Takara stood there when the group of lycan stood there conversing with Kouchi and the rest of us. Placing her hand upon Kouchi's shoulder, she wanted him to know that she was still there and that she wasnt going to be leaving without him.
Still with her hand on his shoulder, she turned to face Runa and said, "Where's your horse for I'll take it with me and you head back to the mainland with Chan and Jian."

"If you're not all powerful, then how do you plan on controling these mutts?" he said, gesturing to her army. "If you can't keep them under control, then maybe you shouldn't be in charge."

nahshon Angel87309 I nodded listening to Takara and Chan, "Yes, lets go back to the city now, please....oh...", I said and turned away. "....I can't....I have to get the old man's boat back to him to retreive my horse.....You will have to go without me...", I said looking away. Splitting up again from my friends was the last thing I wanted to do, but I had to do what was right and get my horse back. "Where is this person?" Chan asked after reading her mind. I looked at him, "The old man....hes in the land of the Sea of tears...on a bay", I said softly. "But I told him I'd bring his boat back, I can't leave it here", I said looking at the others. I wont get my horse back, I thought. I then looked to Takara, was she suggesting I leave her...I looked down defiantly, that I would never do. I looked up at the female lycan who didn't seem very patient or willing to talk things out. Another obstacle, I thought grasping onto my sword tighter.

Tora turned her head to see the one who had spoken so respectufuly to her, and grinned when she saw him bowing in respect.
"It is alright that you are here... just stay out of my way... and thank you for such respect"
She said, fealing all high and mighty but not letting it show all that much. She nodded to him, in a small way to return the respect he had shown her.
it was then that she turned her head to the one who persisted on nagging at her.
"And you are one to talk?... the one who could not stop them when they where raveing mad and could think of no better solution then to kill them all? Let alone think of keeping them under control! OH NO! who would ever think of letting them live when killing them is so much simpler!"
She said in a mocking voice. some of the lycans behind her jeered and spat at the ground or even shouted some insulting things to him.
"I can not control every liveing being, and nither can you."
She said, in her high and mighty voice.

They were killing innocent people like they were livestock!!" Kouchi's anger was getting the better of him. He had seen too many innocents die and he was powerless to stop it. He closed his eyes for a moment and breathed deeply. After a few moments, he opened his eyes as spoke in his usual calm, quiet voice. "I do not wish to control any living being....nor do I want to see any creature making the lives of others miserable."

one of the lycans shouted from behind her, as if that where the ansure to the young man's question.
Tora turned to look back and hopefuly catch a glance at the one who had said it. When she returned her gaze to the one who had asked the question she waved her arm in a slow motion to the side.
"there you have it... Yes, I am the new elder of the lycan race"
She smiled at the one who asked then returned her attention to the one makeing stupid demands of her.
"well... I hate to tell you kid... but to a lycan, a human is food. They went on killing you like livestock you say?... I guess you feal no diffrent then the cow who watched it's best friend get turned into steak for your meal."
now that was something for the boy to think on... maby he would be quiet for a wile wile he thaught on the matter.

Takara could sense that Kouchi was upset so she gently walked away and headed towards the shoreline for she knew how he felt and how upset he was especially when it comes to innocent people....kids were killed.
"Runa, Im going to the shoreline and make sure the boat is still secured." she softly said and headed that way.

Kouchi felt his anger boiling up again. "Why am I having this conversation with you? You seem to lack the compassion of any good ruler."
Having said this, he started forwards, moving straight through the pack of lycans, Wolfsbane still on his back. He stopped just short of the end. "...Have you ever lost a loved one, Tora?" he asked quietly, finally using her name.

"Takara...shouldn't you stay with him", I asked her softly. "The boat can wait....it's not as important as....a friend. I know we are safer back on the mainland, but we can't leave anymore....I can't leave. That army is massing, they will eventaully attack...they must be stopped somehow...I can't go back with that information, and live like it isn't important...Kang will have to wait...even if he hates me for it...this is so much bigger than he or I. If I fight...I want you at my side. Will you fight no matter what our outcome might be", I said looking at her my eyes reflecting the determination and sadness I felt.

Slowing her pace, Takara looked back at Runa as she came up beside her, "Runa,.. I want to stay with him but...I dont know anymore..part of me says to go back and support him; while the other part of me says run away and never look back." she softly said as she glanced back where Kouchi was standing. "As for being by your side, you know I will be no matter what, even if it means for me to give my life for yours...I would do it."

Tora Nodded respectfuly to the one who handed her the book of wolves.
"thank you sir, you are welcome back to the isles any time you wish."
She then receved the book in one grate paw, and with another nod she turned to watch the one who was being such a nusence begin to leave with what had already been claimed as the pack's.
"block his way, please"
A good few Lycans where happy to oblige, although had to resist the urge to bite his head off after he had been so rude to the new elder. And then had the gaul to try and take off with what was rightfuly theirs.
"if you are going to preach to me about someone you lost I do not want to hear it as I can not change the past, and you are not makeng it any easyer for me to change the future!"
this was getting stupid and predictable and she had, had about enough. She just wanted to get on her way! was that too much to ask!?

Kouchi glared at the lycans blocking his way before turning around and walking back to Tora. He removed the sword from his back. "Then you can't even begin to understand the pain your race has caused," he said quietly as he tossed the sword onto the dirt near her feet. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have an orphan to look after."
He walked through the pack again, pushing any lycan out of his way. He was through with this Godforsaken island.
