((Okay! Let's do this!!))

Bobby dodged out of the way, however the whip DID get his arm when he got up. The flames on his arms just getting bigger. Sure, she was being all cutesy with HIM, but he wasn't all that happy for being knocked out, cattle-prodded and tortured.

"Hello, Amber. I guess you're havin' fun ******** me over more ways than one, huh?" Bobby asked, taking the still-lit hand and grabbing the whip before sending the fireball up the leather cord. "You get used to it over time." he quipped.

Meanwhile . . . outside the building . . .

((Enter Arell from Vegas))

A certain big Cajun had picked up things on the way. Dragging a peculiar metal box across the desert. Pausing on a sand dune before IO, he sat down to catch his breath. Yeah, springin' for the extra bullets was a GREAT idea, cowboy. I KNEW we shoulda sprung for that tank! he thought. Apparently having swung by an arms dealer or something . . . he looked down at the building, scanning it with his eye, hoping to bring up a layout of the building with his eye.

((Sorry, Crystal! Had to get this guy moving again))

((Star bolt whip. Made of pure energy... ))

"You're not still mad about what my father did. He can be an jerk sometimes but I think we could work out."

She smiled letting go of the star bolt whip causing it to disintegrate and disappear. The fire flickered away from it. Her hands had a red glow and she hovered above and away from Bobby.

"And we can't really work out if you leave. Promise to be good and I'll protect you from my daddy and the guards."

Amber could mean this in two ways really. If it was accidentally somehow letting them escape or protecting them if their escaped failed at least she would be able to stay with her cute, new entertaining boyfriend.

((Gonna edit that in a bit.))

Bobby snarled, stepping back in a fighting position. "If you mean that future scorchmark on the ground, then hell yes I'm still pissed off!" he growled. He noticed the door was still open behind her . . . he had a shot at getting out of here. A small one, but still there.

"Now why on earth would I trust you? By the looks of things, you're not exactly holding the door for us to get outta here." he said.

Meanwhile, Arell looked down. It was marginal of a chance, but he could see some guard towers above the doors. If he could take out the guards, he could get in relatively easier than just getting the door.

. . . after all, they weren't expecting him until tomorrow morning!

He opened the the metal container, keeping low, he produced a minigun and ammo clip. He didn't have that much of a shot, but he took careful aim, using the container to keep the gun steady as he turned on the rotating barrels.

"Let's see 'em try t' stop me now!" he growled, opening fire on the first tower.

By this time, Ivana had reached the Command Center filtering through the reports streaming in with Jimmy Zorn in tow. Ivana tapped his communicator, "Hear you loud and clear, Rose. Let's limit what the Rainmaker girl has access to." Then, the I.O. director turned to one of the techs seated beside her, "You heard the lady. Shut down all power on that level and the ones above and below."

"Yes Ma'am!"

...............................

Suddenly, everything went dark in the Deprivation Chamber with battery operated emergency lights turning on. Threshold used the distraction to focus his power to telekinetically push Roxy's gravitational force backwards, giving him some breathing room. Then while still keeping a shield up, Matthew put the palms of his hand almost together to focus psychic energy between them. Once the reddish glow appeared in the space between, Threshold channeled a solid beam directly at Roxy.

Marching through the blown doors, a phalanx of grey and yellow robots stride into the large room -- the front row reconfigures their respective right arms into sonic cannons and begin a barrage at the escaped teens.

Caitlin gets struck by a couple of the sonic blasts, knocking her back a few steps. Fairchild tries to pop her ears to relieve the pressure, and closes in on one the robots. The redhead's punch pops the android's head clean off. Even with that robot down, there were still two score of the robots close to her...

Arell growled, getting closer . . . it was a struggle to say the least packing that minigun and going down the hill. It was set in his mind that either he was gonna turn IO into a hole in the ground, or he wasn't going to walk out at all. Especially with the thought that more were inside, trying to get out. ******** the Bats. ******** the Black Talons! ******** ANYONE WHO GOT IN HIS WAY! This was a personal vendetta. They messed with two people he considered family, and someone was gonna pay the cost with their lives. He steadied the gun and aimed for the other tower. Bullets spewing from the gun, leaving a nice little pile of casings on the ground.

Soon, friend. You'll be feasting. he thought. He could feel the other form trying to get out. These fools to attacked his family would not make it through the night if it were up to him . . . and now that Red Cardinal was out of the way (and Crystal behind, since he got himself a head start) for however long it took for him to fight, he was cutting loose like a rodeo bull in a china shop.

Whilst Arell's assault pinned down the I.O. troops in the towers amongst the bodies of their buddies, a pair of Blackhawk helicopters turned the corner of the facility about five hundred feet up in the air.

"What the hell!?! That guy's got a goddamn minigun!!"

"Just waste him for Christ's sake!!!"

"Copy that."

Both Blackhawks deftly maneuver to fire, both helicopters open up an the Cajun with their own M-134 Miniguns....

Bullets zipped around him as he turned that gun up towards the choppers. "I've eaten Boudin tougher'n you ********> he growled. A bullet got dangerously close, but missed before the big Cajun kept the heat on one with the minigun, turning around and pulling a revolver on the other chopper, holding the trigger and revolution buttons down with his foot. His hat zinged off from a stray bullet, a few flying through his duster coat, but oddly enough, he kept cool. This was hell . . . right where he needed to be.

