Shinichi rolled to a stop beneath one of the few trees in the plains. Although it was mostly regarded as boring by the other Kusa-nin, Shinichi loved the aromatic place with all his heart. It was his second favourite place in the whole world, after the dense bamboo forest, of course. That should have made no sense, since this terrain provided little cover. Nevertheless... Shinichi took a moment to rest his legs under the shade of the oak and then hopped back up. He watched the leaves fall around him, swirling in unpredictable motions. This would make excellent training. The boy braced himself, then tried to step out of the way of two falling leaves.

He was immediately struck by the random path of one leaf. His momentum in trying to badly avoid the other caused him to trip and land in a huge pile of... what else but green leaves. Shinichi blew a vein out of his nose and rolled to his feet. This wasn't an exercise where he could predict the enemy's movements and then act. No, he had to rely entirely on his reflexes and instinct. Shinichi tensed a gust of wind blew past him, then hopped up in hopes of dodging the attack of a frenzied blade of grass that had flown up.

Shinichi was struck yet another time, the grass slicing past his nose. Wait, how did that get there? The wind was strong and unpredictable out here in the plains, which made it especially tough on shinobi, who relied on planning over luck. He flicked the blade away and emptied his mind, as he did while training with the sword. Speaking of which, the boy hadn't gone to see his family ever since he hurriedly left. Were they going to welcome him back or punish him for leaving? No, those thoughts were best left aside. He lifted his heels and attempted to sidestep three leaves coming at him from the left.

Perhaps this was something too difficult for him right now. No, he couldn't afford to think that way. If this was something a professional shinobi could do, why not he? Shinichi leapt to the other side of the tree and raised his hands to focus his ki. Okay, he had to clear his mind so that only the basest skills remained. That way, the training would be more effective. He had to push aside all thoughts, all emotions. Shinichi breathed deeply and opened his eyes. He spotted an acorn spiraling down at him at an angle, then jumped backwards. The wind picked up just at that instance.

He hated to admit it, but this training was stupid. Being hit by leaves or blades of grass gave no motivation for his body to actually avoid the attacks. It wasn't like an enemy punching him, where the consequence was pain and an opportunity for the other person to attack again. No, a failure here meant only a blow to his pride, which had already been lowered significantly by his time alone in the wilderness. It was obvious. Man was no match against nature. Shinichi sighed and dashed up a tree, kicking a lower branch so as to dislodge some acorns. These were spiked this time of year and luckily for him, the thorns protruded from the bottom of the acorn. He landed and tried to jump out of the way, just as a larger than life acorn came down where he just was.

His worn shoes made a harsh sound on the grass as the boy slid to a stop with his chakra a short distance from where the massive acorn had landed. The valuable earth chakra here must be having a positive effect on the plants around the area. Shinichi crouched and picked at a loose thread on his boots. He would have to replace them soon and that meant getting the money from his parents, which he still had to see. Well, Yahiko-sensei had said that there was a mission tomorrow, right? If he was frugal, enough missions would pay for new shoes. But, the boy missed his parents, too, although it was suspicious how his father and mother had not already found him. He shrugged the thought off and leapt backwards to dodge another acorn.

Shinichi clutched his shoulder as the bare skin was penetrated by a huge thorn. He had gotten used to pain throughout the years, but it never got any more appealing. Well, except for the times when he had to let out his emotions. Then, it was a safety check to prevent him from doing too much damage to himself or other's property. He honestly didn't care about the people, but things had to be replaced and that took precious money. Shinichi tried to pull the thorn out with his right index and thumb, first pinching the skin, then going for the little bugger. Eventually, he managed to grasp about half a millimetre, which was enough to yank the rest out.

Right, back to acorns and thorns. Shinichi leapt up and kicked up a storm on a main branch. According to his calculations, it would give him just under a quarter of a second after he landed for the acorns to begin falling. Hopefully, that time coupled with the additional parts of a second it would take for the barrage of nuts to reach his height would be slim enough for good training. He landed with his eyes focussed on the target, then tried to rely on his instincts to dodge the acorns. Any brain work took too much time, so the best shinobi just trained his body, then reviewed the situation when his mind caught up to what was happening. He had to do the same.

Ow, that hurt! Though it was nothing compared to a good punch, it was more than expected from nuts! Shinichi wiped the resulting wound and its blood on his shirt, then tried to pull out the thorn with his teeth. It took him several tries to realise that this was absolutely pointless since his motivation for this entire dimension was nearly gone. It was only due to rapidly fading loyalties that he was even doing this. Strange thought, wasn't it? Shinichi growled and shook his head in frustration. It really made no sense, but he hated just about everyone at the moment. With a sigh, the boy picked up his stuff and headed out for the team's meeting place. He was late, again, but why did it really matter?

Koy walked though the plains everything was just the same as it had always been but some how colder and more distant . She felt horrible about grass being occupied but then again she knew grass wouldn't have been able to stand to leaf. She questioned why she was even here this place carried many memories of better time but she couldn't fool herself into just running away grass didn't have a ninja base anymore but her clan was still here for the most part. That is why she was here to repay them by training a kid and making sure the clan moves on. Now just to find the kid the mission scroll didn't give a good description just were to meet.

Hiko was doing his usual thing, laying on the grass staring at the clouds while he was suppose to be training. Born talented, the young man thought of himself as superior compared to the other few ninjas in the village, this being his current downfall made him lazier every day.
"Bah...another day another waste of my talents..."
He thought to himself before standing up and heading back to the main road toward the village just to find a figure coming closer and closer from the distance. Moving his hand to his sword he prepares himself to confront what he thought was a bandit. .

Koy sees a young man up ahead with what looks like a defensive pose but not a very good one. Drawing her eye away from him too look around and saw nothing it seems this young man was alone but then again koy thought to herself people around here must be despite.
"Blah, I haven't fought in a while if its a trap its a trap."
Koy walked closer and closer to the young man until she was within fighting distance. She then smiled like the old hokage would and said
"Hello my name is Koy Suki the shinobi of the legendary a** and I'll be the one kicking yours today."

Hiki stared at her for a few moments before allowing his eyes to look down to her pelvis area, staring at the figure of her hip he already knew why she declared herself the legendary a** ninja.
'Jesus...such a master piece makes me believe you actually exist..."
His eyes tried to move back up but it was impossible, his hand moves away from his sword as he stares for a little bit longer before saying:
"Oh no need for that...I die happy after standing before such a sight..."

Koy brings her fist over his head while he can't seem too look up at her but before she could perv wrack him to the afterlife it dawned on her. Older inexperienced genin. He should keep his eyes off of her...sounded just like every other student she has ever had. She brings her fist and says
"By any chance are you Hiko?" She asks in a nice voice

As he felt her fist he quickly looks back into her eyes and softly says:
"Hum...yes I am...why?"
Now he got sort of worried, what if this person was sent by his mother to hunt him down while he was being a lazy a** b***h. But for now he shouldn't open his mouth he thought, allowing fate to work it's own wonders was the best he could do at the moment anyways.
"And...just how do you know that ?"
He asked with a semi nervous tone wondering who this woman was, well not who she was but more like what she wanted as she had already introduced herself anyways.
