KazeRin Well duh, he IS teaching the 102 Shakespeare classes. As for his answers and whatnot, I couldn't pay attention to him for long enough. He had some uncanny ability to be uninteresting. All through high school, no matter how boring the teacher was, I could pay attention forever. I got to Blott's class and I was asleep.
<3 I'm trying to figure out how the hell I ended up with HIM to begin with. I wasn't aware of him teaching 102 Shakespeare courses. That explains a lot. rolleyes sweatdrop And ditto on the High School Vs. Blott's class thing. 3nodding

KazeRin Death-Light, Vanier generally has higher entrance requirements, therefore would be a kinda silly second-choice sweatdrop What program are you going into? Some are better at dawson, some are better at vanier, some are pretty much the same.
And I know it was nothing like '98, but it worried me for a while. Large amounts of freezing rain in dec-feb has always caused me to fear another ever since. Weather has been quite odd all accross the globe; fires in France and Spain[I think], non-stop rain on the west coast of Canada/USA, -30, -5, +10, -10 all in a row here in Montreal, 6 feet of snow in Japan... It could just be El Nino/Nina, though I have no idea when the last actual one was, since almost every year some news/weather group blames the weather on that. But I think '98 was it, and it comes about every 7 years, so it's possible. Oh! Urm.. well, I still don't really understand the whole first and second choice thing.^-^;; All I know is that I prefer going to Dawson rather than Vanier, because I can get to Dawson with one bus in like 20min. As for Vanier, I would have to take the metro all the way to Cote-Vertu and walk! >_<;; There's no other reason than that. xD But like, it would be nice if you gave me some advice on cegep and all.^-^ Hm.. as for the program, I wanted to get into science, but I didn't take science classes as option this year, sec.5, so I was thinking about taking Exploration, a program offered both a Dawson and Vanier. Since you go to Vanier, I'm guessing and hoping you know what that is.
*sighs* The weather is really starting to become more and more bizarre.DanceLink Brossard is Montreal North I believe, so yes it is part of the Mega-City. @Death-light: Can you type in a different font color please? My eyes hurt when trying to read your posts. sweatdrop Brossard is Montreal North? =_=;; But isn't Brossard like south of Montreal? I'm confued.@_@
Urm..well, I wouldn't mind doing you guys a favor and change font colors but there are two reasons that keep me from doing so. One, I'm to used to it.^^;; Two, this color means a lot to me.^-^ Although, if you really really really don't like it, I'll change it.^-^ Well, to be precise, it's not yellow, but gold.^-^

The walk from either Cote Vertu or Du College isn't all that bad. I got used to it pretty quick, and I'm pretty lazy xd ;; I don't know much about which would be better for Explorations. sweatdrop I didn't even know Dawson offered it.
For choosing CEGEPs, your application and whatnot goes to your first choice. In the event they decide to not allow you in [you don't meet requirements/the program is filled/whatever] your application will go to your second choice. It is generally reccomended that your first choice is the school with higher entrance requirements. Though if you have a high enough overall average it shouldn't be a problem. But explorations has low-ish standards either way.
My brother took the Chemistry and Physics courses in 11th grade and claimed that those classes in CEGEP were pretty much the same thing. As long as you have the needed math [536, I believe] and Physical Science [436/ 416 & 20] then you should be able to go directly into Sciences.
The best thing to do is talk to the guidance counsellor in your school about it.

To get to Vanier from my place, I usually take the Train from Roxboro-Pierrefonds to Montpellier, and then walk towards the back entrance of the N-building. Takes me about 30-45 mins altogether. Not bad. biggrin

I live about 5 minutes from Cote-Vertu, 10-15 from Vanier. :B

If only my school wasn't soo much of a cheap-a** maybe it would be able to afford a guidance cousellor..=_=;;Dudley Dursley Nope, but I remember you telling m- us that you work there. ^.^ I did? xD Heh heh^^;;

I always thought my high school sucked because we only had one counselor xd ;; If you'd rather be in Dawson, then make it your first choice. If you're accepted Vanier won't even know of your existance, pretty much.

Yeah but what if you want to see how many Cegeps you'll get accepted to and then make your choice?
Or say, if you send your application, get accepted at your first choice, but then over time decide that you actually should go to your second choice?

The way the applications go for the 4 main CEGEPs here is like that as far as I'm aware. John Abbot and a few others use different application forms/methods so you can be accepted to a few places that way...
My suggestion would be to get as much information as posible about the CEGEPs before you apply. I'll do a bit of questioning this week about possibly applying to a lot of the main ones...

My school's the worst! I don't even have a counsellor. xD I don't even think we have a nurse. xD Oh well..
Oh! That would be so nice of you, KazeRin, if you could do such a thing as that.^-^ I think all english cegeps offer the exploration program except Marianopolis and I don't really care which cegep I go to for this program. All I want is to go to Marianopolis after I pass this program.^-^
