Jay sat in his bed, the antidote seething inside of him. He felt as if someone had lit a torch in his insides. He arose, looking back and forth. Suddenly there was a swelling in his stomach. He kicked open his door and ran past the main bedroom to the bathroom at the end of the hall. All that could be seen was a big black blur fly past the bedroom door, and the sound of vomiting from the bathroom. After a few flushes, Jay placed both hands on the sink, looking at himself in the mirror. He was panting at this point, and turned on the faucet. Splashing himself with water, he began to breathe heavily again. The sweat had subsided and he was cool for now...he just regretted ignoring pale like that.

She woke up, feeling a little better after the report Chanti had just given her. It seemed like Kia's plans, if it was true that s/he had any, weren't going according to the original design. That was about all, that and that Morgan and Rivven were gone. Which left Reaper and Kia in charge, but she trusted Reaper fully. After nursing Illiana, she laid her back in the crib and started to rock her. They should restock the armory, she knew Wedsday could get her what she needed...

He splashed some more water on his face and dryed his face off with a towel, and then began to go back to his room. He peered into pale's room and saw her awake "Ah, you're up an about already, eh?" He asked with a small smile. He looked and felt a little better than he did before. Now he wanted to focus on talking with his wife "would you like to come downstairs and talk?"

"Well..." she'd just been fed, Pale left her some spare ki to play around with, then joined him. Still feeling standoffish about what had happened the other night. She'd accuse him of having an affair save the fact that there was no one really for him to mess around with. Folding her arms, she joined him silently.

He drifted downstairs, staying a little bit ahead. He walked into the living room and sat in an armchair, saying "I feel I owe you an explanation of what happened...last night" He said as he swallowed and then wondered the best route to persue the truth.

"How many times have I heard that one from you?" she said sourly, not looking at him "Fine, what happened?" It better be damn good.

"Well..." He said as he sat back, fully aware of her anger. "My...virus is actually the result of poision" He said as his eyes closed pensively. "I'm not sure how or why it happened. It just did. The poision was a relative of cynide...and I've no idea how anyone could obtain such a thing" he said with a frown. "So...I'm sorry if I offended you yesterday"

"Relative of cynide? That's what me, Aes and Wed called the poison Morgan used to use when we couldn't identify it..." but although that was distressing her greatly, she still pressed: "Why the hell did you act like that?"

"Because you poisioned me!" He said as he looked at her, his voice contained a hint of urgency. "Typically you don't poision the ones you love" He said as he scratched his head, wondering how she could act so calm about this. "I thought you wanted me..." he swallowed at this point, feeling something ready to come up once more "dead"

"What?! No- I'm in the mood to kill you right now because you thought that- but I wouldn't! Damnit Jay, you think your wife would?" catching on, she backed away from him, absolutly livid.

"I was shocked when I heard it was you...I couldn't believe it. I thought there was something wrong with me...or the relationship. I couldn't think straight after that, so I tried avoiding the problem...but I suppose it's just made it worse" He said as his eyes drifted away from her.

" At least...look, who did you hear this junk from? They knew you had some s**t in you, why couldn't it have been them? And how could they be able to prove it was me anyways? That cynide stuff.." she trailed again, it was hard to talk to him.

"I...don''t know how it happened. I just seemed to wake up with the knowledge that the poision had been transmitted by cuts on my back. It needed to be diagnosed by a week...and that it was cynide. " He scratched the back of his head once more and said "There''s no tear marks on the back of my cloak...and" He swallowed once more. He felt the vomit rising, so he quickly added "I wanted to make sure you weren''t the one who did this to me"
