Aussi openned his eyes and rolled them at Richard, before his hand gave his a squeeze and brought it up to his chest, over his own heart as his eyes closed. "I cannot promise I will not fall asleep as this day has been rather dull for me. So if you do not mind my slumber, then please by all means go right ahead." His voice and tone were always harsh but the hold that he returned to the wolf's hand spoke of his loneliness.

:Richard blushed as the gecko sqeezed his hand.The wolf nuzzled into Aussi's hair :"I do not mind, you probably look even more beautiful asleep.":The wolf's other hand took of his sword and tossed it to the ground.Turning on to his back. He wrapped an arm around Aussi and slowly pull him into the his chest.Then he began to pet Aussi's copper hair.His other hand never left the gecko's :"Once upon a time......"

Aussi however did release Richard's hand as he settled himself against the wolf's chest, preparing for a nice logn rest. The lull of his voice could be rahter soothing. However, his paranoia kept him awake, and alert. And even though his face was peaceful, his body was stiff, and tense. He seemed on complete alert as he listened.

:Richard noticed the gecko's tense behavior,but continued the story still strokeing the gecko's hair.Aussi had been hurt badly before.Richard would let Aussi take as long as he needs.Richard was in no rush, he would wait forever to have the gecko's trust and his heart.:"And they lived happily ever after.":Richard looked down at Aussi and smiled.The wolf checked to see if the gecko had indeed fallen asleep:

Aussi just moved to sit up from Richard at the end, looking rather serious as he sat there with a nonchalant expression. A cool stare was shot his way. "Now what is it that you want of me, Wolf Boy?" His voice was completely apathetic.

:Richard leaned up on his elbows:"I want to be near you.I want to get to know you and become your friend.":Richard looked into the gecko's unseeing eyes:"I want to see you happy and be there to protect that happiness.":Richard waited to see if this sutle way of telling the gecko he wanted to love and be loved by him was rejected or allowed to continue.In Richard's mind He belonged to Aussi now and would do what the little gecko wanted.:

Aussi turned and faced him, those crocodilian eyes piercing through that single blue eye. With his hand he reached out and touched upon the armor that covered his chest. "Why do you wear this?" It seemed neither recieved nor rejected. His voice was unchanged from its emotionless tone. His demeanor was not even curious. Just serious as he stared at him.

Aussi scoffed and shrugged his shoulders. "Why hide them? They are part of your past and part of growing with experience. There is never such a thing of having too much experience." His hand came out and touched carefully, gently on the eyepatch. "And this?"

:The wolf raised his hand to touch Aussi's hand to the eye patch.:"This is the price I paid for being filled with hate at someone who took what was mine.":He sounded far away and so sad.He lifted the eyepatch to reveal a several cuts going across a clouded eye that had no pupil.Someone had burned the sight out of his eye and then sliced the lid and part of his face.He hoped that Aussi could not see how disgusting it truly was,that he truly was.His blue eye kept a close watch to see if Aussi would try and flee form his face.:

Aussi looked so intense as he stared for a minute. His hand carefully moved to the several slash marks on his face, carefully tracing them to get a better understanding of what it must be like. The leopard gecko male then moved in even closer. Closer and closer slowly he leaned over, until he kissed with rather a soft gentle kiss just below the eye. The leopard gecko then moved back from Richard slowly so that he was exactly where he had started from. "Hatred has not been a kind thing to you, Wolf Boy." He then asked in a low tone. "Does everyone just call you Richard?"

"Hmph! Nothing to thank me for." Still always the cold one as he turned to lay near Richard. From appearance, it would look like Aussi was staring straight into Richard's chest, as he curled near that area being far too short and shy to come near any more. "Well, Rick, you're not going to be very happy if you choose to be near me. I give you that warning now." His voice was apathetic and yet it was the truth. "So I give you this moment to leave."

"Me? Happy? Don't make me laugh. I will never be happy." As the wolf moved around him, and Aussi felt the squeeze, without even thinking, the gecko pushed and wiggled from the grasp and was almost free when the kiss to his forehead made him just freeze and blush brightly. He sighed and shook his head, returning to his previous position without a fight this time. "Your funeral. I tried to warn you." His useless eyes closed. "What is your favorite color, Rick?"
