Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "Looks like that Ogre's the last of the demons accompanying the Bud. If I can eliminate it, you should be able to escape back to Ronaldo and the others. Be ready to move." Gin pushed the button on his phone, and Kobold went rushing forward with weapon in hand, clashing with the Ogre. Gin dashed outwards and circled around the demon, who's eyes followed him every step, eager to draw blood. He was taking an unnecessary risk himself, but the path was clear for the others. "Go! Now!" Gin's voice carried throughout the whole park, and the civilians went running the moment he gave his queue, leaving the Survivor and his demon to try and overcome the Ogre, even tired as they were. Eiji "Gin" Mishima Gin felt power coursing through his body. He'd received a request from a squad of JPs agents nearby to help them deal with a demon, but the creature turned out to be far friendly than he imagined. His hair was standing on end, and his eyes' color had shifted...he knew that something had entered his body, not unlike the invasion the Shadows had tried to pull off before. But his strength was only growing, not warping...whatever this spirit was, it wanted help. "It looks like this demon's quite angry with the Buds roaming the territory. You guys have nothing to fear, but...give it a wide berth." Gin warned, glancing over at the JPs agents. The demon was clearly unhappy with them, perhaps due to being sealed in the past, but it wasn't a spiteful feeling. He knew that with this power they could protect this park, as long as he was willing to act as it's envoy...and that was something he would risk, for the sake of others. Eiji "Gin" Mishima Gin raised his phone as another lightning bolt arced forward and vaporized the demon in front of him. He was beginning to get use to 'Cracking' skills, and they were quite useful against the servants of the Megrez Buds, although he still missed his Persona and it's useful abilities as well. His Kobold was a pale comparison to the Gilgamesh he usually summoned, but he was making use of any tools he could acquire. He had to, because saying 'but if I was stronger' wouldn't save lives...only acting to grow stronger would. "Quick, don't let a single beast escape!" Gin motioned and his demon lashed it's weapon against the back of the last fleeing demon, making sure that it didn't attempt to escape to the safe zones for humans. Security was the biggest priority right now, especially with it in such short supply, and he refused to allow his desire to gain power to put others in harm's way. Every demon he encountered had to be eliminated, to prevent hurdles along the way. Quote: Gin defeats minor demons. Current Demons: Kobold (+4 levels)

Eiji "Gin" Mishima A swathe of fire erupted around the group of demons, consuming them in a blaze of hellish fire. Gin was adapting his tactics to the types of enemies they were dealing with for the time being, and it seemed that group attacks were much better for eliminating them without hassle. Then again, few of them held significant power, which meant that he had to keep in mind the impending threat of a greater demon...and not be cocky when it happened. "Kobold, return!" Gin pressed a button on his phone and his demon disappeared into data, returning to his phone just as quickly as it had come. Quote: Gin defeats minor demons. Current Demons: Kobold (+4 levels)

Eiji "Gin" Mishima There was a JPs barricade around Inaba, but it was coming under increased threat. Yamato Hotsuin, the head of the faction, had sent a message to Gin's phone, and he'd desired to help them defeat the latest wave, but these demons were far beyond the level of those who'd gotten further inside of Inaba. He was beginning to see just what a big deal their protection truly was, but this rash of demons was beginning to overwhelm...a fact that forced him to focus, putting his demons in overdrive. "Fall back! The demons can't be allowed to control this area. The residential district is just behind here. If we can just kill their leader, the demons should become much weaker." Gin smashed a demon across the face with his tonfa, wincing as it disappeared in a blur of data and blood. These battles were no less life and death than the ones he'd been through before, but there was a ferocity to demons Shadows lacked...and a cruelty that even Strega seemed to fail to match. Eiji "Gin" Mishima Gin leaned against the wall of a building near the barricade, taking a few deep breaths as he felt all his muscles crying out. "We...huff...did it...hah..." They'd managed to overcome the new threat from demons, if only by a hair. The demons were stronger than the ones yesterday, or the day before, and he knew that the threat would only intensify, but...could people keep up with this? Some had that talent, perhaps, but if the threat only continued to increase then the casualties would as well. Eiji "Gin" Mishima "Good work, Mishima. I'm sorry we laid this burden on you, but I hope you'll let us rely on you again." Makoto's words conveyed her sincerity, and Gin smiled as she gave him a worried glance. He raised a hand and waved off her concerns, causing her to frown a bit as she wondered if she was being rude. Before she could say something though, he made sure to return a quick remark, and offer his own gratitude. "No, please don't mind it Sako. I want to be of help in any way I can. I want to protect the people of this town, even if it means fighting against what others believe is right. I know JPs is doing its best, so there's no way I could accuse you of putting me in a tight spot." Makoto's reassuring smiel a moment later let him know that he'd said the right thing, and she bowed her head with another 'thank you' to show her gratitude. It must have been difficult acting as the lieutenant of a man like Hotsuin, but Makoto was exactly the type of individual they needed. She was kind, caring, and her views seemed like they conflicted with the rest of JPs a bit, but...she managed to walk the fine line well. In truth, the most he could say was that he felt his heart breaking for her, trapped between her sense of duty and the feelings she truly hid in her heart. "Thank you. I know a lot of people want JPs to help more, but...we're already stretched to the limit. So I mean it. You're invaluable...and thank you." With people like her around, there was something good to be said about JPs after all. He knew that much, after fighting on the front lines with them... Quote: Gin has a heart to heart with Makoto. Yes ma'am, we've already secured the supplies inside, but it looks like these demons could be a threat to agents elsewhere. I'll engage immediately." Gin's phone clicked shut as he finished his conversation with Makoto, and he raised his phone to blast away a rather large Wendigo. The demon was imposing at first glance, but lacked the true might of several of the higher tiered beasts he'd seen already. He couldn't defeat them yet, but the sight of htem showed him just how high the bar had already been raised. And agents like Sako were dealing with them on a daily basis, meaning...he needed to do a lot of improving, to end up their equal. "You're a bother, demons! Get out of my way!" Eiji "Gin" Mishima "All of the demons near our headquarters have been eliminated. I'll report back at once." Gin breathed heavily as he reported in on the aftermath of the situation, more than a few demons lying defeated before him. He'd wondered if any would end up trying to surrender, but much to his surprise even the last of the demons was willing to duke it out to the death. It wasn't strange to them, he supposed, but the Wendigo had definitely been the biggest hitter in the bunch. When it went down, he hoped they'd disburse. This sort of tenacity was why they were so dangerous...and why he'd protect Inaba, no matter what that might mean he ended up defeating. "I might go towards the school after this. There are several people I know in the vicinity. Even if JPs doesn't approve...you'll allow it? Thank you, Makoto." Gin breathed a sigh of relief at her response. He didn't want to be enemies, but the threat to anyone was worthy of his attention, in this situation. JPs rules be damned...or it's hardass leader, at least.
