It was one of those nice, freezing cold days to sit outside by the fire, roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate. Yes, because everyone did these kinds of things in the cold! Maybe it was true, that Autumn had no brains at all? Well, at least she had a nice fire going, it was surprising she could even start one! Had she used her magic, it would be even more shocking that she didn't burn the whole forest down accidentally. Next to her, was a pair of ice-skates. She hadn't yet put them back on after taking a break from earlier skating. As for the rest of her family, it was beyond her where they were! Everyone was scattered, Aria was here, but ended up leaving after she realized the person she was hoping to see, wasn't going to show up anytime soon. His family was probably trying to keep him to their selves..how dare they..

But that was all good, all the more marshmallows to enjoy! Maybe she should make some smore's next. As she was about to bite into the toasted treat, a blur of vibrant soft blue came to her vision, and suddenly, the marshmallows were gone! "...!?!" She blinked a few times, and what would she see flapping it's wings and just kind of flying in place in front of her face? ...Some kind of spirit soft blue dragon. It was just finishing off it's stolen treat, to which it seemed to enjoy. "Eeh?! Where did you come from??? ...Wait, hey...You stole my ---!" Her word cut off as another vision came to her sights, standing several feet away was what looked to be a small silver-haired girl. Dressed in a long violet, gold hooded cape that flowed elegantly over her white gold-lined short dress. Standing out further was the wolf ears sticking out of the hood of her cape. Her crimson red eyes were locked onto Autumn like a hungry wolf about to go in for the kill! The girl held out her arm, which seemed to signal for the small spirit dragon to return to her, which it did. "..H-hello..! Um, are you..lost? " Eeek! Why did she detect a familiar presence within that girl? And the way she was looking at her, it was really starting to freak her out! "A...Are you...Thana? " She looked a little older, not by much, maybe a year or two. But still there was a obvious change. For starters, her eyes were now the color of her mothers, that eerie, crimson red.

Autumns face fell into a sort of blank stare, as an arm was settled at the top of her head. It wasn't hard to figure out who that wonderful person who decided she would be his leaning post was. Due to his leaning, her large brimmed wizard hat sort of leaned forward, blocking her vision for a moment! "..Florete... if you don't get your arm off my head, i'll send you to the moon!! " As if that was such a threat! He would just find his way back here. Jerking her head back, she intended to ether make him fall or move it away on his own! "Anyway, where else would I be? This is kind of one of our homes you know! It's not like any other place is safe, people just snatch you out of no where now days..So, i'm not going to worry my life away. I'm just going to get better with magic, and surprise anyone who tries to start a fight.." She could dream, would such a thing ever happen?
As Hayley would start to talk to Thana, Autumn was already working on her own little idea. "Not smart, huh? Let's see you top this, Mr. Perfect-Hair! " She teased, as if it was some sort of insult!
Taking hold of her wand, the tip would immediately start to glow from her touch. Magic would spark to life, as tiny orbs began to float away, into the open door of the house. Only moments later, small objects could be seen floating right along, back out the door and into Autumns direction! "Watch me settle this, Serenitian style. Pink Hair Girl Power will be he victory of this day!"

What would float over to her, were more marshmallows, bars of chocolate and gram cracker squares. She began to put the marshmallows on the stake that also arrived with them, and stuck it over the fire...
In only moments, the toasted marshmallow's were ready for placing onto the gram cracker, only to next be met with the best part of all, the chocolate. Placing a square over the melted marshmallow, she topped it with the other gram cracker, lightly pressing them both together..

