"Hehe... Non-Functional Bunny~"
Lumine opened the other door beside Hanari's, giving them both a wide view of the impressive sight contained within the library. "Woooow," Lumine said in a hushed voice as she walked inside, privy to the library's rules. "It looks so different in the day... It's almost a fourth as big as the library in Bhavagra! I spent a lot of time there..."
As they rounded a corner of shelves, Lumine nearly tripped over something - or rather, someone. A short girl with bunny ears, but it wasn't Ochiba. "Oops, sorry, uh--" Lumine paused to look at her, then took the girl by her shoulders and held her up to Hanari. "Bunny~!" The girl gave Hanari a confused, if somewhat frightened look.

"This must be larger than the academy library..." The shinigami looked ul and about," Can you imagine how large this place can get with a few more years?" She strolled behind Lumine, giving small gasp at the crash, but sighing in relief when The celestial shepherd got up like nothing had happened.
"Lumine, that's not Ochiba." Hanari mused, looking at the confused rabbit. She took her by the under arms for closer inspection, "Yup, this is not Ochiba." She set the rabbit girl down," Do you know where Ochiba is? We are friends."

"I know it's not!" Lumine said, arms crossed. "But she's still short and adorable!" Lumine reached to idly pet the rabbit girl's head, whom in turn, gave the both of them a very confused look. Upon asking where Ochiba was, the girl nodded and shook her head free from Lumine's patting, then pointed in a direction to the far side of the library. With that, she picked up her books and scurried off in the opposite direction.
"Well, I guess that's where Ochiba is! C'mon, Maemi!" Lumine lead the way in the direction the girl pointed, following a main path deeper into the library. Towards this side were another series of offices, one of them being lit. There seemed the be some noise and rustling coming from inside. "Do you think this is it?" Lumine asked as they approached.

"Only one way to find put right?" Hanari smiled , moving to knock on the opened door,"Hello? We are looking for Ochiba?"
"Give me just a sec', hun', " the voice came from behind the desk like counter. "What is it you need? A book? A map or a reference encyclopedia?"
"We are here to visit." As Hanari turned to Lumine with a chuckle, Ochiba popped up to her feet carrying a few books. The bunny did not look much more different. Her hair was, however, longer and a braid of white hair was wrapped around her head , clipped to the side. She bLinked from behind her glasses, "L...Lumine? Hanari???" She dropped her books and hurried around the desk jumping to hug them both. "Hoooow?! Did I die? Oh tell me I didn't! I think I left the stove on!"

Lumine laughed and hugged her former mentor tightly, happily nuzzling into the soft hair and ears of the small rabbit.
"No way, you're not dead! Well, unless you just had a heart attack. And I would take care of your stove!" She released Ochiba and patted her head, smiling widely. "Sorry to give you a shock... but here I am! I hope you've been well, Bunny-Sensei!"
"It's still kind of a shock even to me... but I was chosen to be a Shepard! Like miss Tebiki... ah, did you ever meet her? Oh well, we're sorta like a being that helps Shinigami collect souls!" Lumine put her arm around Hanari's waist, "So we get to work together from now on! Isn't that great?"

"So I see! " Ochiba smiled laughing and hugging her. hanari mentioned a thing about shepherds, making Ochiba nod," Oh the shepherds! I have met a few of them in my life , not quite as pushy as shinigami."
When Lumine wrapped her arm around her waist.,Hanari gave a small eep. Ochiba chuckled," I cant think of anything more perfect than that~ "

Lumine giggled, hugging Hanari tightly. "I know, it's the best! If only Master Kazuko could see us now..."
"Anyway, how are you doing, miss Bunny-Sensei? You look really good, after all these years! ...Also, what's with all the other bunnies around, huh? Friends of yours?" She asked, recounting the number of rabbit folk they had seen on the way to the offices. "I want to hug and pet them all...hehe~"

"Oh am sure she is watching you! From somewhere anyway," Ochiba smiled as Hanari occupied herself hugging Lumine just as tightly. She looked to the office window," Ah yes, they are a few rabbit youkai who lived around my home. They are working as Library aids for some monetary reward. They are hard little workers, and since they are small, they move about quite well among the books! " The rabbit nodded, "they need very little to be encouraged to work!"
"Ah! Have you met Michiko's family? Can you believe she is married?!" She laughed still very amused at the idea,"Oooh it was such a pretty event. Her husband is quite the sweetheart. It wasn't long till she had the little belly... she was so slow , it was adorable!" Ochiba only giggled more. She had seen her fai share of babies in her life, but none had meant as much as Kuro and Yuki.

