when she spoke like that it meant something.
"Oh, well... if you don't want to mention..." He passed off and looked away.
It was kinda strange that she was staying every night with him and without really calling his place 'home'.
He did however want to start the family it seemed their relationship was leading towards. She had become closer to him, and with each passing day, he grew to love the cold dragon more.
"Anything you want to do today?" He changed the flow of thoughts.

Not really... walk outside, swim, fly around... >>she shrugged<< I don't care that much as long as you come with. >>solstice had come to express her feelings in subtle guestures herself. A careful placement of words, staying in his bed every nice, things of that nature. She yawned, taking another sip. He enjoyed hearing that. It was the small things she said that made him feel the love he so sought for from her.
Resting his hands on his serpent like body, he shifted and stood fully on it and decided to shift into legs.
The same bright light appeared as his scaled human legs formed from the once was long tail. Stumbling a bit, he was still a but vertigo'd from the normal usage of a long body.
"I do enjoy swimming now that I can control my human legs. Shall we go for a swim?" He smiled.

Looking down to his bare legs and exposed... um... yeah. He turned fast and shook his head to her comment.
"You wouldn't think that if you were part snake." He snapped in a half laugh.
It didn't bother him, it actually felt nice to have legs... he didn't feel so strange beside her when he looked more like the Incubus he partly was.
Funny... now that he thought of it... He was part of a demon who lusted after sexual favors and such.. yet he was not interested in such things. His mother was a rolling lover, one man to another. However, Set was devoted to Solstice.
Yet.. they'd done almost nothing.
"You know if we had kids... they'd be like me and would have to change their body too one day." He blurted out without thinking.
Lifting his head in shock, he could feel the small hairs on the abck of his neck standing on end.
She hated that idea.... and he expected a punch to the back of the head.
