"You've got that right!"
Nightingale's eyes blinked open at the declaration, looking back to Jasmine, the girl defiant, and so set in this battle...
She would look at herself, and slowly, but by bit, up she would rise, stopping only to straighten her bag and her frown upon the Togekiss, it's attack had hurt indeed, but a good nurse knew how to persevere even when the odds were against them!
[That's right!] She declared on the back of Jasmine's stance, tiny hands at her side and belly thrust forward.
"Nightingale?"
[Yes, Jasmine?] She would respond without looking back.
"Psychic please, stat!"
[Charging!] The Chansey nodded, the blue glow already lifting her locks of fur and causing the material of her hat to sway with the energy flowing over her, a high pitched him joining the attack.
And then finally, as the high pitched hum hit its pitch-
[Clear!]
Nightingale had to brace herself as the psychic force shot forward like a brick wall at the Togekiss now, with far more vigor and resolve than before behind it!

Force was more than enough, but speed ...this was the game that the Togekiss had been playing so far and winning as the pokemon would go straight upwards. It's wings open wide as it would reach for the sky ...climbing higher and higher and higher. The pokemon would do a quick upwards wing over ...before plummeting towards the ground with an whooosh of speed so fast that it actually had sound in the movment that many would have jumped in surprise.
HE was going to finish this with another burst of Extreme Speed.

"All yours Nightingale!" Jasmine called out even after the attack missed, she knew herself she'd never be able to see the move in time and call the attack to Nightingale, it was indeed all up to the Chansey now to move and evade in time!
Nightingale nodded firmly, she knew she was going to have to be on the ball, she'd already fumbled once in the face of the Togekiss... she certainly wouldn't be able to react in time to counter... so instead, all she could do was stay ready...
Up it rose, and then like a rollercoaster cresting a high, down the Togekiss came with a burst of sound, here he came to try to finish her, and she wasn't about to let him, she'd made a single ounce of damage... and she'd lowered his defenses too, she could tell she was starting, she wasn't about to let herself stop here!
Up on her feet, and then she'd jump, bouncing into the air and spinning is a pudgy pink ball, she'd almost hover as she looked to leap up and over the Togekiss, even if it hit her like this, she was most indeed ready to roll with it!

The Togekiss was surprised ....as he would move underneath her ...as his attack missed by mere inches.
He missed her!
He had actually missing her ....as the Extreme speed was such a fast move that he didn't have a chance to turn around. It was a simple rush of power and speed that made it so that turning wasn't a possibility as he flap his wings once hard and literally dug his feet into the ground to try and stop his forward motion. He had to stop, otherwise, if he continued forwards ..he would hit the wall ....as he sent up a cloud of dust behind him as he turned to look underneath his wing at the Chansey.
Looking for that ball of pink to help decide what to do next ...whether to turn and block or to simply take back off into the sky.

((Sorry for delay in posting, newly broken wrist among my troubles of now...)) Jasmine looked up... that Togekiss was flying high, it was nowhere near anywhere they could get at the thing... Jasmine looked back to Nightingale, it was clear, they weren't going to hurt it... but-
"Psychic it. Don't aim to hurt it though... try and widen that defense!"
It was all they could do, work on lowering its defenses and wait for the best chance at hurting it again!Nightingale nodded... although that would be a lot more difficult here... she had to focus, try and see what she could do about centering her power... instead of a burst, like a bubble.... And then close it around the Togekiss in mid-air! ((EDIT: Holy hell it worked! o_O ))

Moves: Sky Attack, Extreme Speed, Aura Sphere, Air Slash
The plan would work as the Togekiss would feel the psychic as it closes around him. It would make it hard to breathe, hard to move, and for a moment would start to bring him pain ...but it wouldn't last long as he would stretch out his wings as far as possible even as he plummet towards the ground and break though it as he hover just inches from the ground.
There was anger there as he gather in his wings a sphere of pure blue before he would send it hurtling towards the Chansey.
(This battle is over, why not just surrender)
He would declare with a big smile and a laugh to himself as he attacked.

[A good medic is stubborn!] Nightingale would call out as she leapt, almost immediately having expected an Extreme Speed, the sudden variation of attack seemed to throw her off here, but she wasn't about to be caught quite off guard here as instead she threw herself forward, rolling as she did into a pink ball!
[If we just gave up every time someone told us otherwise, how else would we save lives?!]
And she hit the ground, bouncing, pushing herself to keep forward, she knew that ball of aura would keep going until it found her... but until then, she would keep moving, try to pick up her own speed!
If she could get to a point where SHE had more momentum than the attack, then it wouldn't matter if it hit her, if she was the stronger of the two forces!!