"Hehe, those rabbits sure are cute~ And useful!" Lumine affirmed with a laugh of her own. "Yeah, I've met them! Hanari and I stayed with them last night - the pups nearly ate Ma--Hanari! I never thought Michiko would have a friend, let alone get married!"
"Oh, that reminds me... there was a meeting at their home last night, and the Elites were attacked." Lumine let go of Hanari, moving closer to Ochiba to speak in a hushed tone. "There were some assassins from some.. uh, tribe or something outside the walls! But you probably know more about that than me..." She reached out to pat Ochiba's head with a palm, smiling. "But, they chased them off... oh, and Michiko invited you to her home today! I guess she wanted to gather everyone... well, because of me I guess!"

"Michiko has certainly gone a long way, Rubuke as well!" Ochiba smiled warmly," Ha, those puppies are filled with energy! They cheer up the library when they visits, though they sometimes spook The rabbits for sport."
"Those exiles again? They are growing bolder and bolder with every encroachment," Ochiba sighed quite annoyed. "They are mostly very quiet, but as of late they have been pushing their luck to take from the village, be it provisions or treasure. The elite are having trouble keeping the masses calm."

"Well, they managed to chase them and stop them this time! Though, I guess they're still a big problem, huh?" She turned to Hanari, "I'd never even heard of them before. Were Exiles always a problem for the village? Um... neither Maemi nor Master Kazuko ever mentioned them... Or, maybe they did, and I just never listened?" Lumine chuckled awkwardly, while continuing to pet Ochiba's head. "Hey, if your work is finished, we should head to Michiko's place! I'll even let you ride on my back like old times!"

"They were always here, but no, they had not been a trouble until recent years," Ochiba responded, going back to tuck things into her messenger bag," From what I know though, there is no real reason for the sudden outburst in rebel energy."
"Actually..."
Hanari cleared her throat a bit shyly, before musing for her companions to hear,"It must be because Master Kazuko died. She was the only one Anei feared. With her gone, there is few who stand a chance against the BlackWolf."
"But Seijin died so long ago!"
"It means Anei was preparing herself for a war. I think this will only get worse." The shinigami crossed her arms with a sigh,
"Anyway, we should get going right? Enjoy a nice reunion."
"Rrm...yes... let's go!... there is no need to carry me in your shoulders-"

"Aww alright, your loss~" Lumine said with a laugh. "C'mon, Michiko is waiting!" She motioned for them to follow her and lead them towards the front of the library, and out of the door. "This stuff with the exiles sounds pretty bad... I feel like I came back at a bad time! But, then again... maybe we can do something to help, right Hanari? Or... is that something we're not allowed to do? We can help our friends, can't we...?"

"Well, We can help I suppose? If we are not allowed to, then Noroshi-sama will come after us." Hanari told her. "Let's get going, we can speak it over with Kazuko."
Ochiba nods and follows them out the door," Shane! Take care of the library!"
"Sure thin' boss," A tall rabbit, close to the door nodded at them, "Want me to close shop at the average time?" She was taller than Lumine, a earring hanged off a rabbit ear, and like Ochiba she wore some glasses.
"Shane? That's an odd name for a girl." Hanari mused.
"Hahaha." She laughed sarcastically.
"Yes, I may be back before closing time but if not, take care of it, please."
Shane nodded and moved away to continue her work. "come along guys!"
--- Back at the Watiso Manor there was an utter chaos. The words from outside came on a jumble, but as they entered, it was easy to see Michiko was getting on her armor.
"Honey, calm down, they probably are playing and seek--"
"They are not! I know my children better than anyone- something happened- And i am going to go SHRED the bastards who dare touch my pups!!"
"What's going on...?" Hanari blinked as they all drew close enough to the conflict.
" Kuro and Yuki are missing!"

"Michiko...?" Lumine approached her just as Hanari did. She'd never seen Michiko in anything but her normal clothes, or those clothes they all bought together that one day so many years ago. "Wh... what?! The pups--?!" She turned to Hanari, a fiery look in her eyes. "We have to go after them! Who, who took them? They were just here this morning!"
Lumine looked about frantically, looking for arms to take up, when she remembered her sword was no longer with her. She outstretched her hand and grasped at the air; her shepard's staff materialized in the palm of her hand, the long, white shaft glowing with a soft white light. "Michiko, what can we do to help? Where should we start looking?" There was a determined look in the ex-Celestial's eyes. Nobody messes with her niece and nephew...!
