Hotari nodded and let her eyes fall shut a moment as she tried to silently contact Miyoko. She nodded and looked to Ero, moving to take her hand. Shall we be on our way then?

Charlotte entered the lush thick forest,twigs broke and cracked as her weight shifted from one to the other,sinking into any rotting folige that was underneath.
The forest of which she was travelling had seemed to go on forever and sunlight had rarely touched her already pale skin, ivory coloured hair had at first seemed to brighten the surrounding darkness that surrounded every turn or point in the blasted forest and she had grown fond of the ever restless sounds that floated across her way from seemingly no where. The name of the forest eluded her and she had named it a name of her own accord. Though this name changed at her whim when she got board calling is whatever she chose. A spider like hand reached out to untangle a stray hair out of a grasping tree branch which had latched on to it. Humming she continued her walk closer to what she thought might be the end. Of course this area was just another part of the vast gardens that surrounded an area of the underground and she hoped to find a small resting spot somewhere to lie.

Needing to get out of the manor, Ray along with her familiar, Meir, made their was to the lush gardens. A large man in full plate followed the elf, not looking happy at all. How does she keep dragging me along to these places? Ray hummed lightly as Meir sat on her shoulder, his tail curled around her neck. Stupid pet... Why the hell won't it just go away? Drake sighed and just continued to follow.

Charlotte broke out of the forest like area,faltering only to unhook her dress from yet another low lying tree branch. the diresct sunlight hit her immediantly and she raised an arm to protect her eyes as they adjusted to the almost blinding light. at first glance she could only make out the larger trees,moving into the shadow of a particularly large one she unshielded her eyes and took a look around her. A large field of green,lush gress erupted before her and only stopped to give way to flowers that had been potted in an ornate fashion.
benches had been placed around the perimeter for the enjoyment of others and she headed towards one. It was only then she spotted a couple,one male and female. The male being clad in a full metal plate. A small animal curled around the female's neck.

Her pointed ears twitching, Ray looked around, thinking she had heard something. Her keen eyes then spotted a pretty girl emerging from the forest and she wondered why the girl had been in there to begin with especially in such a lovely dress. Drake only looked at the girl, not really seeming interested. "Hello there!" She wanted to sound friendly, hoping Drake wouldn't scare her off.

charlotte looked over to the two people.the femal calling over.a smile spread across her face and she started walking towards them.

The female seemed friendly enough yet the man....

Meir chirped at the girl, his jeweled eyes sparkling in the sunlight. "I saw you coming from the forest. Do you live in there?" She couldn't quite imagine her living there. She looked as if she belonged in a palace somewhere. "Oh...and my name is Ray. This is my familiar, Meir," she added, the little puesdodragon chirping again. "And the hulking man here is my friend, Drake." She nudged him with her elbow and Drake nodded. "Hello."

Sighing against the cooling air, Ray made her way back to the gardens with only Meir as her companion. The sky was clouded over, the leaves of the trees around her changing color and falling off. She was glad she had taken her black cloak with her. She had just come from an arguement with Drake and both needed to cool off. It's what she got for spending so much time around him.

Yi Xian walked through the gardens, not paying too much attention to the soft autumn colors. It was undoubtably beautiful but he had spent so much time in the woods that it was just as natural to him as breathing. His heavy axe hung over one shoulder and he wondered idily why so many people thought him odd to be able to lift it one handed. And then there were the people who thought him slightly masochistic for carrying it at all with those stories of wolves and hunters. Odd people really, why wouldn't he want something deadly to carry with him like a weird kind of teddy bear.
The wolf lifted a furry eyebrow when he noticed Ray and lifted a hand in the air to wave to her. It was nice to see someone after having gone around alone for so long.

Ray had heard someone coming her way before she had seen the person, her keen ear twitching slightly. Meir hunched over slightly when spotting the wolf-guy, Ray twisting around. When spotting the axe upon his shoulder, she instantly reached for her sword, thinking that he was there to attack her. It would have been a bit faster than a spell. "It's hard to sneak up on an elf, you know."

The wolf chuckled darkly, not minding that a sword had been drawn on him. It happened too often for him to make a fuss about something like that. You carry around weapons and it was bound to happen.
"If I wanted to sneak up on you, believe me I wouldn't be crunching my way through the leaves to get to you." Yi Xian tapped his chin in thought. "Although I didn't realize until you turned around that you're an elf. I couldn't see your ears from behind too well. You're kinda lucky that you can use that to your advantage."

Meir hissed at the guy, his tail swaying, ready to lash out if need be. Ray, on the other hand, relaxed a little but still kept her hand on the hilt of her sword just in case. "My ears aren't my only way to detect another's presence. I am a high mage after all." Of all the things she'd seen before, she never remembered seeing a kind of werewolf or wolf hybrid before.

Yi Xian's ear twitched and he grinned at the new piece of knowledge. So she could fight as well as cast spells? Well wonders never ceased to amaze him. There was something to be said for a person who would focus on the mental as well as the physical. He wondered if there was a way to sneak up on a mage and scratched his chin in thought. There had to be a way now if only she didn't have that familiar to warn her as well...
"Is that some sort of hatchling dragon on your head? I've never seen any that were tamed..."
