After the short reprieve, Nictor feels a little bit more like himself again and smile sup at Bee, giving a content happy hum before standing up. A drone or two had decided to take a break nearby, taking advantage of the hulking intimidating mass Beehemoth was to keep away anyone that would ward them back to work. Just their luck that that's what Bee decided to do himself, and they found themselves being sent right back towards the fight.

Zeffer huffed and puffed and grit his teeth, more relieved than anything to see that the yellowblood had more or less escaped the acid. Closing the distance between them, he made sure to set Maneki down on a dry spot so he could stay close to Vremea while he tried to get the acid off.
"Ugh, thank you, Vremea. If we manage to get back to the front I'm going to make sure that little green ******** pays for this." The pain in his voice was thick, and he clipped his baton off and to his belt as he caught her cape. It was lucky that the battle was moving further along; fewer drones allowed the blueblood to wipe down the back of his coat and pants, soaking the sopping cape against his clothes. The water did well to dilute the acid, and though his new wounds throbbed, the stinging had subsided appreciably. He wiped down the back of his head and neck to be sure, before returning the garment.

Vremea hesitated when he thanked her, blinking in surprise before nodding and fussing over Maneki in the mean time, checking to see if he had any parts of him that were hurt. She checked with his hair, horns, clothes-- All was fine, so far. Glancing back to Zeffer, Vremea gave him a raised eyebrow before placing it on the floor. "It is full of acid, but thank you." Vremea stated, lifting the kid up in her arms, keeping him hidden behind what was left her cloak. "I might go back to see if any rebels need healing or if I can see any of my companions." She said, looking behind them toward other rebels. "I will be back however, should I go." She didn't want to leave them alone.

He heard Keionx's coughing beside him. That at least told him she was alright. Stumbling closer, his hand braced on her shoulder slightly squinting through his blurry vision. "come on..i've got you." he moved with her trying to find them a place safer than the one they were at currently...having to feel along the wall to get a sense for where he was going.

From nowhere - well, not nowhere. It was pretty loud in this blasted cave. Still, unexpectedly, there was a voice. A silver flute. And...it was definitely calling Dictys' name, and in a very familiar voice, too. "Abrila? Is that you?" Dictys dragged the nearest drone in the direction Abrila's voice was coming from. "That's her!" ey hissed, probably rather unnecessarily.
"Abrila! I'm coming for you, and I'm bringing someone to help -"

Chiara tries rallying up some drones!
Of course her lusus just had to fail right in front of her again. I guess quillbeasts just were not meant for battle... i guess that made cents actually... Either way Chiara was not a happy troll. She glared around at all the kid trolls, some helping drones, others blasphemy attacking drones! Chiara would have to remember those traitors. In the mean time tho, all she could do was continue yelling at the drones she was in yelling range of.
"It's a team name, you know! Not like, a giant snake monster or anything." Etsali rushed to make sure she hadn't accidentally terrified the kids too badly. Once she was sure she had that settled (okay, she wasn't sure but it was the best she could do), she motioned them on. "Alright, so here's the deal. You gotta step light, be as sneaky as you can, alright? I think my friend might be hurt and I need to check on them. So stay behind me and- Well if I tell you to run, you know what to do, right?"
Nodding to them with a reassuring smile, she began to lead the way towards where she'd last heard Luxara shout. It took some time, and it wasn't easy, but at last she thought she saw...There! "Xara! Anguis! Are you alright?" She'd seen splatters of the acid still nearby, though the gas was thinning. "Were you in that stuff!?"
The edge of the orangeblood's panic dulled as the pile of rocks was revealed to be just a pile of rocks, but that didn't stop her from wondering where Dictys had gone.
Foolish, really. Ey was a highblood. A privileged seadweller child who still had their lusus! It wasn't her job to care about such trolls. Or any other trolls than herself, really. She tried to shake off the feeling by aiming another attack at the rebel commander and her forces as they passed by. Her aim was true and did a fair amount of damage where she hit, but it wasn't quite enough of a distraction.
How odd. Maybe she had hit her head harder than she thought. Clearly she didn't know what she was thinking. Her head did feel heavy, but maybe it was the uneven weight it now held.
Then, she heard her name called out. A sound just barely audible over the roar of battle but she heard it just the same. Abandoning further attacks for the moment, she dashed in it's direction.
Dictys!
A strange feeling (relief?) washed over her as she spotted the kid and some drones ey apparently had recruited. Ey looked a bit shaken, perhaps, but otherwise unharmed.
"Y-you're all right!" Abrila blurted gracelessly, took a few more steps forward, and stopped before she made herself feel more awkward than she already felt. Then, not knowing what to do at that point, she saluted the group and tried to stand up tall, but she was forced to use her shovel to steady herself.

