Trea turns to Cassie, not realizing that she is really a ghost (or shade?), "Why you sad?"

Cassie is silent for a long moment before answering. "I have a task before me," she says, talking to Trea not as a child, but as an equal. "I am looking for an ending. It is an ending that I want, that I need, but it's scary to end no matter how much you want it."

Kitara looks up to Jay and says, "Dang... this guy is good. My leg feels fine!"
Ktra nods, "It's my job, ma'am."
The blue-and-black haired elf smiles as he sits next to his wife.
"Now, you said you were from my doctor's?" Kitara asks.
The man nods and they continue to talk, figuring out how Ktra can help them. ---- Margem finishes off her plate and, without a word, stands up. She then starts down the path to what seems to be the beach. However, she's going to a dock near the beach to sit and think about everything. ---- Trea asks, "What do you have to do?"

Cassie says, "You've probably heard stories of spirits and the afterlife. Well, your physical body is just as important, and I've lost mine. I have to find it and bury it properly so that my spirit can rest."

Trea frowns and says, "How can you lose yourself? That's not posible. Everyone has themselves together on the outside."

"No," she says. "When you die you leave your physical body and go to the next world. However, if something happens that keeps you from moving on then you stay in this one, without a physical body. That's what happened to me. Now, in order to go to the next world I have to find my physical body."

Ktra and Jay exit the tent, Kitara following them. Once they all stand outside the tent, the couple turns to Ktra.
"Thank you so much for your help, sir," Jay says, shaking the man's hand.
At the sound of her father's voice, Trea looks up to see her parents. She smiles and starts running towards them.
Ktra nods and says, "The chopper will be here soon, to pick up the young man. You should still see Dr. Wyman, just to make sure that your son is truly safe for now."
Kitara nods and Jay wraps her up in his arms.
The Rashaden man nods once again before taking his leave and walking over to the corpse in the middle of the commons area of the sites. He stands at the man's right side then, bending down, starts to descend into the ground (feet first). His hands grab the man and he pulls him down into the ground. Ktra knows that he must go down quite a-way, but that's alright with him because it's a normal job for him, with the group he works with.
Trea finally makes it to her parents and she hugs them glad to see her mother feeling better. ---- The redhead reaches the dock, which is not connected to the swimming beach itself and has more cover. Her grey eyes scan the area, seeming sad but not quite. They are clouded over with thought as she takes a seat at the end of the dock. She slips off her sandals, putting them behind her, and dangles her feet above the water.

Cassie watches Trea go to her parents with a small smile. She looks around her at the campground and then at the list in her hand. "Well," she says to herself, "this has been fun. But I think it's about time for me to leave. It's time for me to go home."
Meanwhile, in her tent, Lael takes the still sleeping Westley's hand in hers. I hope that helicopter gets here soon, she thinks worriedly.

Ktra comes up from under the ground and, partially phasing out, makes a call to his company.
"Hello. Ktra calling in. ... How long? ... Alright then. ... The status of the patients: the one female is cured, the second female is ready for her checkup though probably cured for a clearing, and the male patient is stable. He's going to have to come in, for sure. ... Alright. .... I'll pass on the message. ... Thanks."
The Rashaden man hangs up his phone and, re-materializing, heads over to the albino woman's tent. He knocks on the tent, so to make sure that he gets the permission to enter and so that he does not scare the albino woman.

Lael opens the tent. "Yes?" she asks. Seeing that it's Ktra she continues, "Do you have news from the helicopter? He's fine for now but..." She looks over her shoulder at the sleeping Westley. "I don't think he will be for much longer. The risk for infection is so high out here."

Ktra says, ``The team's a little behind schedule. They hope to be here in about ten minutes, but that's the best they can do.´´
He lowers his eyes for a second before lifting them and saying, ``I don't want to seem rude but I notice that you are a bit attached to him.´´
------ Margem lies down on the dock, her past flooding through her mind's eye as the lake's water flows around her ankles. 'I know he means well. ...and he had to be there when Arelen gave up her life, though it was by his sword.'
She sighs and closes her eyes, ``Why does this have to happen to me? Why am I always plagued by my past and my family's deaths? ...I seem to forget about them for a while when he's around but... It always returns. Always.´´

Lael hesitates before answering. "We've known each other for quite some time now," she says. "He's my friend. But even if he weren't I'd still be worried. I'm a doctor and right now he's my patient. It's my job to keep him alive; at least until I can get him to a hospital anyway."

Ktra nods and, without saying anything else, turns around to wait for the helicopter. --- Jay comes over to Lael's tent after the Rashaden man leaves her. ``How's Westley coming along?´´
His wife stands off a ways before something comes to her mind. She goes over to her cousin's site, looking for someone. Not finding the person, she steps up to her cousin.
``Hey, cous, where's Margem? I have to talk with her.´´

"As well as can be expected, I guess," Lael responds. "He hasn't woken up yet, and probably won't for a bit. His vitals seem to be stabilizing, but he's getting feverish and I'm worried about infection. Do you want to see him?"

``A bird wanting to see a cat... What a crazy world this is,´´ Jay laughs then becomes serious. ``As long as we have a good doctor like you to care for him, I think we can be assured that he'll heal. ...and yet you don't have any herbs to take care of an infection or fever, like your greatgrandmother did?´´
