Pure Neimoidia

XT-613 listened to A'kire and understood why she did not want to deal with anyone else but she was clearly she was growing impatient. A'kire said she was capable of finding out the information on her own and that was believeable, XT-613 did not doubt her Master's abilities. XT-613 noticed A'kire's mask began to crack and kept it noted. "Is there anything I can do for you Master A'kire?" A'kire seemed confident in her abilities to subdue both the cloaked figure and the Togruta, though if A'kire needed help XT-613 would be there to help Master A'kire.

K20-4S's Living Quarters

K20 knew he'd have to go on another mission. He knew, there'd be no rest until his mission was complete. He restored all ammunitions, maintained his gear, and made sure they were working properly. He then thought to himself, "I could possibly try crafting new guns from other guns from the Sith, or maybe rally some soldiers..."

But he knew, that would wait till the end of the next mission he was about to go on...

Gear in hand, he set off...

Imperial Vessel - Space

Finally calmed by the Force, Elyria opened her eyes and contemplated the Mission ahead. It was dangerous to be sure, but with the crackerjack team they had assembled, they had at least a chance to succeed or at least escape fairly unscathed. What caused her the most concern was that Dark Power erupting from Mustafar itself, it was a powerful Force indeed, and not one she recognized.

Turning her thoughts to the two men in the pilot's seats before her, she noticed how much alike in some ways they were. Both exhilarated to be behind the wheel of a ship, both totally in tune to the space beyond the glass. It was quite impressive really....she was an excellent pilot herself, but did not have the eagerness these two did. She preferred to look out into the vastness of space and be captivated by it's beauty, while they enjoyed taking risks like the asteroid field and challenging their own prowess.

And at the same time, they were so different. Ka'all, sure of himself, soft spoken for the most part and always in command. Corvin, full of bravado and flirtations, but hiding a less secure persona beneath.. Shaking her head, together they formed the perfect man! But these were not the thoughts of a Je'daii Master. She closed her eyes once again and tried to catch up on the sleep she so sorely needed after the long mission to Nar Shaddaa.

stolen Imperial shuttle - Space

"I see you're following the Hydian Way. Given the readouts on these displays..." Corvin began, "And the features I noted from examining the chassis, I'm confident I can guide this vessel through these two asteroid fields" he pointed to each in turn on the galaxy map, "And shave nearly half a dozen parsecs off the journey, while getting back on course in plenty of space to avoid suspicion."

Master Endar looked over at the young man in the seat next to him with a raised eyebrow. "Quite eager to prove himself," Ka'all thought. Although he didn't much like the idea of trusting a person he knew nothing about, especially on a mission of such importance, Elyria saw something in him. The older Je'daii temple master had learned to trust his younger counterpart's judgement of others over the years, and this time would be no different. Unclipping his harness, Master Endar stood and placed a weathered hand on Corvin's shoulder. "I'm going to go in the back to check on everyone and the equipment. Notify me when we've passed the asteroid fields." With a small smile, he stepped past him, leaving Corvin alone with the controls.

Stolen Imperial Shuttle - Shortcut

Corvin smiled as he turned the ships controls onto his new course. The old Master was giving him a chance to prove himself, and he was eager to make the most of it. Thanks to the prevalence of Holoadventures, most ordinary (non-smuggler) people were given decades to be lulled into the misconception that asteroid fields were tightly packed clusters of dangerously spinning boulders that would crush all but the most intrepid of pilots. In truth, the rocks flying around in a field like that would pulverize each other into a band of space dust and harmless debris in a relatively short time (geologically speaking), and most asteroid fields were actually comprised of much larger rocks that floated much further apart. They were still unpredictable, and certainly not the sort of thing one would casually fly through at light speed... but Corvin was no casual pilot.

"Any of you been to the Coruscant Amusement Center?" He asked the assembled Je'daii, planting a subtle hint of what was to come. Just then he eased the craft out of light speed with all the finesse of a carnival ride nearing the highest point before the drop. A few tense moments passed as Corvin analyzed the field and prepared his course corrections, and then the G-Force whipped around the cabin as he turned into the field and brought the craft up to full speed, then down again, making sharp corrections and at times returning to light speed again before even fully dropping out of it. Passengers looking out the window would see the stars blur into lines that were no longer simply straight, but bent around in the distance, and would blink in and out of sight as the dark shadows of much closer asteroids blocked their view a split second at a time in their passing. The whole event was over in just under five minutes, as Corvin brought the ship out of light speed on the far end of the field, once again turning to the galaxy map to plot the next course.

"Saved us four parsecs!" he announced, well pleased with his success. Corvin may have been a novice with the force, but as a pilot his skills were uncanny - and yet, should they have watched him, the Je'daii on board could tell he was almost certainly using the Force as he flew, anticipating hazards before they appeared as expertly as if he'd been doing it for years, and was blissfully unaware of it. The new course plotted, Corvin set the Imperial vessel back into light speed, en route to the next asteroid field. "We've got some time until the next one" he announced, and added nonchalantly "Anyone else hungry?"

Imperial Shuttle - Space

Elyria's eyes flew open as the first lurch of the ship took place. Once she was aware of what was happening, she settled in to watch the light show. It was quite beautiful as the lights went from stars to streaks.

Corvin seemed quite pleased with himself, which drew a chuckle from Elyria. She unclipped her seatbelt as the ship once again maintained a constant speed and stood hoping to find Ka'all and discuss his plan for the mission. She stood behind Corvin for a moment. I'm heading back - can I bring you something on my return? She gave him a moment to answer. Excellent flying by the way, I'm sure Master Endar would be pleased.

She made her way to the back of the ship in search of Ka'all "Now where had he gotten to?"