Cerpin Sugall It seemed like a strange team name but Cerpin supposed it was intimidating so not bad. Sneaking was not his forte, what with his loud personality and flashy outfit but he would do his best since survival was involved. They made it through the crowd to two battle-worn trolls, the muscly one looked miserable.
"H-hey, cover your mouth with this." He didn't really want to do this but it was becoming clear that these trolls were his best chance out of here and there was likely to be more s**t clouding up the air. Pulling his cape off his back, the troll sadly tore up the proud purple fabric and handed a rag out to Etsali, Tevini, Luxara and Anguis for protection. It wouldn't do anything for their eyes but they had to keep their lungs from getting worse!
"Is he going to be okay?" He looked at Luxara, the girl that was trying to support Anguis's weight and nervously took Tevini's hand in case she was starting to freak out internally. The redblood had been pretty scared earlier, this kind of scene would not help her nerves.

Tevini followed Etsali and Cerpin through the crowd quietly while trying to stop crying. Super embarassed that she'd freaked out over a team name, the girl wiped at her face to fix herself into looking a little less pathetic when they met up with Etsali's comrades. She had no idea what to expect but hoped that with Etsali vouching for them they would be in safe hands.
"!" Two trolls came into sight and it was clear they were the ones Etsali was looking for when they met up. The taller boy looked terrible and she wondered if he'd really be up for running out of this place. There wasn't much she could do to help with his wounds. Glancing over to the female troll, Tevini was impressed at how she'd managed to help the heavier troll over. It looked like it'd been a struggle but hey she'd made it! As the everyone fussed over what to do now, the curly haired girl debated on what she could offer.
"When Scuttle comes back, he could carry him." It wasn't much but her lusus was basically a big table on wheels. The teen boy wouldn't be able to fit inside but he could lay on top for as long as they needed!
And there he was, bumping his way back from Kursha through the crowd! Knocking another drone out of the way, Scuttle returned and glanced at the two new troll curiously. Allowing Tevini to fill him in, the lusus moved closer to the injured troll if they decided to take up the offer but wasn't offended if a different plan was suggested.
Scuttle has taken down 1 drone!

Amazing how smoke could take so much out of a person. It wasn't the acid, though. That took out pure rock. "Okay, let's keep moving. I-I think I heard her before. She's coming. We're trying to find Ets. I'm sure she'll know where to find her. Okay?"
Trying to pull Anguis forward, it was a relief to finally see Etsali again. She looked okay, too. But... "You've got squirts! Uh, hey." A surprise! Where did these kids come from? "Thanks for the cape, but I've got my coat. That's sweet of you, though." Especially for a highblood.
She looked at Etsali again. "Keep the kids back, there's gas around here. It hecked Anguis up. I'm trying to keep him moving, but it's doing a number on him." Luxara's usual default grin broke down a little as she looked up at him. Then, a thought passed through her. "Have you seen For? Is she nearby?" HP: 11/20 Attack: 1 Inventory: Agility trinket

"That's right, keep going! The rebels are just down there and you have to go get them for us to kill!" Lorata urged her drone on, though the poor thing was starting to limp. It was too bad she hadn't found anyone else heroic nearby.
With the way she had sounded before Athene decided to keep quiet this time, simply listening to Vos. She was comforting and it felt good, even if she shouldn't have to go through this at all. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes but Athene held them back. She would cry later, when she had the time. This was not the place.
She glanced down at the younger troll's touch, then looked up to smile back at her before gently removing her hand from the pile. She needed to go check and make sure they wouldn't be attacked. That was her mission, to protect them now.
