I just got back from a crew meeting/dinner. It really sucked. First, my dad came when I really didn't want him to, and I was stuck sitting next to this girl I really hate. She talks like an effing four year old, and I swear, she has the intellect of one too.
However, there was one good part of tonight. There's this guy at crew, who looks old, must be 17 or 18, and he's been hitting on me. So, we were talking, and this is what happened:
Guy: "So, what year are you? Junior? Senior?"
Me: "Freshmen."
Guy: " eek "
...
"Nevermind then."

Got news that Andy is going to Iraq in October. Which is two months after he is transferred from here to Missouri. It just kind of sucks. I told him I would go see him in September.
My family received a letter from Johnny. Turns out he doesn't know when he will be home now. He is out there for his second time. They said he would be home in August, and now they are extending it a year, which means he will spend his second birthday out there. How ******** depressing.
I just don't get it some days with this country. I don't understand the desire to always be the cop in it all, and always be the person who has to fix everything. We don't have the people, the man power, the money nor the WILL POWER to even want to do this anymore. We don't even know what it is for.

Ditto. If I were to meet me on the street and get into a conversation, I'd probably end up sucker punching me. And that would, of course, lead to fight, which plumbs the depths of existentialism to a degree that I don't want to get into, at least not when I'm supposed to be doing a french project in school. Do any of you know what le jardin de tuilerie is in Paris?
