Makayla felt her eye twitch as she shuts her mouth for a moment. These two were higher ranks? Really? This had to be some sick joke, no really? Turning her eyes towards the other girl, she tries not to smile at the guts she had for actually doing what she would have done if the song continued. Stepping out of the pod, she crossed her arms under her chest as she looks back at Rep as he explains things.
She didn't really give two shits about how he or Jerry got scars, they could have been lying and got them from shaving for all she knew.
The only thing that actually did make her shut her trap was the fact Rep said she was disposable.
Um...HI....no she wasn't.
Lifting a hand to the bridge of her nose, she takes in a deep breath before she lets it out "Okay...Rep...since you seem to know your s**t, and I rather deal with you then the singing one over there." she nods alittle before she turns her full attention back to the fuzzy man in front of her "You said something about a weapon?"

{Awakening}
For so long there had only been darkness. An empty darkness with no way out and no where to go. Smith could only remain there, fixed in the eye of storm. Though he barely remembered it and certainly didn't want to rehash those memories, death had put him in that strange pod and kept him there for what seemed like an eternity.
However, his time in that strange purgatory was interrupted as a what was once a bleak and quiet space was suddenly filled with a low humming noise that quickly became a hiss. Smith wasn't sure if his ears were actually ringing or if something else was creating the sound, but the noise quickly ripped him away from his dark little world of nothingness. His hands and feet popped and tingled as he stirred within his pod, slowly gaining his bearings. The bright light was overwhelming at first and caused Smith to stir further in his pod. Slowly his eyes adjusted as his body followed suit as he acclimated to his new environment. Smith tried to peek through the glass, but was only able to make out more pods, so cautiously he pressed one hand against the glass to slowly open the pod. However, the glass vanished quickly and he stumbled onto his feet.
Looking around, he only found more pods and he realized there was a strange commotion going on in front of him. At first, he didn't speak and only took in some deep breaths of the stale air that he could only imagine belonged in some hospital basement along with a row of cadavers and disembodied organs. After a few moments he managed to speak.
"What the hell is all this?"

"Aye. Weapons. Those shadows and monsters you guys have to deal with are monsters, demons, reapers and s**t. We capture them, turn them into weapons and use them to fight with. I'd show you but my axe is too ******** big to summon in here. Maybe Jerry will ******** enlighten you dumb bitches with Roar." He almost wished the other Sun would, maybe they'd stop being so defiant and cocky looking down the barrel of a sentient bazooka. "We are Su -" he cut himself off with a wince. "Jerry's a Sun. Combat division, you'll all get divisions later."
And then ANOTHER pod opened. "Oh my ******** god what." he said. At least this one was a guy.
He almost said people were probably waking up to get away from the ******** song, but he resisted, he was backing Jerry up and building him up, not cutting him down.
"Good ******** morning." he barked at the guy. "Deus Ex Machina. You are a hunter. Monsters are real. EVERYONE NEEDS TO ******** GET TO THE WEAPONS CAVE IS WHAT."
It was slowly being upgraded from problem to ********>

Tuck wandered into the room, eyebrows lifting.
"Oh."
He scratched idly at his chin as he moved to stand near Jerry, arms crossing over his chest as he peered at the pod people.
"Good morning, everyone."
There was a huge grin on his face.

[Awakening]
There was a long silence from Radley's end until the pod opened, all of her senses assaulting her at once.
Everything sounded like she was in a dome fishbowl, the light hurting her eyes. Radley flinched and brought her hand up, squinting as she shielded her eyes and attempted to get used to the light. Slowly, gradually, she heard voices and turned to look at others who were standing around and talking. Some looked angry.
Were they angry at her? Radley didn't know.
Stepping away from the pod, the ebony-colored woman glanced around the room, seeing the other pods. Some were half empty, others were still occupied...
"... where am I?" Everything felt fuzzy, and she felt like she'd slept for ages. "Is this a dream?"

When a pod near him hissed open, filling the room with a hint of stale air, Tuck leaned over to glance at the woman.
"Ain't a dream, darlin'. Welcome to Deus."
Tuck's grin grew broader. This was actually kinda fun.
"You feel okay? Take it slow - s'the best way to handle it."

