Dejected with the loss of shrimp and a few pumpkin seeds (hopefully those poor fish wouldn't choke on them), Mayaa decided to venture out into the pond.
Catching sight of a pom, she was about to run after it, when she felt the ice crack underneath her, perhaps from the extra weight she was carrying.
