Lyzzi's eyes were darting around, trying to see them before they got her. However, she failed to notice the hand behind her till they had it over her mouth again, leaving her short of breath by the time she managed to get away.

The attacks finally ceased, and Lyzzi would feel relieved if not for the fact that she kept getting the feeling that someone was out there in the fog. Staring at her. Just waiting for their chance to strike. It was grating on the nerves, but the more they wanted to keep her out, the more she was going to keep going.

Lyzzi had been falling a while; was she going to fall forever? Would that be her fate? If so, she would rather be surrounded by pots of hot tea and cute little teacups so that she could have her own private tea party as she continued to fall. However, she could feel herself gradually slowing down, like the fog around her was getting thicker... Or catching her to slow her descend.
Soon, she was lowered onto solid ground by her feet. Gravitating towards the glowing orbs on the ground, and bent over to touch one of them, bathing in the warmth of the blessing... And the finding herself back where she started, on the platform above.

Igny stared at endless space that opened up below her. It was a terrifying drop, even more so with the steps falling and breaking apart, pieces floating away in a gentle lull. One wrong step and she was dead.
Mist covered her vision. She watched a horrifying scene unfold, biting back the scream that ripped at her throat like a serrated knife.
It melted back into broken platforms. Igny hesitated.
