When Danburite didn't immediately turn, Zoisite continued to speak. "This fight is over, my love," he said quietly, stepping closer to Danburite's side. One arm found it's way to Danburite's back, while Zoisite's other hand rested on the shoulder closest to Zoisite. "Let's leave them for now, we can return later."

"Indeed," was all Danburite murmured, a little surprised by Zoisite's slight display of affection. With one last look towards Endymion, Danburite gave a two fingered wave-like salute. "Next time we meet, you will not be so lucky to receive our mercy," he told his former prince. Turning, with a dramatica= flare of his cape, he stepped between the dimensions and entered the Dark Kingdom.

Zoisite followed, and upon entering the Dark Kingdom had to repress a shiver. It was the same as it was before, only now that he was no longer under Beryl and Metalia's control he could barely stand to be there. Even so, he was relieved to finally be out of his Master's presence, the guilt he felt somewhat diminished now.
Now he had to deal with Danburite. Zoisite thought that by returning to the way he used to act around Danburite, especially in private, he could eventually develop more control over him. It would be the first step to getting him to leave the others alone. 'Or am I just thinking that because I still want to be with him, despite everything?'

Once within the confines of the Dark Kingdom, Danburite removed himself from Zoisite's reach, turning to face his former lover with a serious look on his face. "There is much to discuss before we can start our lives here in the Dark Kingdom. Things you need to know if you are going to survive here, Zoisite."
While waiting for the white haired man to respond, Danburite took a moment to look him over once more. Would what Danburite needed to say shock him? Or would Zoisite be infuriated that Danburite had not told him sooner that he had left Beryl in charge, so to speak, while he went about doing as he pelased? He was not sure what the out come would be but he would not be against threats to make Zoisite comply with this portion of the plan.

Zoisite was confused. "What do you mean?" he asked. It wasn't as though this was his first stay in the Dark Kingdom, he knew how to survive.

"While you are here," Danburite started, not sure how to phrase what he had to say, "there is another in place whom you have to feign loyalty to. One you cannot speak to of our relationship, of anything I have told you."
At this, Danburite started to pace. It was hard to make him uneasy, but at that moment he was. He was certain Zoisite would view his omission of Beryl as a betrayal and return to Endymion's side against his word. "Beryl is still the ruler of the Dark Kingdom. Here, you serve her. That is an order you must not break until the time is right."

"Serve Beryl?! I will neve-" Zoisite cut himself off before he said any more. His voice was too loud and would carry too far in these caves. "I will never again serve her," he whispered, showing defiance in his eyes as he looked up at his lover. "However, I will serve you, and if you say that I should feign loyalty to her, then I will, but only that."

"That is all I ask. Beryl is just a pawn, my love. She is necessary for now," Danburite said, offering up a very basic explanation. He closed the space between them quickly and quietly. When he was close enough, h drew Zoisite forcefully but gently into his arms and leaned his head in, capturing Zoisite's lips with his own.

It was too easy to allow himself to be held in Danburite's arms, to return the kiss. He wanted to lose himself in this, forget about his obligation to protect his Master, forget about his betrayal, forget about that fact that he was standing in the Dark Kingdom once more, being held by the man who had tried to kill the Master. He felt dizzy, drunk in a sense. He had to break it.
"What are you planning?" he whispered, breaking the kiss long enough to get his words out. He wasn't going to forget what Danburite had said. Next time we meet, you will not be so lucky to receive our mercy...tonight is not the time for you to die. ~*~ Daitaro dropped the spade he had been using in the garden. They had lost one. Zoisite had left, likely returned to the Dark Kingdom. Only Nephrite and Jadeite remained now.
His feet moved on their own as he left his property and walked down the street. He knew he was heading to the park, and he didn't want to. What he wanted to do was lock himself away from everything that was happening, pretend that it wasn't completely his fault that the Shitennou were falling apart.

Despite the situation, Jadeite managed to smile at Naru. He didn't want her to feel bad. Even though she had annoyed him at first, she was dealing with this situation quite well so far and he admired her for that. "You don't have to apologize."
He heard Master's order and looked down at the still unconscious Nephrite. He had never seen him like this before and he didn't like it. In fact, it made him a little bit nervous. What was wrong? With a look of concentration he crouched down next to Nephrite, trying to think of how to quickly take him to safety. He would need help. Following Master's suggestion, he looked up at Naru and spoke. "Could you please help me? We need to get him away from here as soon as possible."

Nodding, Naru crouched down on the side of Nephrite opposite to where Jadeite was standing. She was not sure how the two of them were going to get him to safety, as the unconscious man looked much bulkier than jadeite did. Naru had always thought she was strong enough, but she did not think that she could lift Nephrite any more than she thought Jadeite would be able to, with or without help.
"He looks heavy," she said, musing aloud while waiting for Jadeite to come up with a solution to their problem. "Are the two of us going to be able to lift him?" she added, sounding as skeptical as she felt.~*~ What was he planning? Was that not obvious? Danburite raised an eyebrow at the question. He had assumed it was obvious enough. The two things he wanted most were the key to his plans - revenge and power. Surely Zoisite had to know that. After all, he was probably the smartest of the Shitennou!
"Do you really need to ask, my love?"~*~ With a sigh, Usagi turned to face Artemis. She would not win this argument with Minako, especially when the other Senshi seemed to be on her side. 'Fine. I will just have to figure things out with Zoisite myself!' she thought, determined to prove his innocence. There was no way he would turn against Mamoru and if she was the only one who still believed that, then all the better when she showed everyone she was right. "Let's get started. Danburite or Mio could attack the city at any moment."

"I meant with the Master," Zoisite elaborated. "You promised me you wouldn't hurt him, and then you threatened him. Are you or are you not planning to kill him?" Maybe it was too soon to be asking such questions, the last thing Zoisite wanted to do was anger Danburite, but his Master's safety was something that needed to be assured. ~*~ Minako finally agreed with Usagi. "She's right. We need to train and we need to be ready for them. We can discuss the Shitennou later." ~*~ Daitaro's feet lead him to the park where he found Chiba-san, Jadeite, and the unconscious Nephrite. No sign of Danburite or Zoisite. There was also a girl there, she looked familiar, but Daitaro couldn't exactly place her. For the time being, he just stood there observing. Why was he even here? This wasn't his fight anymore.

"I will not kill Endymion, my love," Danburite replied in a reassuring tone. If things went accordingly, he would not have to dirty his hands with such trivial things. There were many players in his game and anyone of them would suffice.

Nephrite heard another voice a female voice. It wasn't the voice of Mercury, no it sounded like one of the girls that comes to the Crown. She was a friend to someone, but who. Then Nephrite remembered that a girl named Naru was at the scene with them. The one who hit Jadeite with her purse. Could it be her? Was she still with Jadeite? The the halls the of the Kingdom slowly vanished. He heard Zoisite's words echoed in his mind, warning him not to trust Danburite, and that he must be eliminated before all hell will break loose.
Nephrite opened his eyes. He saw Jadeite and that girl leaning over him. "Jadeite, how long was I out? I remembered something crucial, is Master still here? There is something important that I must tell him. Where is Zoisite? My head hurts like hell. Where is Ami?

"Ah... Mizuno Ami? She's not here," Naru replied. 'Could he be the one Usagi-chan keeps insisting Ami date?' she thought as she waited for Jadeite to respond to the man's other questions.