"Hasta la vista, baby." he growled, pointing it towards the front windshield, despite all Armageddon around him.

BANG!!

While one of the Blackhawks dove down and away, once the pilot saw Arell swivel around with the minigun. The other Blackhawk's cockpit became coated in red on the inside from Arell's .357 Magnum. The result was that particular Blackhawk went straight down, it's ordinance exploding as if struck the rocks.

Arell was startled when his bullet made the pilot's head explode. He had originally aimed to get the joystick out of his hands, but in all the chaos, he must have aimed a little high! s**t! he thought before diving out of the way of the blast. The bad news was, it was on fire. Not-so bad news was, a part lodged the door open just enough for him to shimmy through with the gun. He'd have to hurry though, he wasn't going to get a whole lot of time before that chopper comes back!

Dragging the minigun and cursing a blue streak about the close shave, he managed to slip in the door, but not before grabbing his hat. Time wasn't exactly on his side, and at this rate, he was half tempted to leave the gun there.

As Arell's eyes adjusted to the indoor lights inside the breach, the Cajun heard multiple loud hums. When Arell could see the sources... he saw a triad of three-story tall purple and blue robots aiming the palms of their hands toward the gator man -- harsh glowing circles in those palms.

The trio of Mark VIII Sentinels each bore the emblem: Stark Industries. The pilots in each of the Sentinels present heard Ivana's calm voice over their comms, "Fire."

Without hesitation, the Mark VIII Sentinels opened a volley of repulsor fire on Arell.....

Arell dodged as fast as he could, avoiding the repulsor fire which destroyed the minigun. There goes the warranty on that ********' thing! he thought, the worked to sneak around the back of one of them, shimmying up the leg of one of the big cyborgs. Scrambling up to the kneecap of one, he pulled his gun and aimed it at a joint of one of the others' legs. If he could topple one, he could take out the other two with the carnage.

"I'm gonna have me a ball killin' you turkeys!!" he growled.

BANG!!!

(.357 vs Sentinel armor? .... ..... nyah!)

When the Sentinel pilot noticed that Arell got on one of the legs shooting the robotic knee, the I.O. pilot laughed, "What is this honky think he's doin'? Ah heck with this!"

While Arell was shooting the Sentinel's knee unable to penetrate the advanced armor; that particular Sentinel leaned forward and swatted the Cajun -- to knock him off the mech's leg.

(Meh, it was worth a shot . . . no pun intended.)

To which it . . . sort of worked? Arell managed to avoid getting hit, but had a death grip on that robotic arm, timing himself carefully. "I ain't got time fer this s**t." he growled. So the gun didn't work. New plan. Try to get THEM to hit each other. That could work! Okay . . . something seems slightly off here. I thought Stark Industries was on the GOOD side of things! How'd these assclowns get a hold of equipment like this?! he thought. No time for thought. Just figure out how to stop these robotic monstrosities and make a road for those kids! He checked the layouts on his computer.

Okay. Three floors were without power. Rest were good. Okay, something seemed slightly off about that. Not your average wiring. I'd better try to relay this to Crystal. Either that or they have some spotty friggin' power he thought.

Well, this attack went off to a GREAT start. He hurriedly relayed the info to Crystal's computer before bracing himself for another attack.

Meanwhile, down below, Bobby smirked. "Not much of a talker, huh? Well then . . ." he said before noticing a few guards still standing. Pointing his still-lit hands like they were guns, he shot several fireballs at the guards. After all, the Talons had strength in numbers. Evening out the odds would work.

"Hey, Doc!! You gonna do something or wait 'til we're REALLY ********> Lane asked.
PostPosted: Mon May 13, 2013 11:36 pm

Henry was on a panel not too far behind the kids. "I'm trying, I'm trying... I'm a tech genius, not a professional hacker!" He was having a time, even with his computer link, getting around security to try and close the security doors in front of them, making it to where the other side was in a corner.

"Got it!" He shouted as the previously stated doors slowly started to close.

(Enter Crystal and Dundee)

Crystal had retrieved her bike along the way, having used her call button for it to meet her and Dun. She followed Arell's trail of destruction towards the I.O. Base. As she rode her phone picked up a message. It displayed on the lenses on her mask. "Holly guacamole!!! They have Sentinels and they're labeled with Stark Industries!"

Dundee looked at Crystal confused. "Stark?! But he's one of the good guys! What's he doin' armin' THESE assholes?" he asked. Uh oh . . . I haven't tried anything like this before, but . . . he thought. "Crys', I'm gonna need to get to the outside perimeter of the base. I'm gonna try to hack their armaments systems to keep those sentinels from fryin' Arell." he said, trying to slip into Arell's computer database off of his cell phone, holding onto Crystal for dear life with his other hand.

Meanwhile, Bobby smirked as the guards in the house were closed off from the relief from the doors. "Well, whatever you did, it worked. Thanks, Doc!" he said, looking back towards Amber, a sneer on his face.
