Glancing back behind him, Tedan made the mistake of not looking where he was going for a moment and cried out as he tripped over something. He went sprawling over the ground and felt the monster hit him again before he managed to scramble back up to his feet. This wasn't good, oh this was so not good.

She had no idea what was going on anymore. Just that cursing was what she was doing best at the moment and Vashi snarling in her mind was giving her a massive headache. It was friggin dark too, forcing her to reach out with one hand to feel for a wall (or body) while holding both sais in one hand for some semblance of light.

This time when he got up and started running again, Tedan kept his focus straight ahead and dodged away in several different directions until he couldn't hear the thing behind him anymore. Then he stopped for a few minutes, leaning on one of the walls. That was close ...

Moving forward a little more slowly, Tedan trailed fingertips along the wall and took several more turns before almost getting chopped in half again. "Oh great ..." he groaned softly and then started counting seconds in his head to time the blades.

Fini felt her knee smack into more wall and cursed under her breath in a sounds much like the growls of Vashi. She could hear others around somewhere, their footfalls echoing all around. But curse this damn spot she was stuck in!
:: Do you see a way out? ::
"Not...yet." She grunted, trying to use the illumination coming off Vashi as a light source. Since her flashlight was lost somewhere in the new bout of chaos.

Another couple of the blades nicked him as he dashed his way through the room and Tedan paused on the other side, panting. He couldn't do this all damn day! Even though he knew that he wasn't really in trouble yet so far as his FEAR shield went ... this was exhausting.

....... This was some kind of cruel joke, it had to be. ********. The monster was there again after no more than three minutes. This time, he wasn't running right off the damn bat, either. Who knew, maybe he could ... scare it off.
"Shut up, you're just being lazy again, now let's go!" Tedan snarled, summoning Arda into his full form, stuffing the flashlight into a pocket for the moment. He knew very well that he couldn't kill this thing, but ... still. This was pissing him off!

This was bad. He couldn't make it stop. His eyes and throat still burned, and he couldn't regain his composure. He was still scared, even as things seemed somewhat safer. He needed a shield to hide his... condition... He managed to find Eva in the room, and made a beeline for the girl, his head bowed low in a weak attempt to hide his reddened face. He walked right past her, and faced his back to hers. She would be his human shield.

Success! She was out. Oh thank gawd. Another knee encounter with a wall and she was going to be out of impressive chains of curse words. Not that this was important or anything.

Well, that made two of them.
Fini let out a small breath...and heard something else. Maybe it was instinct or Vashi figured it out before she did. But the combination of him shouting something and the whooshing sound increasing, Fini moved her a**. And just barely avoided getting something important cut off by swinging blades.
"What the ********?!" She hissed out, heart rate picking up. :: That was close. ::
:: Too close, precious. And I don't think you are safe yet. ::
Of course he was right. s**t, she had to run through that?! "I better not lose any important bits out of this." She huffed, watching the blades carefully to try and determine how many seconds she would have. This...was going to suck.

With a sort of wordless scream, Tedan charged straight at the huge black mass, raising Ardavan up above his head and slightly to one side - over a shoulder. Once he was close enough, he brought the ax down hard, then yelped and stumbled back as the damn thing just seemed to totally deflect his hit. And now he felt the FEAR shield drain quite drastically. Oh, hell.

Tori kept on running and she still couldn't find an exit and then tripped on the uneven ground.
She didn't reply but got back up and continued to run to find that stupid exit.

He didn't know if attacking it actually had distracted the damn thing or what, but the next time he looked back over his shoulder, the monster was gone. "Please not the damn blades again ... come on..."

Good, no blades. Instead, he seemed to have found ... the treasure vault? Or something. There were torches everywhere, the whole thing was really fancy and ... there was treasure. Tilting his head slightly, Tedan wandered down the hall toward the pedestal, wondering if there was anything on it. He couldn't exactly see from this distance ...

Once he got there, though, he was a bit disappointed to find that whatever had been on it was gone. Poking at the glyph there, Tedan glanced around once more and then moved on. Better not pick up any of the stuff here. Some huge booming voice might scream something about infidels and touching forbidden treasure or something.

After studying the axe-blades for a minute or so, Fini took in another deep breath and prepared to run. Then counted off in her head.
