When we meet, I want you to prove to me, that you are truly the best." Atticus stated before looking towards the portal, "Tell Mirai that I hope she continues to make friends and to be wary of Texas." he added. "Also, give Michi this message: sorry for being such a pain to her, but still, I consider her a close friend and that I hopefully will get introduced to her partner, properly." Sighing, Atticus gave Shira one more glance, "Dara, Aislin, Eric, Texas and all the others, I just want them to know, that no matter what happens, I will never forget them, even Emma and Herald." he added as he had finished his last words. "I'm ready, Lady Scarlet." Atticus stated, looking at the woman. This was it, he was going to give up his freedom and life in the human world, to serve Scarlet and Divine, becoming nothing more than a slave. ♦The Magician♦ Death is a joke...Scarlet walked over and stood by the portal, grinning as she looked at the others. "You all stay safe now, you hear?" she told them. Then she stopped and looked up as if an idea had suddenly hit her. "Actually, scratch that." She pulled out her gun and aimed upwards towards a spot on the ceiling. "Jackpot!" she yelled as she pulled the trigger. Yellow resonance force streaked from the gun, hitting what turned out to be a weak spot in the ceiling. As it crashed against the stone roof, the entire building they were in began to shake. It was about to collapse. "Catchya later!" Scarlet told them as she walked into the portal. "Or not." With that the portal slammed closed, leaving the group trapped underground. "What!? She's gonna kill us anyway!?" Yelled Texas as he struggled to his feet. "How are we gonna get out of here? None of the doors lead out!" He added. The entire room rumbled again as several large stones fell from the ceiling, crashing to the ground. "We're gonna be buried alive!" Herald looked up at the ceiling, seemingly lost in thought. The tremors began to become more violent. They didn't have a lot of time. And I'm the punchline

She looked up at Harold "If you have an idea or anything of the sort now would be the time to say it." she said.

She grimaced as she tried thinking of a way out. She wasn't going out the way they came, risking another illusion wasn't worth it. He who dares__________________________ WINS Some men just want to see the world burn... And I just want to show them. Never Again...Herald looked back down at Emma after a moment. There's nothing between us and the surface aside from this ceiling. If we can hold off even a small portion of the collapse we can wait until the rest of the roof-" His words were cut off as there was a loud *crack* from above. Herald looked up and reacted in a flash. He pulled Emma towards him and bent over her, raising his hands up as a huge section of the ceiling came down on top of them. Tons of rock slammed down against Herald's hands as he bent forward even further, barely holding it above their heads. His muscles bulged and his arms were shaking from the weight; he couldn't hold it forever. But it was too heavy for him to let go or else he and Emma would both be crushed. The green symbols on his back flared and sparked as he put as much effort as he could into holding up the massive section of the stone ceiling that was about to crush them. "That's your ticket out of here!" He told them. "Get on top of this and go! I can't hold it forever!"Will I be bound in chains

She continued watching before looking towards the others.
Shira nodded and rushed over to Eric since Mirai healed him enough to where he didn't seem in any serious danger anymore. "Come on..." she muttered as she managed to get him onto her back. "Mirai, you and Texas take the lead, once you get up, run." she told them.
Mirai nodded and grabbed Texas' hand. In a few seconds she managed to climb up and out, she ran a little bit so that she was safe from falling in.
Shira quickly followed with Eric "Let's go the rest of you!" she called.
Emma stayed down near Herald, her soul wavelength quickly began to rise "Alright..." she muttered as she seemed to be looking at the large slab of stone Herald was holding She knelt on the ground "Once everyone gets up and out I will put a barrier around you so that the rest of the ceiling you are holding will slide off of it." she said as she looked up at Herald with a small grin on her face.

Dara sent a silent prayer of protection for Atticus before glaring at Scarlet when she shot the ceiling. Seeing that Shira had Eric, she quickly ran towards the slab Herold was holding and climbed up. "Come on Michi, Ina," she yelled.
 "If you can't be number one by yourself, then surround yourself with strong friends, and be number one together."

Hearing Dara call out to her and Ina, the girl send out replicas of herself in helping out her with Herald. "Let's get going." Ina Zuma Ina watched as the ceiling was shot and it began to colapse and nodded at Michi as she quickly followed her, she was glad she was about to get out of here but also scared of getting crushed and hoping to make it out with Michi alive.

He who dares__________________________ WINS Some men just want to see the world burn... And I just want to show them. Never Again...Herald looked down at Emma, allowing himself a small grin. "And here I was thinking I was about to be crushed..." He said as the others began to climb out. Once they had, he nodded to Emma. "Ready," he said. Meanwhile, Texas followed Mirai up and out of the cave. They ended up back on the surface, standing just outside the ruins of the cathedral that the group had began the mission in. "So I guess that means...I didn't die. Like, we changed the future then...right?" He said, looking back at Mirai once they were safe from the collapse. Eric went with Dara as they made their way back to safety. "I have a feeling you guys went through quite a bit to get here," he told her with a small smile. "I was only vaguely aware of time passing while Herald and I were separating. Sorry for putting you guys through all that....but I'm glad it worked out the way it did. Except for what happened to Atticus." He shook his head. "I never expected him to do something like that."Will I be bound in chains

A barrier quickly appeared between Harold's hands and the large stone slab, it was thing but quickly pushed his hands as it thickened to the point where it was strong enough to hold the weight of the stone. Emma kept her eyes closed as she focused on holdin the barrier.
Mirai looked at Texas and nodded "For the most part, yes." She answered to him with a faint smile.
Shira said nothing as she watched the area they came out of, choosing it would be best to stay quiet after the events that occurred.

Replied Texas as he put his hands on his hips, grinning triumphantly. "That Herald guy is lucky he caught me by surprise. Next time we're gonna take him down for sure! Now he's gotta fight with ME as well!" He said, comparing himself to the future conflict between Atticus and Herald. Herald waited until Emma's barrier was ready and then let go, lifting up Emma as he used his incredible speed to seemingly vanish again, appearing on the surface with her. After several more moments Emma's barrier gave way and the rest of the ruined cathedral collapsed on itself. Herald set Emma down and looked towards the cathedral. "Then the future has been changed...." he whispered to no one in particular. Will I be bound in chains

Once they were away from the cathedral and he set her down, she watched the building collapse before hearing Harold say something. Her ears twitched and she looked up at him "Pardon?"
Mirai managed a small smile at Texas "Don't get full of yourself, you need to train more. Me too." She said.
