"So many people...all at one place" Manra says as they arrive at the marketplace. It made her a little intimidated as she quietly nibbled on one of her thumbs She begins to look around at the different shops that are there..

Silla is very quiet. She has a muzzle, indicating that she is an anthro. When you get to her neck, you find that she does, in fact, have a collar. It's not very thick, but it is leather. It actually feels very soft for leather.
Maxwell:

The blade is well-made; the blade is very sturdy and can stand a lot of materials without getting ruined too much.
Manra:
The shops include: bread makers, apple growers, pottery makers, etc. The most popular shops seem to be the various produce growers.

"Silla?" I ask, laying back down slowly. "You okay?" I asked in a concerned voice. I wondered if she was thinking about the same thing I was: the concequence of failure. She likely didn't know that I had a magical ring, and I really didn't want that many people to know in the first place. Having a bit of surprise factor might be more useful then the ring itself.

She is clearly scared of the possibility that her owner could take you down, thus forcing you to be his newest "pet."

"I like blackberries," Rai'o replies. "They are very rare in these parts, but they are delicious..."

I take a slight pause to take in the situation "Besides, if I can't take him down in the duel, then I'll just find a different way to win..." I say, rubbing my ring a little bit. I was debating on whether or not I wanted the to use the ring in the duel, as to make it both available if I fail, and to make sure of people as possible know about it.

He starts perusing the selection, until he finally finds some. They are marked "1 batch for 5J." You have 20J on you.

Silla just nods.
"Very well," she says. "I'll take you up on that offer!"
She comes over and puts her paw on your shoulder.
"But first," she says, "I owe you a massage."

I gently put the sword bac down on the ground. I flip back over to my stomach. "So... will he send a champion to fight me, or will he face me himself?" I ask. This was highly likely to determine if I would have to kill my opponent or not. If he sicced a thug on me, I would probably have to cut out the last shred of his life. If it was her owner, however, it was likely that I could get a surrender.

Manra follows Rai'o to where he finds some blackberries for sale, and the sign. A batch for 5J? She wondered how much made a batch, and quietly asked the person selling them, "H-how many blackberries is a batch?" She did her best not to suck her thumb as she asked the owner.

I smile at the idea of facing her owner head on. I knew that for him, there would be vested interest in not inflicting gross physical harm to me... after all, a mutilated looking girl is next to useless for selling sex. On the other hand, I really would have no reason to hold back, though he was likely to surrender if the battle gets too overwhelming. Regardless, He was also likely quite powerful as well if he would be willing to fight me head on. However, I let these thoughts drift for later as I started to enjoy my massage. I had to start my quest on a good foot, after all.