"Hey, Thana.." She got to her feet, taking slow cautious steps toward the girl. Why did it feel like she was trying to earn the trust of a wild wolf? "Do you like treats?..Um, sweets? "

Autumn's grin widened, oh, how this moment was the very best in her entire life! Florete falling because of her? Such a thing never happened before! "Wait, did you just fail for once, Perfect-One?! " Poor Florete would have to deal with her crazy laughter, despite the fact that he seemed to be comfortable where he was! She really could win nothing, but still, she wanted to try to rub it in a little!
"I would...fly away on my magic broom, what else?? And....my magic isn't that weak! And if I need to defend myself, I have that to rely on. " It was only if she was without her hat and wand that she would be doomed and defenseless. "Whaat? There's no way I would ever accept having a retainer.." Autumn's tone took a more serious tone as she continued. "Do you know what a retainer is? It's a baby-sitter..Someone to look after you, follow you, watch every little thing you do. And they are just another constant reminder of saying a person is useless and needs to be watched twenty-four-seven. It's bad enough that people endlessly tease me, and that Reaper to follow suit..If I was to have a retainer, it would only prove everyone who see's me as a failure right! ...So, no..I don't want that, ever..I'm fine on my own, just as I always have been. " Again, she shook her head."Mordi will have her own retainer someday soon, she's the one who needs the protection. Because she's so powerful, she will only attract the monsters that want to use her for her power, or take it away from her.."So in a way, it made perfect since for Mordi of all the children of the future, to have a retainer the most.

While Autumn and Florete became so into conversation, Hayley decided to step up and talk to Thana now, letting the two continue their conversation. "Unisha would make sure they don't treat him badly and set anyone who's against him or Thana straight..Don't you remember how scary she can be when she's angry? If they didn't accept him....then they aren't true serenitians as far as I'm concerned! They should be understanding, forgiving...If they can't do those things, then they shouldn't even be living there."

Then came Florete's little..joke. Or was it really a joke? She could never tell with him! As she was about to walk back to the log she was sitting at seconds ago, there shot up a branch of a tree, or maybe it was a root? She didn't have time to detail it, as the next thing she knew, she was on the ground! Face first.....into her hat. Yes! She was saved by her hat falling just right off her head, and onto the ground below her. No mouthful of dirt today for Autumn. "....! " With a lift of her magical wand, Florete would be met with a gust of heavy winds and blowing dust all around him. It seemed to center only around his body, so no one else was affected. "Escape my wind tunnel, and maybe you can!"

"You say that now, but we'll see. When my magic is stronger then your little mind games,and I surpass you, i'll make sure your on your knees, begging for forgiveness for once! " That would certainly be the day.
"...." For a moment there, Autumn went silent. Was it a silence of guilt, because she couldn't bring herself to say he was right, somewhat..though instead of her hitting herself with a paralysis spell, it was her hitting Ephraim with it, and leading to Krul having taking him much easier.
As he went on to his usual cruelty, and taking what she said in his own little messed up way, Autumn's eyes would narrow.."...Shut up! Your messed up, heartless mind only knows how to twist stories around, doesn't it?! I didn't say that, and you know I didn't mean it like that. It's completely NOT what I was saying...God! Why did I ever think you could ever be helpful? Or nice, for ONCE IN YOUR LIFE?! " Oh, she was angry. Nothing like a good sibling fight to carry on the day. "I never once thought badly of Mordi, or Reiner, or any of Azura and Ephraim's kids. " Of all the things to insult her with, he had to make her feel terrible..
Then it came to their 'battle', as if it could really be called one, she was far to angry at this point to play in Florete's world of ticking people off. To bad he won this one. Grasping 'Broomy', she would suddenly spin around, about to knock it into him to knock him away, not so much hit him with it, even as angry as she was, she couldn't really bring herself to actually strike him. She wasn't heartless as he was! It was also in that second, rather her broom hit him or not, that she would feel the weight pulling her down..
Oh no, She wasn't going to let him have all the victory here. Her magical broom would suddenly float in the air, moving on it's own to slide under her, so she was now sitting on it. With her hand holding onto the left side, she would force her way out of Florete's gravity spell, flying high into the air, and far from his reach! "You'll be happy to know, we don't need to have that talk anymore. I'm gone! " And so she was, leave it to Florete to ruin a nice day! Eventually, Autumn would no longer be visible as she disappeared in the distance.
