Figuring that surely Alexander knew who Miss Daniella was (his favorite fire demoness) Yin misunderstood the questioning tone. "Indeed, I thought that she might know as to what would be appropriate to wear. She has a fairly expansive clothing selection for herself after all." Oh how he hoped he would not have to help her find an outfit for a date again, he could still remember how horrible that was.

Alexander nudged him and he looked up, curious. And immediately became very flustered. It was hard not to be when a certain zomboil was saying his name like that, in the same...breath(?) that he was complimenting him. Though this time Yin could somewhat appreciate it as he was not busy being utterly appalled. "Y-you do not need to," he murmured, feeling strangely awkward and like he needed to readjust his tie or shirt or something.

Oh, look, a ghoul was motioning them over. "Um m-maybe she wants to talk to us, we could go see if she requires something." It sounded like a great plan to him.

Shehk shook her head quickly.

"No, not like that. In the...emotional way." she explained. "I was really lovesick over him for a long time. I...." her fingers went to a place on her scalp before she pulled her hand away. "This is going to sound stupid, but he didn't have to hit me."

"Dancing! Okay. We will dance, then," Anna said, as decisively as she could muster.

...

"Um. D-do either of you know how to dance?"

Remi had to quite literally bite his tongue about another first he could claim of hers, choosing to keep his mouth shut both because it was Amrita and because he was not sure if it would be a first for her. Forever the playboil, forever the smartass. He was actually smart for once.

"Ow ow ow!" He feigned being more hurt than he really was, doing a dramatic pull away from the ghoul. Building himself up, he put on his best pout face and placed one hand on his hip. The other waved back and forth, snapping a few times. His best horra-bad impression of a classic flaming gay person, like on TV. "Nuh uh gurlfriend, if i remember correctly i wooped your patchwork behind." He ignored the vanishing question. Why? He didn't feel like answering it.

"Is that so? You had a very eventful childhood!" Needle chuckled, trying to imagine a tiny Muka learning how to dance. Bobbing, giggling, twitching, grinning...his poor Father. Oh well, it also sounded like his Father deserved it. As she got used to the moves she allowed her feet to get slowly more and more tangible, until she was stepping alongside him. Of course she was a little clumsy about it at first, but she did get the hang of it eventually!

Like Muka she had no qualms about showing affection; it wasn't entirely affection anyway. The Strix was just a friend. A friend who enjoyed contact as much as she did, which on it's own was comforting in some small way. She found herself nuzzling against his cheek, grinning at the feel of his growing beard against her face. "Scratchy." Another soft giggle. "This is great! I like this...but if you are hungry, Muka, we can break to eat."



"We'll see." Mac teased the ghoul on his arm, winking down at her. He did feel her tense, but since she relaxed he took it as yet another good sign. As she dragged him into the mix of couples and singles alike he followed easily enough, looking over the crowd for familiar faces; a lot harder to do now. He had a hard enough time with faces, and now everyone was totally different. Damnit!

"They dd amazing, as always." Even without Riley, it seemed that they were more than capable. Another thing he had to give credit to Junko for. Ugh. Due to the recent events he let her sparkle as much as she wanted, fighting to not be hugely uncomfortable with it. Another small thing, really.

"Who are you looking for? I might be able to help." Lizzy did seem hellbent on getting somewhere, after all.

"You do that," he told her with a little grin. It wasn't that bad, really. "Hey, Danny... y'know..." he said hesitantly. "Once we graduate... we'll still be pals. Even if I'm runnin' around all the time." It was something they'd discussed several times. He probably shouldn't even be bringing it up. "You seen Amphi tonight?" he asked quietly.

"Yes, isn't she?" said Sparrow agreeably to Xiu, with a glance down at Wren, his eyes softening in affection before he looked back at the baku. "I'm quite lucky, aren't I?"

Smiling brightly, he gave a slightly sheepish laugh, his cheeks pinking. "Yes, well," he said, and coughed a little, turning his head away. "Xiu's advice was, ah...very much needed. She's a good person."

And then Siobhan was dancing.

Sparrow lifted a brow, hardly concealing his amusement as he lifted a hand to his mouth, laughing lightly. "You are quite talented," he said, and grinned, nodding his head. "I don't see how anyone would consider you awkward..."

He trailed off when he noticed Xiu staring at him, and then her bow...Sparrow raised his eyebrows again.

"You want me to dance?" he asked, and then felt Wren squeeze his side, her warmth disappearing as she shuffled a few steps away and latched onto Xiu's arm. A small prickling of pride poked at Sparrow, and he suppressed the urge to grin. Seeing Wren actually make a move first, and be around other people, was something that made him quite happy.

"Well, all right then," said Sparrow, and shrugged off his coat, handing it to Wren with a grin and a wink. He pushed up the sleeves to the white dress shirt he wore beneath it, rolling them up to his elbows.

And then it was time to get down to bzns.



Except for that whole hip thing. That was out.