I Just Want To See You Dead

"Stay by my side, XT-613. Do not wander off under any circumstanses, and keep your weapons hidden unless there is a fight. I fixed you up, and modified you for a specific purpose. Sadly that purpose and reason is forbidden to us at the time, but once that time is upon, you will know. Their blood will speak of their failures while we wear it on our faces like a badge of honor and pride."

A'kire placed a hand on the droid's shoulder, grinning with a sick lust for torture and the deaths of anyone who stood in her way. Her jagged teeth peeked out behind pale lips as her eyes seemed to take on a fiery orange-yellow hue. The coloration was only noticeable if you stood as close as XT was standing, but the sight was both breathtaking and frightening to behold. the Twi'lek didn't realize it, but second by second, the mask she had donned up to this point had all but crumbled to dust.

Imperial Shuttle - Space

Ka'all stood tall as he felt Elyria's force signature enter the cargo bay, his grin spreading wide as her eyes met his. She was quite an amazing creature being so youthful and full of vigor, yet mature and strong in the force all at once. "I take it your pilot has done well so far being that we are still in one piece," he said semi-seriously. Wiping the dust off his hands, he said, "So what can I do for you?"

Imperial Shuttle - Space

I'm heading back - can I bring you something on my return?

Corvin swiveled in the pilot's seat to face Elyria, still beaming with pride at the fancy flying he'd just done and privately hoping her eyes were open for it. "No idea what you've packed in the way of rations, but we've got to keep up our strength!" he said, almost jokingly. Then, in a more hopeful tone, he added "Maybe you'll join me?" He tried to read her expression, but she seemed as conflicted as she was preoccupied.

Excellent flying by the way, I'm sure Master Endar would be pleased.

She was thinking of him again. Of course she was! He's her mentor, after all... so why should that continue to make Corvin uncomfortable? Still, he was thrilled at the compliment, and his own smile only dropped for a moment before it returned twofold. "Thank you" he said sincerely, his usual cocky demeanor somehow absent from the statement.

As he watched her go, he couldn't help but steal an admiring glance at Elyria's retreating figure before swiveling back to face the windshield and watch the stars whiz past. Kicking his feet up upon an unused portion of the shuttle's dash and leaning back with one arm behind his head, he reached into his coat with his other arm for a well-earned dip into his flask, but his hand closed around something else. Closing his eyes, he withdrew his empty hand and instead focused on the comfortable presence of the foreign object, willing it to rise out of his pocket and hover in the air above him.

Where he had been eager to show off in front of Elyria, now that he was alone Corvin focused instead on fine manipulation and control, the clasp she had given him rotating gently in every direction as he practiced opening and closing the tiny mechanism that held it fast. He found it easier than handling small parts by hand, and the voices of mechanic and scoundrel within him eagerly pondered what he could do with lock tumblers...

She met his smile with her own, her green eyes sparkling and she laughed a soft throaty chuckle. "Corvin is many things - an excellent pilot being one of them. The Force is strong in him...with training..." Shaking her head "tho" I don't think he'll join the Temples, I do believe he could be a strong ally for the Je'daii."
Walking over to a nearby crate, her face more serious now, she pulled herself up and sat so her eyes met Ka'all's. Her feet swinging unconsciously, her brow furrowed and in a low voice "Well...you have outlined the Mission objective, but do you have a plan for executing it?

"you have a point Master, patience is something the universe lacks as a whole" Kad shifted around in his seat trying to get more comfortable. "though i have to agree I hope something comes up soon, we've been here how long now?"

XT-613 understood what A'kire said as well as what she meant. If XT-613 could have nodded she would have but she still had some tiny limitations that the luxury droids had, one of which was head movement was semi restricted, so XT-613 could look up and to the side but not down. Looking down required her to bend over which was an annoying restriction that could not be changed without completely reworking her entire chasis. "I understand Master A'kire. I will keep my weapons hidden and maintain a close distance to you."

Screaming Phoenix- Neiomodia orbit

Lowrak looked at a panel on the ship's computer, "According to the clock, a few hours", he then sensed something, a new presence with the Twi'lek, "Do you sense that, Kad? Another has joined the group, this one seems mostly artificial as I'm only sensing both organic and inorganic in the lifeform with the female"

Explode

No...nobody followed us here. It's impossible. That b*****d had to have covered his tracks, he just had to. Nobody would know about us or the holocron besides Stokhli's master if that indeed is who this cloaked figure turns out to be. I should have known better than to think these two were as simple-minded as most scum I've been forced to deal with. Dammit! If it isn't one problem after another. Luckily XT is here. She'll be a useful ally to have should blood need to be spilt. She isn't careless enough to attract unwanted attention. That much is written in stone.

A'kire grunted softly, looking around with an aura of suspicion and paranoia about her. She didn't speak or give acknowledgment to what XT-613 said, but was keeping mental notes on everything that was happening. She had slight insights to the minds of the Jawa and the Togruta, but these new additions to the already asinine situation needed to be dealt with quickly. Time was of the essence and every second wasted spelled failure. Without another word, A'kire quickly made her way out of the alleyway the two were in, intent on finding the Jawa before his master found him first.

"In this day in age, we'll take all the allies we can get whether or not they want to train as Je'daii. You know, though, that if he wants to stay with us on Tython, he will have to be in balance or else the planet will respond to him." Stepping closer to her, Ka'all placed his hands on her knees to stop her feet from swinging. "My plan is quite simple actually," he began with a sly smile, "We have Imperial Trooper uniforms on board for everyone. Shortly after the Emperor lands on Mustafar, we will land as if we were troop reinforcements and take him as the opportunity presents itself."
