Damn, How could getting across a bridge be so hard?! The trainee tried to maneuver himself through the hoards of monsters, but was forced to step back as a bright light blinded him. Unable to see, he rubbed his eyes and just focused on gaining his senses back to he could move on.

And as he stumbled around in the dark, he tripped over his coat again, sprawled on the ground, and screamed as he felt the mob jump at him.
Zanthvos cheered him on.
"Were the hell did you hear that?!"
And he was on his feet again, trying not to listen to his weapons reasoning on just where he had heard it.

"Feeling like I ran a marathon." Leon said back sourly from his position on the floor. Damned pants, he couldn't even look up Cass's. The boxer sucked his teeth in irritation before trying to sit up and not lie on the floor for the ten count. "I am going to feel bad for those sun hunters, betcha ten bucks they all go crazy with a fortnight." he said with a wink in his eye to the girl that Leon really respected

Was there no end to the zombies? Clearly not. Jordan knocked the heads off a few more and wondered idly where they were all coming from.

Well, this guy was obviously in pain. Otto was no Doctor, but he could just tell, you know? Like a super power. Yep. The blonde grimaced, unsure of what to do. He felt like he should skip the rest of the mission post meeting and take this guy out of here. Then again, Otto was not a big guy. No way could he drag this guy to the Doctor. He'd need help. Otto looked to the gaggle of people in the room. Crap. Asking for help. He had no idea how to do it. He hated asking for help. "Uh.." He started, looking sheepish. "Little help?" Would that work? Hm.. "Um.. this guy don't look too good.." Maybe just a bandaid would work? But he still didn't have a spare.

There was someone just ahead of him, a guy he didn't recognize, and Jordan went to edge past him. Then a zombie jumped onto his back, and the resultant flailing around trying to dislodge the thing caused him to run straight into Jason.
When he'd got the zombie off him and properly squished, he looked over and said sheepishly, "Sorry, dude."

"These creatures just keep coming!" He wailed, this time just trying to force himself through. Though instead, all he did was bump into another trainee yet again. "Gah, Sor-" He tried to say but instead turned around as he held up his sword to deflect a few undead away from himself.

"Time goes by fast here," He said distantly, enjoying the nonthreatening company. It was a bit relaxing after... everything. "Before you know it, you'll have lost count. It's all pretty crazy. Ahahaha.. come on," He filled another couple cups quickly just in case anyone else was parched before hurrying back towards the door. He paused as he spotted Candace crumpled nearby, but kept up his pace to walk past her as though he hadn't seen her.

It seemed Jordan was having a hard time trying to get to the portal too. It was a small comfort to Jason that he wasn't the last one stuck here, but he would have felt better if he wasn't hampering the other guys progress.

"Lambs, huh? I'm a hatchling here." The nicknames were ridiculous, but for whatever reason they stuck. And in a way it was sort of comforting to be a part of a group within the larger group. Not that the trainee had spent much time with other hatchlings...
She might want to consider doing that some time.
For now though Minerva shook Sydney's hand, let out a short laugh and proceeded to throw her cheek into the palm of one hand, propping it all up on the table. "Yes, death division. It isn't all that bad, although I haven't really done any division related work. I've been sort of...I don't know, out of it I guess. Training by myself, reading by myself, doing stuff like that. By myself." She paused to shrug, sighing as her eyes rolled to meet with the settling crowd. At least it appeared to be settling down. "Makes it easier to avoid all of that. But having the drama around makes this place sort of tolerable I guess? I'm sure a yetis company would be much more exciting, but this is real to me."
She was starting to sound homesick again. Blythe urged her to move the conversation along, but now that the thought was there, Minerva couldn't quite shake it. Instead she shifted slightly to one of the boys from the hatchlings group, Otto was it? And straightened up in her seat to catch a glimpse of the man he was gesturing toward. "What's wrong?" She turned to give Sydney an uncertain glance, before leaning forward to get a better look.

How Allan moved decently in this costume, Jordan had no idea. It kept tangling his legs, and tripping among hordes of zombies wasn't in the least reassuring.

By now he wanted to just sit down and cry in fustration at his continual attempts to get home were thwarted, this time by another blinding light from Allan's sword.
Zanthvos was throughly enjoying laughing at Jason's mishaps though.
