:::Images flashed in her head. Half-thoughts, fleeting in black and red...there seemed to be a battle going on, it felt beyond her realm, and yet she somehow was compelled...involved. Winged creatures...so many of them. And she stood amidst the the toil, determined:::
:::Cora awoke with a start, she sat up in her bed...she'd been having these dreams since the last time she left the brink:::
What time is it...? :::yawn:::
:::She reached for her clock mechanism, to find that it was not there...her head darted in the opposite direction and she saw that she was back in room 37 of the Brink.
Cora flopped back down onto her pillow in a bit of a huff. Though somewhat concerned, she was greatful for the escape from her world:::
What is this place doing to me..?
:::This first rank officer recently recieved a demerit. She smiled at a little boy who waved to her while she was on duty. "If the Officers of Omega Force are to retain the respect and of the citizenry we must sustain a strict relationship. It demands all seriousness" Or so the Commisioner said:::

*A low growl filled the Brink as Tac slowly faded in, knocking over tables and chairs as he lumbers around. His horns have not grown significantly from the last time he had stopped by, as it were. He appeared to be almsot feral, his features devolved to become something closer to that of a demonic ape, but his eyes held a certain sign of intelligence, unchanged. This body may not stand up to the tests of Time, but this mind certainly shall. It was his Fate to forget, but the tests of Time will strengthen his memory forevermore. He appeared to be sniffing at the ground, looking for something, whether he knew he was in the Brink or not wasn't able to be determined.*

*The growl turned from a low muttering growl to an all out roar as he picked up the scent he was looking for, the scent of Cora. He turned towards the rooms area and began an all out run on all fours.*

*He pulled Cora into the main room. He didn't know much about the Brink. He only knew the only way to get out was to get to the keys.*
*He ran with her and yanked his key off the wall.*

*He shakes it away. No time for that.* GET IT! *He shouted to her.*

*Luke watches, terrified....and then infuriated as Cora takes a shower of bullets.*
*He lets out a shout, part bellow, part scream.* *But....she's still moving. She's still alive...*

*Tac takes a Web Grenade from his coat, takes out the pin wth his teeth, and tosses it towards them, set on impact detonation. He stops short, changing his tactics as he lifts his head and levels Orcus, reloading and firing again, this time trying to hit Lucas as best he can.*
((Web Grenade: Creates a large area of sticky goo that is extremely hard to manipulate except through burning and is sticky enough to keep a Balor Demon from moving temporarily))

:::Cora watches as a grenade and bullets race towards them.... A few bullets reach Luke and Cora before the grenade does. It goes off, and suddenly Cora feels herself jammed very violently into Luke. The rest of the bullets bounce off of the chemical substance wrapped around them:::
:::She has taken a few more hits...she squirms and tries her best get a hold of herself...she realizes that she's litterally smushed against Lucas:::
Citizen Luke, were you hit?! ::Her smushed lips manage to get out::
:::Cora suddenly feels very aware that she is only wearing a towel:::

*A bullet grazes Luke's side and hits his right arm. Blood seeps slow but thick out of Luke's side and out of his right arm.*
*Luke screams out, growling in pain. He clenches his eyes, pain searing through his body as he's thrown against the wall with Cora atop him.*
*Under normal circumstances he would be thrilled to be in this position. However, right now - he is bleeding profusely...and losing his wits.*
*words inch out* Nnnnuh, ********.... *looks down at his side to see the blood*
*A scream escapes from his lips, with a burst of adrenaline he struggles against the web, despite his injuries. His eyes are WILD. He is DETERMINED to break free. He is NOT going to ******** die here.*
