*He made a face as if cought doing somthing wrong.* "Nothing nothing..." He chukkled ackwordly. She didn't get the rest of it, good he need to stop thinking about it for now, it was too close already. She could find out what he was thinking anymoment, damn it only becuse asher made him start thinking it now he couldn't seem to drop it in his head.*

Kiera frowned, unsatisfied. "I'll find out sooner or later.." She taunted, then shifted over onto her side so that she wasn't facing him like a little child. She just wondered.

*He quit writing and closed his eye leaning back on the cushion of the couch, just on the end. But he suddenly found somehting crawing up aginst him. Of course it was Veria, snuggling herself onto him as if a tired girl claiming a boy to herself. "Ms Veria..." her replied. She looked up to him with a confussed look. "Yesh Shortys straw?" She asked in a soft however for the first ime quiet vioce. He shied. He didn't want to make matters worse by telling ehr to get off and go away. Expechally sinc eher mother left her, and she was actully attached to her mother. So he felt sorry for her also, but he wished he could somehow get her off... he wasn't yet fatisfyed he would wake up with all his mimbs, or his insides still awhere they should be.*

Kiera grit her teeth together. Knowing Veira was There. The annoying itch. "Go away Veira. Mother didn't want you and I don't want to be near you either. Go away so I can sleep." She didn't bother moving from her position, she was comfy enough.

*She made a sad face then stood up and grabbed shorstraw with a large hug and started to carry him off. "Okay i take shorty straw with me." He struggled to get loose, "no wait... veria... i dont...please let go!" She did actully stop and put him ont he floor. She was saddened and when he looked at her he just couldn't do it. "I... well... wanna be near keria... thats why i'm her apprentice i don't wanna miss anything..." he faked a chukkled. But she shied not being her usaral self.... "oooookay..." she replied tired and drug out as she sadly moped to her room. He felt horrable now. She jsut wanted somone to be there for her in her time of need. And yet... he just kept tryingt o adviod her... it was wrong.*

Kiera stayed where she was. "Just go see her if you feel so sorry for her instead of of just thinking about it. Your whiny thoughts about her are just so annoying." She put her hands over her ears and shut her eyes. There was pain.

*He didn't like Veria becuse how she always acted and was. She was truly weird. However he felt horrable and agreed. "Fine but just this once becuse of everything that happened today." He mopped alittle and walked into he room. She was sound asleep. With her snakes all around. He gulped. He slowly approched the snakes and notied they paed no mind to him. He slipped onto the corner of the bed, not even near her at all, but this way he wasn't in bed with her, and he was still there withher like she wanted. However she pulled him in witha hug. "You come?" She asked softly half asleep as she nuzzled him. Other then the chokeing he nodded, "if i live from it..." she smiled and laid back down, "i promes you are safe." she replied softly letting loose alittle however now clung to his back. She nuzzled him and was out like a light. He however didn't liek this one bit. There was no way he would sleep, and int he morning he was sure he woudl be hurt one way or another.*

Kiera looked to Shortstraw leaving the room, then turned back to her comfortable position comfortably. "a**." She frowned. But there was something up with him. Who knows what Veira could have been doing to him, and she didn't like the thought. Was she becoming too soft on him? No, what a stupid thought. Kiera wasn't weak, nor soft. Such a situation wasn't possible for her to be like that. Apart from with Shortstraw. Damn.

*In the morning shorstraw found himself laying on the floor out next tot he couch of the living room. Surly Veria had placed him there, and there was a blanket on top of him. He looked aorund, but there was no sign of veria. He looked to see if Keria was on the couch or may have seen her bring him out here. More or less he was supprised he ever fell asleep, more or less if he did he figured he wouldn't get away from Veria so esily.*

Kiera wasn't on the couch, instead she was in the kitchen. Of all things, she was making pancakes. And Hikari was actually just sitting on the counter, watching her. "You gotta spin the pan around the get the batter all around it." Kiera nodded and did as she said exactly the way she did it. Her first pancake was a success. Hikari smiled and began adding stuff to make it sweeter. "That was a good one~ Now just fifty more like that and we're done." Kiera grunted. "Urgh.."

*Shortstraw smiled and stood up. Okay so he wasn't in danger, and he most likly was expermented on becuse veria felt bad yesterday. Good. And Keria wasn't ont he couch, that could be good due to she was usally to lazy to wanna get up. He wasn't sure though where to go first. Well... he did as he ran tot he bathroom. For some odd reasion he had to go worse then usarl when he woke up.*

Hikari frowned. "Quicker!" Kiera got frustrated but went quicker anyways. "Remind me again why we're doing this?" Hikari pumped a fist into the air. "To raise spirits!!" Kiera grunted again, how could one person be so full of enthusiasm? When only the day before she was sobbing in her room. "Right." Hikari frowned again. "So get a move on!"

*Shortstraw finall came out a few minuets later releaved and made his way tot he kitchen. However when he walked in his jaw dropped. Keria was make pancakes! Thsi would never be a sight he expected. He smiled however excitedly, "Need any help!: He asked willing to help keria with anything needed to be done.*

Kiera saw Shortstraw come in and cringed, instantly shoving the pancake duties onto Hikari. "I thought you were asleep." She started, casually, shoving Hikari in front of the cooker. Hikari just chuckled and took over from Kiera. "You could help with putting lemon and sugar on them, i guess."

He smerked, "i don't even know how to use they microwave thingys. We never had them off the streets, so i sorta only eat what either dosn't have to be cooked or somthing raw." He conffessed witha chukkle as he worked.*