"Oh my goodness!!" Jerry blinked around them as more and more pods opened. How many months had he spent on pod duty, mostly using it as Practice Time while they all sat dormant and dull as drying paint.
It must have been his song.
So many fresh ears!! Well, the two first ones might have been high school prom queens sent to boot camp, the others hopefully had more of a sense of humor!
He started a much more practiced and familiar tune, getting fancy with his picking,
"There are demons in the shadows,
who creep and kill and fright~!
We'll bring those monsters to the gallows,
but they'll put up a big fight~!"
As far as he was concerned, this was a much nicer way to be introduced to the place than the hazing he remembered.

"Don't teach them the sun song!" Rep snapped, crossing his arms. "Some of them might no even be suns."
He'd given up trying as pods seemed to pop open all around them. Spring had sprung apparently.

"... oh." Not a dream. Everything kind of felt like it was a dream, and Radley cracked a few of her knuckles as she thought for a moment.
The woman smiled at Tuck, rather liking the fact that she was called 'darling'. She hadn't been called that for a... long time, right? Everything was fuzzy, just as if she'd woken up from a dream. Or a nightmare.
Radley couldn't tell which was which yet.
"... sounds like you've been trailin' me." She stated flatly, staring at the one singing. Why was he singing? "I do hope you're not trying to woo me, seeing as how we've just met." It was meant as a joke, but she was too tired to grin after the fact, half hoping it would at least provide a little bit of a smile. "Demons in the shadows, huh."
Piggy back rides. Oh, Radley loved those. But she didn't want to inconvenience anyone, so she merely looked at the one who offered. Pining for one. It was a fond idea.

For a moment Smith stared blankly at Rep. That was not the introduction he was expecting. He opened his mouth again, but decided not to speak since this didn't seem the best time to have a long drawn out Q&A with the shouting guy across the room. Instead, Smith took a few seconds to regain his composure then greeted everyone with a wave and a confused smile.
"Uh hello guys. Deus Ex Machina. I'm a hunter.. er we are all hunters. Monsters are real and there is an urgent need to get to the weapon cave. Awesome song... I don't think I've ever heard anything like it."
Taking another look around, Smith noticed that some of the other pods seemed to be active while some seemed to have gone dark long ago. Strange room filled with glowing pods with some sleeping people and some possibly dead people. He could definitely say without a doubt that this was the strangest room he had been in. Returning to the situation at hand, he took a few steps towards the established hunters since they seemed to have the answered he needed.
"Um.. where is this weapon cave and what will I need to get there?"

Seriously if the dude with the guitar didn't stop, she was going to do what she wanted to in the first place. Balling her fist up, she turns towards the hissing which seem to be what clued these fools into another one waking up. One female...and another male.
her eyes glance towards the male that seem cheerful. Had she not already had her mood spoiled, she might have smiled at him and willing to listen. But that was not the case at the moment.
Looking away, she tries not to smirk at the thought of getting a piggy back ride. As that almost tempted her. Okay so not all the males were crazy, this might be a good thing.
"So where is this damn weapons cave you keep screaming like a girl about?" she really didn't care at the moment if she pissed him off, she just wanted to get out of the room before her ears actually start to bleed.

"That's Jerry. I'm Tuck. That over there is Rep."
He lowered his voice as he leaned in closer to the woman who'd just woken.
"I'd stay away from him if I was you. Now," he clapped his hands together, not too loud, and continued grinning at Radley.
"What's your name? Can y'walk?"

Rep gave Tuck a very dismal look for his comment about piggy backs. "No get enough fanny the other night man? Still gunning for it?"
"The cave is not far from here, I'll show you ******** once everyone is good and ready to leave, or the smooth customer over there will, one of the two."
Ayla though hit his trigger word by saying he was screaming like a girl. In about 5 seconds flat he cleared the room and seized her shirt, leaning in painfully close with a snarl. "Watch your ******** words b***h. Ah'm no ******** woman."
