muted melodies Go French Horns and mellos. biggrin I started French Horn this summer and I'm marching mello this year. Piece o' crap I march, but it's my baby. It's an ancient king that rattles something awful, but I get the brand new Bach next year. heart Turns out my director had a surprise for me..We're getting new mellos this year! YAY!

Lucky. I have whatever mellos were left over after the seniors left. My friend got one and I sware it has this green fungus growing between the bell and tubing.

I guess I'm lucky for the fact that I own my mello. It's a Besson (USA). I thought it was cool ,because it was all by accident , my trpt is Besson (london)

My parents wouldn't buy me one, I think. They'd tell me to get the money myself. I'm going to use the school's stuff while I can.

Ibelin Our school may be good, but we don't replace our instruments until they're totally falling apart >< My mello was close to it. We got a new baritone this year, too. (My boyfriend is getting it smile ) and his baritone was so bad that if someone hit it by accident, he laughed and said "Oh no! You might dent it and make it worse!" It was in awful shape. The bell...Wasn't round and it had as many dents as..Something with about 1000 dents. biggrin
