As they destroyed his magic and attacked him, Arunaga became even more furious. He flew up into the air. Again, he chanted ancient words, but this time he sent shadow arrows flying down on the mages. 'The guild master is going to be mad at us for failing our mission...' he thought. Just then, he saw Leila just sleeping on the ground several meters away. 'Since the beast is dead and I can't do anything about it... I guess I will take her to the master instead.' he flew down to Leila, grabbed her, and started to fly away with her, leaving Kari on the ground, still asleep. Axel's body started to fade away slowly. He had arrived to where all the other mages were, and saw Arunaga snatch Leila. He put his hands up and a bow and arrow made out of light appeared. He aimed it and shot it at Arunaga and Leila. It hit both of them, and they hit a tree and fell. Axel's body started to fade away even more. "The beast's dead, and so I guess I have to go. Regenge completed, I guess." Axel said to Alexandre. "If you want the details to the story and what happened here three years ago, ask that girl." He pointed at Leila and disappeared.

 Alexandre sighed. Again with the disappearing acts... Enough already. He went over to Leila and nudged her lightly. "Are you okay, Leila?"

Akio ran up to Leila, Avery not far behind. "Omigosh is she dead?""Avery! Don't say that?""I was just asking...So is she?""I'm sure she's fine...You can heal her can't you, Alexandre?" Cordelia came and poked about Leila for a minute.

"I can..try..." Alexandre said with a strained expression. He had already used a lot of magic in healing Vivi earlier and then earlier when transporting to where Axel was. Alexandre glanced at those who had just arrived. "Unless... anyone else wants to give it a go?" he asked as he pulled off one of his gloves, ready to draw the alchemy circle.

Alexandre nodded appreciatively albeit a bit abashed at her offer. "Could you please?" he said, "I think I do require some more magic."Alexandre knelt down beside Leila and drew a perfect circle around her into the dirt. He etched in a couple of alchemic symbols and then turned to Cordelia and company.

Cordelia closed her eyes and chanted some words under her breath. "Akio, make a line in the dirt towards Alexandre, please.""Alrighty" Akio took a stick and drew in the dirt, making loops in a couple of spots. "Thank you." Cordelia resumed chanting, then a silvery white substance came from Cordelia, and threaded through the path Akio made, then absorbed into Alexandre. "I do hope that is enough. I didn't have much magic either."

"Thanks," Alexandre said, breathing out in a bit of relief as the magic rushed into him, "that will do quite well."He placed his hands on the circle. "O magnam, adhuc te invoco ... Veni ad circulum, atro spiritus et leniter sanare haec pauper anima..." he spoke softly in a foreign language, calling upon the darkness once again. The dark shadow appeared, nodding in acknowledgement to Alexandre before enveloping Leila. "Compesce vim et solum utuntur mollissimum quidque tactus..." Alexandre continued to chant as the shadow did its job.

i hear a chanting very much like my own so i go to investigate it. i come across a group of people, one person chanting over another. healing them i guess.

~Arunaga fled the area and flew back his guild~ Leila woke up a few minutes later. "... What happened..." she asked as she saw eveyone crowding around her. Kari woke up and yawned. Still half asleep, she walked over to Leila and onto her lap, then fell asleep again.

"You...you were asleep..." Alexandre managed to say before collapsing on the ground, "abire..."The dark shadow swirled about before dispersing. He held a hand to his forehead. "Dammit..."
