"It'll have to be two rooms, but they will be kept separate," Miyuki explained, "Also because I figured Silverbirch would use the space too for her weapons. The rooms will be big enough for a desk and bed because it'll be a home, not something temporary like a tent, and yes there will be a room for the Pokemon, but not a battling area because I can't guarantee any protections for the room during a battle."
Miyuki had no issues with this, she had planned it as a permanent home. Since it was clear to her that her family would not settle down any time in the near future. So a home that could move was a practical course of action.

Shoneah was startled by Miyuki's first comment.
"A room for my weapons?" she repeated, surprised. "What do you mean by that?"
They could quite easily stay in her room with her, and if Miyuki was referring to her needing space to make her bullets, a flat stone would be enough. She didn't need an entire room for that.

"You use a forge and tools to make... what did mom call them again? Bullets," Miyuki nodded at this, "Right? So you both will need the forge, hence I'll make the forge room a separate room not connected to Andarien's room. This way you both can use it, Andarien for his gears and you for your weapons."
Miyuki also didn't say that she was worried Andarien would work far too late if she allowed it to connect to his room so this was far more practical.
"If you don't need it for your bullets, at least consider maybe using the forge on occasion. There might be something you'd want to make to keep busy during our stops."

Shoneah opened her mouth to protest again, but then she closed it again before saying anything. Miyuki had a point. Her pistols might need some work eventually, and she had to admit it would be nice to keep her skills sharp, dabble a bit in the kind of metalwork she had always done with her father. She was more accustomed to doing ornamental metalwork, and though she didn't see much use for it out here, it would be nice to do it.
She smiled softly. "Thank you," she said warmly. "That's very thoughtful of you."
Just up the street the tailor's shop came into view, the green canvas over the door flapping slightly in the light breeze.

Miyuki smiled, she was starting to get a feeling that Shoneah wasn't use to people just doing things for her for the sake of doing it. Still, she hoped the girl would become more comfortable with them and with the way they were as things went on.
"There it is," Miyuki grinned, "If we're lucky we'll at least get measurements done today."

Shoneah smiled, though she wasn't sure what to expect from the tailor. She had never had clothes made for her by a shop before: she had made her own clothes, her mother had made clothes for her, and some of the other women in the tribe had made clothes for her, and once she had received some fancier clothes from someone from another tribe during one of their yearly gatherings.
But shops were more or less unheard of amongst her people, so this was a new experience for her.

Opening the door for everyone, Miyuki let everyone else step inside first. Once everyone was in, she stepped in after them and took a look around.
Eron had never been to a tailor's before, he had always brought his clothes at those clothing stores where there were generic sizes. He couldn't afford tailor made clothes on his salary.

The window in the ceiling let in the bright sunlight, illuminating the shop and its contents. As the last time the group had been there, the bolts of fabric were along one wall, patterns and sewing tools along another wall, and the front window had mannequins on display with samples of the tailor's work.
This time, the red-haired woman who had been there before was nowhere in sight, and this time it was a red-headed gentleman who was manning the shop. He was seated on a stool next to the large table in the middle of the room, busy sewing what looked like a tunic.
"Good morning," he greeted the group, nodding his head at them politely. "Can I help you?"

Miyuki nodded in turn before motioning to Eron and Shoneah, "Eron and Sliverbirch need new sets of clothing. They'll be traveling with us, so they will need sets of traveling clothing for moderate weather and sets of traveling clothing for winter weather when we travel up north."
That sound cover most of the their bases.
"We'll also need cloaks for them as well," she added and then mentally went through the list again, "I think that's it."
Gloves and boots would be something for the leather smith to make.

The tailor barely glanced at Shoneah, but he eyed Eron with suspicion, slowly lowering his hands.
"Travel clothes, eh?" he repeated thoughtfully. He glanced at Miyuki. "And will I be charging this to Ahkshi again?"
Shoneah blinked and leaned close to Andarien and murmured quietly, "Ahkshi?"
Andarien looked back at her. "Kyrie's husband."
Ah, of course. Shoneah had met him, though she hadn't known his name then.

Miyuki shook her head, "I will cover the cost of the clothes."
Granted the only reason why she knew she could afford it was because they had done several performances already and it was agreed the earnings should go towards their new travel partners since both Eron and Shoneah came with nothing but what was on them.
Which wasn't much if you were going to travel the whole continent.
Eron tilted his head in confusion because he didn't know why the tailor was looking at him like that. Miyuki didn't seem at all bothered by it, and she did mention they would be suspicious.

The man nodded and set his work aside, then pushed himself out of his chair and started towards the side wall where there were notebooks and measuring lines. He walked with a strong limp, but it didn't slow him down, and very soon he was back with his notebook, quill and measuring line on the table.
"I'll start with their measurements," he told Miyuki, "and then they can choose their materials. If you're going north you'll need furs for winter clothing, and that's something I don't keep in supply. We don't need them."
And while there was nothing overtly hostile in his tone, there was a note of pride in the fact that he was a member of a race that was immune to the cold.

Miyuki chuckled a bit as he said that, "That's fine, I figured as much but it didn't hurt to check. We'll be here for a while yet, so maybe some of us can go hunting with a bit of direction from Kyrie."
Since Kyrie would probably know which animals were best to hunt for furs.
"How about Silverbirch goes first, because you'll have to also take a look at Eron's clothing to see how they make adjustment for the wings."

Shoneah glanced at Miyuki, then looked at the tailor again.
He was looking at her thoughtfully, and he nodded slowly. "Shouldn't take long," he murmured. He motioned for her to approach. "Come."
Shoneah stood next to him, and he took his time in measuring her and writing down her measurements. When he was finished with her, he asked Eron to come closer for his turn to be measured.

Once everyone was measured and cloth was picked out, they were out the door once more. Everything after that was relatively quick. Shoneah already had her own bag and so did Eron technically speaking. So Miyuki could just rune them later.
They also stopped by to get a comb, razor and seeing about getting shoes and gloves. Though the shoes and gloves would have to be commissioned and they wouldn't be able to get proper boots or winter gloves until they got furs.
Once they were done that, Miyuki wanted to take a look through the marketplace. She also encouraged them to consider getting something for those times where they would stop and stay in one place. By the time they got back to the camp site, they had few of the things they needed for the trip and Miyuki had gotten material for a new (and better) tent.