She stood there, dumbfounded, waiting, it seemed for a confirmation of anything, as dust would settle... and a beaten up looking nurse Nightingale would pull herself up, down, but not out!

This was a fight that had the flying pokemon in question ...flying around and around in circles. He had no clue what to make of the pokemon falling asleep like that, and though beaten up ....he couldn't help noticing the renew energy in the normal type pokemon.
(Wow, you actually zone out in the midst of a battle)
The pokemon seemed actually surprise by this ....as he dip his wings and then dove fast. His entire body would come down like a bullet as once more ...he would use Extreme speed ...this time the move was designed as a counter-attack.

"Nightingale!" Jasmine would call out.
[Jasmine!] She would reply quickly, they had neither time nor place for long explanations or checks... the only important thing just now was that they concentrated on fighting.
They could work on their shared dream later to see if it were true or not! That Togekiss was already barreling down upon them!
"He's too close to damage, just use your Psychic to deflect him!!" Jasmine would rush, not even hearing half her own advice, pointing onward, zeroing in just as the Togekiss zoomed in towards her, relentless in assault!
Nightingale didn't even shout back, her eyes lit blue, locks of hair flowing upwards as she sent her power upward, looking to push up from under the Togekiss, a wall of energy acting as a ramp to send the Togekiss flying away, but pushing down at the same time to lock him in place, crushing down with that Psychic energy, she wasn't about to let him go his own merry way!

The hit would be a solid one as the Togekiss would spin with the delight of the impact. He would flap his wings once hard, and then seem almost to corkscrew upwards into the sky. He would go once ....a wing over ...and then would torpedo back down.
(No mercy ...sleepy head)
The pokemon seemed to giggle as he dove and spun and turn and twisted. This match was about to end quickly ...and he was determine he would do so ....with every ounce of his body.

Jasmine grimaced, watching the Togekiss tear through the psychic wall and blast past Nightingale, bowling her over all the way, whatever inadvertent bonus they'd received from Cresselia healing Nightingale was gone... And the sheer difference in strength and Nightingae's defence was more than visible... And up the thing went, before turning...
It was risky, but maybe this time, instead of rushing it... "Let's counter it while we have the chance Nightingale! You got another Psychic in you?"
Up the Chansey rose, shaking her head and her floppy ears along with it.
She was on the ground, one stubby hand holding her up, but luckily, posture didn't mean much when you were using a Psychic move to attack rather than defend, eyes filled with electric blue, those ears rose and flowed as she pooled her energy, set on the oncoming Togekiss! [Dont't worry.]
[This time I've got him!] She barked, before she unleashed her Psychic force, as an invisible wall came between her and the Togekiss, looking to deflect the Pokémon and give him something to think about for his troubles!

(14 - 6 + 11 - 18 = 1dmg (-1 Sp def)
The attack would glance off causing just a small tremble of pain in him. He would try and shake it off a bit, but, in the end ...one quick flap of his wings and he had once more gained height. He couldn't believe he had been injured and to put insult to it ...it had happen during his own attack. The Togekiss though would smile beautifully.
(You are a lot more fun then I thought you would be. Yay ...Yay)
He sang as he flew.

Jasmine's pokédex scrolled one single digit... it was small... but... Jasmine grinned... they were making a dent little by little...
Nightingale let out an exhale of breath as the Togekiss would smile, and she would return it... alive or not... she was making this battle fun for the Togekiss... and that alone seemed reward enough as she'd held him at bay once more.
Jasmine looked to Nightingale... this was definitely the Chansey's hardest fight, she was giving it her all here, Nightingale had never been a real direct combatant, but here... she grinned, "Every little helps, Nightingale, you just need to make sure to keep up momentum, even if you can't damage him, getting his defense down will help ready a final blow!"
[Right!] Nightingale nodded. When the Togekiss wasn't attacking, there was plenty of time for her and Jasmine to communicate instruction, and here she took her time, following the Togekiss, focusing up energy, as once again the blue wall would appear as energy flowed from her, right in the path of the Togekiss... before another wall would appear from behind, slamming to pin it between the two Psychic barriers of energy!

The wall would sandwich him as the two pulsing energies would hit...at together, but the Togekiss wasn't hurt at all as he simply flex his wings outwards ...catching both sides of the wall to stop them from crushing him. The energy flowing, but, he was stronger than that ....as he pushes it back and then drops downward. He wasn't even trying to catch himself as he flips over once so that he was facing his opponent as a big grin would cross his face.
He was about to have a lot of fun with his attack ...as he built up more and more speed as he plummet.
(Extreme speed)
He called out happily as he directed his head towards his opponent as he twirls in a circle ..over and over as he came at his opponent from above. His flight pattern from earlier had led him over head as he came at the Chansey with his full speed and power.
