There went more arrows, and an angry little Leslie storming by to wreck the s**t out of the monster. She turned to the source of the second set, and this time she saw their source. It was a very pretty source, and her first automatic response was to smile brilliantly at the sight of her. Then she remembered what she'd done, what she was doing, and realized that Cami did not need to see her smiling. Get it together, Maebe. She told herself, forcing herself to turn away and following Leslie in to the fray to jump up and dive her trident deep into the monster's body. Barry: 110/200No, Cami did need to see Maebe smile. The reasons behind that need were why she was currently mired in an emotional muck a bit like Artax in Neverending Story. Inescapable but there was hope that maybe, just maybe, she'd come out okay on the other side. Anyone who'd seen the movie knew better though. Of course it was the distraction of the smile that had her arrow veering hard away from where it needed to be, barely nicking the damned thing. "Going back to sleep now. Wanna come, Maebe baby?" Sasha stood back and watched Otto attack with a very pleased look on her face. He was a lovely machine in motion, destruction and beauty both. When he returned to her, Sasha purred softly, elegant fingers slipping up his arm to pause at his shoulder where they formed claws. She pressed them inward, enough to where he would undoubtedly feel the bite of her nails against his flesh. "Good boy," she purred quietly, pulling away so that she could dart in for her own attack. Suffering another blow from the infected was nothing more than a mild annoyance, and soon enough Sasha returned to Otto's side. Barry: 83/200Okay, she had to give him credit for insulting Rep. He was still sass mouthing Cami, but at the very least, she was the kind of woman who could handle a harmless motor mouth. She laughed, her laughter hitching when she realized Cami was winking at her, and pursed her lips in conflict. It wasn't so bad, was it? Harmless flirting wasn't going to hurt anyone. It wasn't. Was it? She'd gone too long trying to decide whether she was in morally acceptable boundaries, and the monster knocked her off of her perch on it's head. She growled, and stabbed it right on one of it's feet. Then She winked at Cami. Because she was going to be an adult about this. It wasn't his fault then if the guy got lost, but then again he summoned his weapon back after and that was that. On a roll of eyes he listened to the pair, the softer sobbing woman as well. And then another announcement from the big red gorilla. Fantastic.
Moving along at a steady, though tense pace, they made it to an open area of the mall. Hearing Gretchen's call Cain moved towards her, wanting to double check the map as she did. Thankfully it was an agreement where she pointed. Just around the corner, great, already moving he took lead. "Let's go then," Not waiting for reply and only giving one glance back to see if two glows followed he was off. A lift of weapon and he swiped it overhead to read a board they passed, the rink was close. A few more steps and they were at the entrance, Cain paused waiting for the others to catch up if they were to far behind, "here." and be blue OTL fml sorry for the late reply guys

Thomas finally got back to his feet, just in time to see some guy he'd never met before come rolling in across a disgusting, rotten blood and nailpolish covered floor. "You ah...may have gotten a little ah...on your jacket...ya." He flashed the newcomer a grin, before giving his head a small shake and taking a deep breath through his mouth that he very nearly gagged on, having forgotten just how rank the air tasted at that moment. Carefully maneuvering himself forward, he lunged at the infected and gave it a couple of solid, spiky punches with his gauntleted fists before jumping back again. "It is as Horace says, and yes, I agree that it seems this Rep knows more than he is telling us. It did also seem like he was warning us before that the lights would go out if we did not finish our job before sun down. But why?" He mused, failing to duck a clawed swipe that came his way. In a show of great athleticism, she launched herself onto the back of the infected and drove Nona's hooks into the top of it's chitinous, armored skull.
