 "Dark portals...." He blinked as Demyx called up the thing. They could do that? Maybe he would have to talk to this Xigbar person so he could figure out if he could do it.
If that ment that he could get around the castle faster that would be better.

Demyx watched the portal swirl a moment before dismissing it.
"If I could make it bigger...I could try and see if it went somewhere...but I dunno how yet."

Oh great, he'd have to explain that horrible empty feeling to someone else... Shaking his head a bit, the younger blonde walked over to Luxord. Once there he grabbed the older blonde's paw and placed it over his chest. Xigbar had let him feel the emptyness in his body...so Luxord would feel the emptyness inside Demyx's, right?
"Xigbar did this to me...he told me to close my eyes and try to search for the feeling inside....all of us have that inside...it's really strange but it feels like something is missing...like we're empty."
The younger paused a moment, allowing Luxord time to catch up.

He concentrated and tried to feel whatever it was that Demyx was talking about. It took a few moments before he did get the feeling that Demyx was missing something and, if he though about it, he could feel that from himself too.
"...your right. There is something missing."

"Everyone says we're missing hearts..."
Demyx slowly released the paw. If Luxord wanted to keep his paw there he could, but Demyx wasn't going to force it anymore.
"Anyways...Xiggy said to use that feeling to form the portals. It's...really hard to explain beyond that..."
He fidgeted slightly, tail twitching behind him. That empty feeling always set him on edge. It just felt so...wrong.
"I could only form like...black mist at first, but I'm getting better at it."

"No hearts huh." He kept his paw on Demyx for a moment. That was strange. Now he wondered what it felt like to have a heart if what he had been feeling had nothing do with a 'heart'
Taking his paw away he held it out toward the center of the room and tried to form that emptyenss into something. He didnt get anything more than a black spot before he lost it. "damn"

Demyx fidgeted more, watching Luxord try and form the portal. He was trying desperately to shake off the feeling, but at the moment it wasn't working.

Demyx gave his best attempt at a reassuring grin, forced as it was.
"Just keep trying...you'll get it sooner or later! And then we can easily get our own cookies.."
Of course, thinking of the cookies before thinking of far more useful ways to use the portals.

He reached over and fluffed the others ears. "Its not that bad....if you dont think about it." Then again Gamblers werent knowing for having hearts anyway. It wasnt much to him to think that there wasnt anything getting in the way of him ripping people off with unfair bets he knew they couldnt win

"We've had a swin, had a bath and had dinner...." So next would be curl up in a nice bed and ... well sleep after a few other things happen. Though he couldnt suggest that to Demyx, that would be ... well the smaller blond wouldnt take it well.
